It was like like drinking warm milk. Not hot, how I want, but warm milk, yuck! Making a sweetened hot matcha latte is not an easy skill. But this was the worst. Why am I so annoyed? Because I skipped going to Starbucks to support local. So I would've had a good matcha latte, but instead, got in my car, took a sip and cursed. Anyhow, aside from the terrible matcha latte, the space is adorable. 2 stories, lots of options for seating and huge outdoor space. You can choose from chairs on the porch, to chairs in the "garden" area. The coffee aroma was vibrant and the staff was nice. Many people were there in groups, pairs, and solo. So it's a place for all. I won't go back because I have PTSD from the terrible matcha latte. But it's a cute venue and if you like dogs or have a dog, it's dedicated to dogs.

We have not tried the shaved ice. Frozen empanadas are also available to take with you and eat at home! LOGISTICS The parking lot is tiny, but the traffic in the area is usually not too much trouble. We've visited twice, and each time we've been, they have their large TV playing, which is thoroughly distracting to my 4-year-old kids. We have easily been able to take our food home with us or go to a local park, but this is something that I have to keep in mind when I plan to visit - we aren't able to dine in because of the television. The staff has always been friendly, and I love supporting this small business. I love seeing the different foods from different places of the world together in one place, and I love having the authentic Peruvian empanadas so close by to home!
