They take an underutilized kitchen such as one at a church and put it to good use during off hours. It's such a wonderful idea to not be wasteful with space and I'm sure it keeps the food prices low. Don't expect like a fancy fast casual place that spends way too much money on their space, but they do a perfect job with what they got. It is located in the Westend of Atlanta. We went on a Saturday and I believe there was about 5 food trucks along with a dj. They also have plenary of parking. There's a lot directly behind them for parking, as well as I noticed parking on the side where people could park. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Triton Yards is family friendly. While there was a dj, the music was good and appropriate for all present. There is a green space out there with games for the kids like big jenga, as well as a fire pit for s'mores when the sun sets. They sell a s'mores kit for $3 which isn't bad. I also liked the fact that they have a drink shack with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I really love that there is something like this in the African American community! I think that it gives those who live in and around the community a safe place to have fun and experience other minority small businesses that they can support. In following them on social media, I've noticed they also provide other events like wellness Wednesdays (yoga) and sip and paints. I know I'll be back because there's a number of other places I'd like to try and I love the fact that they support and provide a nice space for African Americans, as well as others to experience.
