This place is such a vibe!!!! Came here to drink. The atmosphere was super cute. My friends were saying the decorations reminded them of Tulum. The music was bomb. They played R&B music that you would hear in the states. Lights were dimly lit. Perfect for date night or just a fun girls night out. Frenetico: 4/5 some drink with egg froth. Drink was kinda sweet. Toronja: 5/5 some drink with salt on the rim. The drink was super good and slightly sweet. Pretty balanced. Location is great and is near all the other drinking and party spots. read more

Came here on a Sunday night and there was live music! It was so fun and had a great atmosphere. Their drinks are also yummy! I loved the "improved hurricane" it has captain Morgan and they actually use a passion fruit! Loved it. The bartender also gave us a nice display with flames! read more

We found this place by chance and walked in because it seemed like a cool vibe... and boy were we right! This place has great cocktails, a great menu and great music. Modern atmosphere and very good music for this place which breaks from the mostly homogeneous offer of trastevere. I haven't tried the Mexican dishes, but rolls very tasty and inventive (although not all combinations are convincing). Mexcal goes surprisingly well with sushi! read more

This review is based on the bar alone and not the food. It's an interesting concept and still trying to figure out how the name matches up with the food/drinks?!?!? In any case, everyone who works here is extremely friendly. I was kinda hesitant because literally everyone inside looks like a fashion model, which I am not... but like I said the crowd and employees are all very chill and nice. You can walk up to the little register at the end of the bar to purchase your drinks and then hand your receipt to the bartender for him to make. I found it a bit odd, but "when in Rome". I didn't order cocktails but the wine selection is great and our bartender was kind enough to suggest a few to me. This place was so great, we came back the next night for after dinner drinks. read more

The meal was excellent. Our waiter was fantastic. The Mexican and sushi is a unique combination that was awesome. I thought I was in New York City in this restaurant. Great change from the pasta and pizza everywhere else. read more

I'm a sushi lover. I've had sushi in many many USA states and many different countries. I've had sushi in small little hidden shops as well as famous high end sushi. I haven't been to Japan so I can't compare to the sushi-mother-land yet, but this restaurant had the best sushi I've ever had. Our favorites of the night were the Salmon Nigiri and the tuna roll called the Taharaa Roll. So delicious. So sad this isn't around the corner from me back home. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. After entering, sitting at bar and ordering cocktails, both the doorman and manager approached us and asked to leave because of our "flip flops". Let's be clear...Dsquared gladiator sandals are not "flip flops". The "doorman" was an impish twit with dirty jeans and t-shirt and the "manager" looked as though a bird had built a nest and laid eggs in his disgusting beard. I almost laughed in their faces, but they never would have understood anyway. If you want something chic and trendy, go back across the river to Le Stravinskej Bar at Hotel de Russie where fashion is appreciated and the crowd is ultra beautiful. Coffee Pot is the epitome of terrible service. And why is it called Coffee Pot anyway?? read more

After seeing the menu for this place online, I was pumped to try it out. The flavours of the menu are genius, bringing together South East Asian and Mexican cuisines over a mutual love of chilli, coriander and lime. Unfortunately the inspiration for the menu and its execution are miles apart. The only dish worth mentioning was the yellowtail and lychee tartar, the rest was bland and flimsy. Not to mention the fact that we had almost finished our bottle of wine by the time our food arrived, almost an hour after ordering. The service was friendly and polite, when it showed up. We were not the only table around us who had to have items taken off the bill for not arriving at the table. A great idea for a place - unfortunately it doesn't deliver. read more

Sushi was good -- we were ready for some variety! A lot of mayo in their sushi, but we managed to order all of the ones without mayo. The drinks were what was really amazing. Cool atmosphere, too. All in all, super fun. read more

I am splitting the difference and giving this restaurant 3 stars. The decor is enjoyable. The sushi selection is quite good with some unique flavor combinations that you don't find at traditional sushi. The service was attentive by Italian standards. All great up to this point. Then they changed the music... To loud hard core rap. What I mean by hard core is that every other word was f-this or f-that with some S$&t thrown in. We were there with our two teenage daughters. When the rapper went on and on about how we enjoyed his foot sized dick in our mouths my husband was not thrilled to say the least. We could 't tell if they were purposefully trying to push us out or if this was the preferred ambiance. We don't hate rap. It was the particular lyrics of several songs in a row that got to us. (Did I mention we were sitting right under the speaker). It's too bad as we were really attracted to the place up until then. We didn't say anything or give away how much we hated it.
