this was such a good experience. i ordered a Frappuccino which was very good, but he also offered to add a sweet flavored syrup, which made it perfect. Excellent pumpkin muffin. Only stopped here for a quick coffee to go, but it's a great spot. Located inside the general store there isn't much of an ambiance... but who cares? The employees were friendly and fast, and there's a HUGE selection of beverages and flavors to choose from. My iced salted caramel latte was delicious, and just what I needed to get me to the airport. read more

The typical coffee shop on Sanibel isn't, at first glance, much of a thing. There are a handful of places (all inside other establishments except one, the Sanibel Bean) and hours all vary greatly. Finding the Bailey's Coffee Bar was a solid find for three reasons. 1) Great coffee, hands down 2) The price is the best on the island ($7.42 for a large and a medium iced Americanos with flavor and cream) 3) They are open later than the other places. The ones to choose from are Sanibel Bean (hours are sporadic and usually close about 2p when they are open), Jerry's (closes at 4p), Bailey's Coffee Bar, Joey's Custard (closed on Sunday), and Island Cow's bar (great place so the bar line is usually a few deep). Tricky to find for the first time until you learn it is inside the larger grocery and hardware store. The barista was super friendly but my latte was scalding hot and I didn't really have time to have it remade, but I'd go back for sure and just ask them to make it around 160 degrees. read more

Yummy good coffee bar in this older Sanibel Island store. It's a market with pre made foods, deli, beach wear and beach "things" A very good market with a Great coffee bar. They have almond and soy milk too. This is a great little place that has amazing coffee. I had the latte with Ghirardelli chocolate and almond milk. Dang that was good y'all!! my lovely wife, partner in crime, and woman extraordinaire had a revaluation latte with milk. She is already sweet enough and no further sweeting needed. honey, did I do good with that line? That should be good for one get of the dog house free card. Hey, this place is good! I even purchased a homemade pink cupcake, with a creamy good frosting and pink ribbon on top. Much to our surprise was a small amount (perfect amount really) strawberry jelly/jam inside. How does this place not have better reviews?! We tried every coffee shop on Sanibel and this was far and above the best coffee we had! The staff alone made the experience because they were all so fun and friendly, I ordered an iced white mocha and practically inhaled the thing! Happy and caffeinated! read more

My coffee needs are simple: two shots of espresso topped with boiled water. Yes, a double-shot Americano -- to go, please. Being a denizen of Sanibel, and sporting a severe caffeine addiction, I made a point of biking to all the places on Island that offer double-shot Americanos to go: Sanibel Bean, Sanibel Deli, the coffee bar at Jerry's grocery store, the dearly departed Rosie's, the not-so-dearly departed Bennett's, the revolving door of espresso-and-gelato shops that can't seem to survive at the Tahitian Gardens shopping mall. You get the picture. My findings: Bailey's Coffee Bar serves the best double-shot espresso, at the lowest price, with the friendliest service. With a hardware store, a bakery, a grocery store, and a liquor store right there on premise, opportunities for multi-tasking abound. Excellent coffee at an excellent price. Bailey's. read more

Latte tasted bad. Might have been because milk was boiled for some time before added to espresso. Tastes burnt and temperature of coffee was approximately as hot as the sun. Took 30 minutes before i could take a sip. Will not be back. read more

Ok, I know this sounds weird, but I had exceptional service here while ordering for a latte on two different occasions. The reason I'm surprised is because it's just a coffee bar run by young people in their teens/early 20s, so the expectation is of lackluster service. However, both times I was greeted with a smiling "good morning", and when my drink was finished, both times the lid for the straws was lifted for me. I just thought that was a nice and friendly touch. As for the coffee itself, I like dark, strong, bold coffees and that's exactly what was brewed here for my lattes. Additionally, they offer almond milk. Yum! That's such a great alternative to milk or soy (which are also offered, of course). When in Sanibel, I see no reason to stop anywhere else for your morning latte (they close at 5pm, so keep that in mind even though Bailey's is open until 9pm). read more

Great coffee!!! We stayed on Fort Myers beach for our first 3 days of vacation and went to a couple different coffee shops.. This place beats all within a hundred miles. I have a large vanilla latte with 3 shots of espresso.... this is their standard. My wife has decaf latte with soy. This is our place from now on!! read more

The latte I ordered tasted terrible, like burnt espresso. My mom and sister ordered different drinks, and they were a little better. The raspberry danish was very good, but the women working were not too friendly. read more
