We fed the three of us for under $20. It's a grocery store and more. Deli sandwiches and different Amish snacks, baked goods and candies. We bought a few jarred items, fresh bread, cheese and a German bologna that I absolutely love. The deli sandwiches were very good....but reasonable! The parking is a bit tricky and crowded. The owners are very gracious and inviting. This alone makes the trip worth taking! 04/25

It's in the heart of town, near their church, not too far from their house. So today when I was in town and needed a couple of things, and knew it was around the corner, I stopped in. Doesn't seem very different. Pretty plain exterior, big parking lot (along two sides.) Friendly, helpful staff. Prices weren't bad, for the current era anyway. I found what I needed and something else I'd been thinking about. Selection isn't as huge as at a bigger store, of course, but there were plenty of options. Deli counter was getting a steady stream on a Saturday. Obviously there's a nostalgia factor for me, but having this not far from home would be great, rather than running out to the edge of town to go to a bigger, busier store.

She hollered back that they had a waitlist. So we went up to the counter to add our names to the waitlist. While standing at the counter, two separate groups of two walked in and took the two available tables. The same lady at the counter then said "Oh you can take an available table." What? We just lost two other tables for your imaginary wait list! She said "We just needed to clean off the tables, you can sit anywhere." We both ordered the Shrimp Bento Box which came with soup and a salad. What's strange is only one of our plates came with fried vegetables. Decent food, small town feel, just not a good impression.

Got the Cambrian Croissant Breakfast sandwich this time having loved the Playhouse Pretzel Sandwich the first time. Bacon instead of sausage with the croissant. We stopped in for an early lunch, which they serve all day. Everything on the menu looked delicious and prices are reasonable. I had a bowl of the chicken and rice soup. The soup was thick and creamy with lots of vegetables and delicious. My husband loved the Club Sandwich which was packed with ham, bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato. Service was a bit confusing as one of the clerks told me to sit down and brought a menu. But she never came back to take our order and we figured out we had to go up to the counter to order. I guess the regulars know this. The place is popular, there's a line to order and most tables full. They have a nice patio out back with tables. Inside, there are about 15 tables. It gets loud inside when they are full. They sell their locally roasted coffee in the shop along with other coffee related gifts. There is street parking out front and a handicapped access at the rear entrance.
