They explained that they were short on staff but the manager was doing screen work. No problem that it might take a couple weeks. After 2 weeks they called "it's ready." The "brush edge" that keeps bugs out was on the WRONG SIDE!" Ok, I'm patient... a little over a week later I returned and picked it up. I was having MAJOR issues mounting the door.... I suddenly realized the "brush" was installed facing the WRONG WAY! I took it into the store and explained to the manager that he installed the brush facing the OUTSIDE Instead of facing inside. "Well, I GUESS I can fix it right now." He said, OBVIOUSLY annoyed. 5 minutes later he came out, handed me the door.... NOT A WORD! Turned around and walked away from me! HE screwed up! With tax I paid $23. I'm sorry to say this particular ACE just lost a new customer!

The lady who i found out later is the manager was down an isle where she seen me standing patiently for at least 5 minutes. As she came out to me another employee was walking up with another customer. Before she acknowledged them she greeted me with"has one of the guys helped you yet?" I clearly said no. Then the employee said something and without saying anything else she walked away to help him. My 5 minutes patiently meant nothing. I assumed the other employee may have helped me but he followed them. 2 people helping 1 customer when I was waiting patiently to spend almost $3000. Regardless I am shopping elsewhere for sure for now on. Oh by the way when I complained she said she thought I said no to her question which I did but she said her question was do you need any help? Clearly wasn't what she said. And I was standing there for 5 minutes or more facing behind the counter. Noone that doesn't need help stands there looking aimlessly at nothing.

I never noticed the huge sign in the window that sales open to the public until yesterday. So I stopped in and what a sight it is. They have everything! What a great place. Not only does it have items for those in the restaurant business, but it truly has items for the everyday person. For example, if you are feeding a large group during the holidays and you are struggling with not having a large enough pot to boil the water. Or if you need a way to keep warm or serve a large portion of food. I know that Restaurant Equippers has something on hand that can make your night of hosting easier. The employee that found me wondering and lost was so quick to offer guidance. He walked me to the area I was looking for and then offered to carry my items for me. I walked out amazed at how cool the Restaurant Equippers store is. What a hidden gem.
