Normally this review would be a 5 star but the appetizers that we chose were not exciting and just okay. I expected something different than what we received with the buffalo cauliflower. The dish was roasted cauliflower tossed with buffalo sauce and balsamic glaze and a white sauce that was tasty. I guess I assumed they would have been battered and deep fried. But I guess it save me some calories. The peppers were good but didn't rock our socks off. The main entrees were great and my Pork Chop served at medium temperature was so juicy and delicious. As for being called a tomahawk? No. It was more like the elbow of an airline chicken; however this is still the best tasting PorkChop in the area. No desserts for us and we will see you next time 91. It was also great to see lots of my fellow Glenmoor neighbors inside.

We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were a bit more on the "fried" side than the tomato flavor coming through, but still very tasty and I'd order them again. I had the scallop special with rice pilaf, and they were hands down the most tender scallops I've had in years. My wife had the pork cutlets, which were excellent. Between the atmosphere, food, and friendly staff, we left full and happy--no leftovers here!

I had the Pork Chop dinner each time. The chops were OUTSTANING! each night. They were grilled to the proper temperature both times. The chops were, I am guessing, between 12-16 ounces and served with your choice of 2 sides. In addition, the service was excellent and the price was quite reasonable! While I was there, I looked at the entire menu. They offer a great variety of foods from Burgers and salads to dinner entres. In addition, they have daily specials at extremely reasonable prices like a 1/2 pound burger on Sundays for $7.00!! If you have never been to Morrie's, I highly suggest you give them a try. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Morrie's, I will be back this coming Tuesday night!
