We were planning to go out to dinner and it was already 7:30 PM and I wanted to head home after. I was in full cosplay and looked like a freak I'm sure, but triple AAA updated me that they would take 80 minutes to get there. I was annoyed, but then it quickly went down to only like 20 minutes, enough for me to eat a little bit at the local restaurant and then walk back to the structure just as the towing company got there. Despite it being a small and crowded tight parking structure with lots of people leaving and going, Philip was super patient, helpful and went back and forth from my car to his truck to move it when people had to leave. He checked the battery life and jumped it. Sadly, there was only like 4% of battery life left. He could change the battery for me and I'd get warranty on it too. I did the price comparison on Google and with the labor and new battery and the quickness and convenience it was truly worth it since every where else would take longer and cost more and then I would not even be able to go to the convention afterwards. I chose to change my battery then and there and it didn't take too long either. Philip was courteous and informative too with all of my simple questions. I just had to change the clock and radio stations after, but now my car is good to go! I was being a doom pilled pessimismcel so I'm glad this went super smoothly and reduced all of the panic and stress that I had.

Backstory: had brakes previously replaced at Euro Car Masters (AVOID THEM) only to have my brakes squeaking again. After waiting all day for an oil change, was told the rotors were scored and the pads were wrong and my brake fluid was shot. They replaced the brakes unDer warranty and I paid for the brake fluid replacement. Another entire day lost. A week later, my manual clutch feels spongy. Maybe its just me I thought...until tonight (saturday), and my 2020 124 spider wont go into gear. Ai told me there was likely an air bubble in the brake/clutch fluid. Ofc the shop isnt open until monday. Frantically i called mobile mechanics to bleed my slave cylinder. Jeremy texted me back immediately after missing my call to confirm he could do it. An hour or so later, he bled the system but only half the gears worked. He then suspected a linkage misalignment, and broke down the console to realign it manually. Half hour later, all gears worked. 2 for 2 in less time than my oil change took at the other hellhole. Jeremy saved me thousands because another shop would have replaced my clutch, then the entire transmission, and potentially STILL miss the bleed and linkage. When I realized it wasn't what I ordered, they said "it can still be used." Seriously, if you don't have the product I asked for, you should tell me upfront instead of quietly giving me something inferior. This is a trust and integrity issue. When I pointed this out, they accused me of "overthinking." Just because you think less than others doesn't mean a reasonable person is overthinking. Very disappointing experience.
