Two kids working tonight were acting a FOOL when we came in, were dropping scoops and putting them back in the ice cream, talking to each other the whole time and being extremely unprofessional even for young kids in a casual environment. Were cursing and complaining about their jobs, and complained when multiple different customers came in at the same time saying they wouldn't get out by 9:30 (9:05 at the time) because of the big rush. read more

***Terrific***ice cream but pricey--so make sure the kids who work there pack it down well, as it's sold by the container size not by weight. I hadn't had Hershey's ice cream since I was a little girl. I stopped by while in the area to try another spot. The ice cream was as good as I remembered, especially on a hot day. There were a couple of people ahead of me in line, but the wait time was minimal. I'd definitely return when I'm in the area. read more

In general we like this place. They have a variety of flavors and the staff moves people along well. If you love multiple flavors and textures going on in your ice cream this place will probably not disappoint. Our main issue is that they do not have "traditional" flavors (vanilla, strawberry, chocolate) - which some in our group prefer - or even many tamer concoctions (two flavor blends). Because of this, we don't come here very often and when we do one or more people in our group may not even order anything. read more

We purchased ice cream Saturday night around 8:45. Sat down at a table and there were three other families inside. At 9:02, the employee came out from the back and stated "Sorry folks, we just closed and you're going to need to leave". We were literally still eating the ice cream we purchased. This place was on the way back home for me and I decided to try it out. The workers were super friendly and I loved the atmosphere. The tables were so cool because they have games on them. There were tables with checkers/chess then some other tables had connect 4. Not only that, but they had print outs of ice cream and crayon for little kids. There were over 10 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Not only did they have ice cream hut Italian ice and what not. I chose my favorite ice cream, which i can rarely ever find, Superman. Definitely would visit again when I get the chance. Update (03/28/18) Decided to stop in and get some ice cream while passing by. I was kind of sad that they didn't have my Superman Ice cream but they had a new one call magical unicorn and that one was pretty good! It was sweet but had sour bits of chocolate in it. This local establishment opened March 24, 2012. I just noticed it while driving by on my way to Taylorsville. Of course, I had to stop by on the way back and was not disappointed. I stumbled across black cherry ice cream. This is a flavor from way back in the day when there were just 12 or so flavors. It was a absolutely delicious! I should not have had it, but i couldn't help myself after a taste. This brought back fond memories of having ice cream with Mom. After describing the experience to her on the phone, she said she could taste it! She is looking forward to another trip to NC. In any case, I am going to stop by Cookies N Cream again today but I may be strong enough to leave with just another 'taste' of the black cherry and no more. However, I sincerely and enthusiastically look forward to another serving of this wonderful ice cream flavor. Back to the restaurant, they have a few tables with checkers built into the tabletop. These were primarily occupied by the kids. There were plenty of other tables available but we chose to sit in the high stools and look out of the window. This is a nice establishment and the staff members were kind and accommodating. The owners said they wanted to open a local ice cream parlor and they have accomplished that task. There was a steady flow of customers as well. You won't be disappointed as they have numerous flavors of fresh ice cream; something to suit even the pickiest eater (crazy vanilla)! read more

A friend of mine introduced me to this place last weekend and I already want to go back. All the way out in Denver its a little bit of a drive for some, but with the quantity and quality of flavors they have to offer I think its worth the trip. Seriously, its a lot of flavors. Their about page says they have upwards of 60 flavors of Ice Cream at any one time and over 100 varieties of shaved ice. There are around a dozen different cones and cups to put said frozen treats in as well. Lots of options. Now seeing as I had just come from having barbecue for lunch (thank you Two Sons) I only tried one flavor, but the consensus between myself and my friends was that everything we tried was good. I personally got the Mint Chocolate Chip Moose Tracks. It was honestly a little odd chomping on a mini peanut butter cup in otherwise minty ice cream but after the first bite it really all started to blend together. The chocolate chips, chocolate fudge swirl and the chocolate on the mini peanut butter cups were all distinctly different tastes that kind of turned into a cascade of delicious chocolate of flavor. I believe the other flavors tasted by my party were regular Mint Chocolate Chip, Pistachio and Butter Pecan and again, all of them got the seal of approval. Getting away from the ice cream itself for just a moment, this is a big restaurant. Tons of seating all the way back and they even have some board games set up to keep the kiddies occupied. Or you know, just to enjoy yourself, we're all kids at heart right? The tables themselves were pretty clean but the games had admittedly seen better days, just something to keep in mind. Prices are affordable and the staff seem pretty friendly too. Overall a very enjoyable visit. I'm not up in the area too often but I will certainly try to stop in when I am. read more

So many flavors! Really I recommend going here to have ice cream. They also have smoothies, milkshakes, snowballs, popcorn, and more! They are all deliciously made!
