Those reviews helped us decide on this place to eat. My wife and I needed a break from all the pizza, and pasta. Luckily we found this gem near the Vatican Museum through Yelp, which is minutes away, and really close to our Best Western Spring House hotel. We were expecting decent food, as it was a change of pace, but I was thoroughly blown away by how flavorful the food was. I've had a lot of Thai food in NYC, which doesn't make me an expert on Thai food by any means, but does help give context in explaining my rating. Everything was top notch. We ordered the sampler to start off, beef masaman, and pineapple fried rice with chicken as our main course. The sampler came with a beef skewer, a chicken skewer, mango and papaya salad, 2 shrimp rolls, a spring roll, a fish ball, and a shrimp donut. Everything was seasoned well and had great flavor. My wife and I both couldn't really pick one thing we liked the most. It's usually pretty easy for us to pick, but the consistency of the quality, and different flavors made it hard to decide. Hats off to the fantastic chefs in the back. The pineapple fried rice was flavorful, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The peas didn't taste frozen, nor did the cashews tasted stale. You'll be surprised how many places screw this up for such a simple dish. This dish was really good with the beef and masaman. The beef and masaman was the best dish for our main course. The curry was not too hot spice-wise, had flavor blended with the coconut milk, and worked well with the beef, potatoes, and pineapple. White rice was also ordered to help soak up the curry. Needless to say my wife and I ate everything. For dessert we had the rice balls with black sesame. It came out hot so the sesame was oozing out of the rice ball when we dug in. The slight hint of sweetness worked well with countering all the savory flavors we had from the main course. You could make out all the distinct flavors of rice, coconut, black sesame, and chocolate that the restaurant used to garnish the dish. We finished everything and was impressed by the attentive service of the wait staff, and the quality of the food. This is a place I will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rome.

Since we were in Rome and had our fair share of pizza and pasta we decided to try this restaurant. The first thing I noticed was how cute the restaurant was. We sat in a booth that had pillows for your back, I feel like every restaurant should have this. I will admit that from the outside this restaurant does not look like anything special. We arrived around 9:30 PM in the middle of the week and there was only a couple of other guests dining. I ordered vegetable Thai fried rice. It should be noted that this is my go to Thai dish whenever we eat out. The dish is so simple, so if someone messes it up I'm deeply concerned. Unfortunately for me this restaurant messed it up. My fried rice was yellow, extremely yellow in color. It also tasted nothing like Thai fried rice. I honestly think that they added yellow curry paste, that would be the only way for that taste and color to happen. I was disappointed with my meal, especially the portion size. You get a lot of food when dining in Rome, I did not get a lot here. However; my meal was about eight dollars so maybe I should take that into consideration. I wouldn't consider this place to be authentic Thai food, maybe a well welcomed break from pizza and pasta but not typical Thai food that's for sure.

We went inside and noticed they had a conveyor belt of sushi going and regular tables surrounding it. We didn't know if we should sit down by the conveyor belt or at a separate table. I just told the waitress we were interested in the all you can eat option. So we decided to sit at the conveyor belt and started grabbing sushi off the belt. Once we downed a few plates, we noticed there were colored plates on the wall with $3, $4, $5, and $6 Euros marked on them. We then noticed there was a menu you could order off of to. We got very confused at this point and the wait staff were not clearing our colored plates from the conveyor belt. They just cleared everything else. With a very confused look on my face, I summoned a waiter over to ask him what the deal was. He just said it was all you can eat and didn't explain about the pricing for the colored plates. The rolls were of average typical AYCE sushi quality. The sashimi was of decent quality. Great tempura. We left stuffed and paid the bill of $45 euros and left. Oh, and btw, they only allow you to have 1 dessert from their all you can eat menu...weird.
