My daughter has been going to this school for about a month and I love it. The curriculum is great and i can tell she's learning a lot. My daughter cries when it's time to go home...so they must be doing something right! Lastly, the school administrator are amazing! I visited more schools in the span of a couple of weeks than I can recount. I was focused on finding somewhere that had everything I was looking for, but mainly I wanted to find somewhere with the right atmosphere, which turned out to be more difficult than I ever could have imagined. The things I saw before this school - yikes. This specific location of The Learning Place Preschool was just LOVE at first meet. The facility was sparkling clean and smelled fresh, unlike a lot of others I visited that smelled of bleach to cover up smells. The toys and play equipment were all in great shape and clean unlike others. The kids were so happy too. ALL of the staff was welcoming. Every single one. They were kind and paid attention and they ALL seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with all the kids. Ms Jessica, the Director, answered all of my questions and was incredibly knowledgeable about education and helped to quell a lot of my anxiety. They ALL made the transition for my daughter is gentle and as easy as possible. They prepped me on what to expect and how to best transition her. They stayed with her every step of the way through the tears and made my daughter feel safe and loved. She's now excited to go to school every day and every day is 'the best day ever' when I pick her up. She eats breakfast and lunch there each day and is now eating and enjoying new foods that she refused to try before! The school offers onsite Karate and Dance classes provided by reputable local companies as a super affordable add on option that both my daughter and I love! It's so convenient that she is able to participate during school. The school is also incredibly affordable compared to others and offers so much more for your money. I was shocked in the best of ways. The staff continues to be kind and compassionate every day and I am so grateful! Ms Luisa, Ms Amanda and the director Ms. Jessica are just angels!

Despite his claims he doesn't like it, he has a great time when he is there. I'm very impressed for a few reasons I think are important to share; 1. Casual group classes based on skill level. 2. Family run and very friendly. 3. Staff, particularly the owner (Sensai=teacher) builds the kids and works with them and encourages them. 4. Multiple days so it's not a simple one time a week and it's broken up so the kids get appropriate and palatable instruction they can easily digest. 5. Unlike a lot of activities, it's very much geared toward parents being able to sit and watch the kids during the lesson. If you are going to enroll yourself or children, this is the place,

Then, I saw someone grab a mat and mat towel so I did the same thinking it was included in the $40 per class booking cost. No where in the welcome email or in the app or even the email confirming my booking of the class was it mentioned that I needed to bring my own mat or mat towel. Once I'm inside the room and after being in the heated room for 5 minutes and 1 minute before class I am rudely told I will be charged for both the mat and mat towel (mind you I paid $40 for a drop in class) so I said bo I have a mat and towel in my car so I run to grab it and set up which made me start the class late. No one apologized to me and I felt extremely disregarded the whole time there and will definitely not be back. They hire college students as instructors who have no idea how to teach or even correct form. There is much better heated studios in the area in my opinion.
