Love!!! This is such a cute spot! Yes, they serve ice cream, but they also sell refreshing drinks and coffees. Their sundaes look incredible! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and allowed as many samples as we want until we pick our flavors. They had a terrific assortment of flavors to choose from. It was a delight to the palate! Come visit Magic Bus! Such a sweet delight!
Awesome place!! The theming inside is so much fun, it's literally a magic bus, haha. They also have lots of fun merch and candy. You'll find ice cream, shakes, and plenty of sweets, including homemade pies. We actually came for the coffee, and they have a huge selection of specialty lattes, cold brew, espresso, and more. It's not just a dessert spot, it's definitely great for craft coffee, too! My gingerbread latte was delicious!
What a fun, cool place; my daughter absolutely loved the decor and couldn't decide what to order because there were so many great choices. It looked like there were many vegan options from smoothies to lattes to sorbet (which I think was dairy-free). I ordered the Tropical Sunset smoothie which had pineapple, mango, banana, orange juice, and agave (there may have been one more fruit). It was a little watery and the flavor was a little bitter; it seemed the pineapple maybe wasn't ripe. The staff were wonderful; they kept the crowd moving and were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of seating outside. I did notice though that the garbage bin was heaped and overflowing with trash. Overall, this is a great place to visit when on Sanibel island!
Quick ice cream stop after long Beach day. I got the banana boat $14. Black cherry, birthday cake, and otnage swirl. My wife got dark midnight Carmel 2 scoop. Both were great. It was the end of the night and there was a long line but they kept it moving. Clean inside. Helpful staff.
We weren't impressed with the vibe here it seemed a little sterile. Lots of gifts tho. Left with an ornament, small discount from our hotel partner program with card. Staff seemed unwelcoming, no greeting, they were kinda talking with themselves ... asked about birthday specials like Ben & Jerry's does but they have none. Non dairy flavors were lemon or raspberry sorbet, nothing really special, no flavor samples offered. Left with no bday ice cream :( completely underwhelmed. Bf thought this was a waste of time and commented staff seemed rude ... must have been a case of the mondays!
My grandbabies and I just adored this ice cream shop. It was such a cute shop, there was pretty decor! There were many ice cream flavors (I went with key lime pie), along with cute smoothie choices, many yummy looking baked goods (including homemade pies) and different sundae flavors (the key lime pie sundae looked good!). There was cute outdoor seating and indoor options too. The gal who scooped our ice cream was nice and there was a bit of a line but it went quickly. You should definitely stop by after a Sanibel beach day!
Super tasty brownie ice cream served by a nice young lady. Nice sized shop, not cramped. Did not stink like milk under the appliances, was fresh as a daisy.
We come to Sanibel every year. I bring my wife for ice cream but I boycott them since they don't offer a military discount. As a disabled 4-year Iraqi war veteran I was really peeved to see them having the US flag hanging upside down with a large hole in it where the top grommet had ripped a hole in the flag on Memorial Day eve. I was utterly disgusted by their disrespect for the US flag and those who died for it. I would hope that all veterans boycott this worthless dump.

My family and I have gotten pastries, drinks, and ice cream from here and they are always so delicious. Yesterday I tried the Watermelon Hibiscus Sipper with lemonade and OMG I was in love and have found my new favorite drink!!!
What an amazing place to find. I love the magic bus. I love the who. With that being said this is a great ice cream. Sweet treat kind of a place. We all had ice cream and it was wonderful. Very creamy very good ice cream. We all took pictures in the VW micro bus. Even the bathrooms are decorated towards the theme. I hope you go. I'll be back soon.
We got Açaí and it was so yummy, staff was friendly and they zipped through the long line. Prices are a bit high but it's an island so they were reasonable. Cute little spot def recommend stopping if you can
I ordered a Carmel macchiato here and I really had low expectations because it is primarily an ice cream shop. I was blown away. This was the best caramel macchiato I have ever had. The ice cream was really good. The vibe in the shop was fun and I loved the bus!

Loved our visit to the Magic Bus on Sanibel. Super cute VW bug pics here. Lots of fun sweets, ice cream, drinks, coffee, candy. This is newer since we last visited and it's closer to the Lighthouse beach. Super welcoming and friendly here and free easy parking. read more

Since Wickies owns The Magic Bus Ice Cream right next door, we skipped Wickies' desserts and came over here for ice cream instead. And as a bonus, you get 10% off your ice cream purchase when you dine at Wickies. Great! The Magic Bus has taken over the previous Pinocchio's Ice Cream space (Pinocchio's moved to The Periwinkle Shops on Periwinkle Way). These folks here offer a nice variety of flavors along with Sanibel-themed souvenirs. Hubs ordered the butter pecan with chocolate syrup and I ordered a waffle bowl with one scoop each of strawberry and chocolate. The guy helping us mentioned it was his first day and while I totally understand everyone has to start somewhere, he seemed a bit frazzled. Unfortunately, the ice cream was a disappointment. After spending $21, both of us ended up throwing our ice cream away. Both of my scoops tasted freezer-burned and the butter pecan didn't really taste like butter pecan at all. Maybe we just got a bad batch- but why the 4+1/2 stars though? read more

We were so thrilled to have found this gem on Sanibel! Exceptional service, great flavors to choose from and all at super reasonable prices. We got the Beach Bucket which had 5 scoops of ice cream, plus you got to keep the bucket, shovel, sunglasses and candy, all for $20. It was the perfect, unique stop while we biked the island with our two kids. read more
