They stage their games a little differently and I really appreciate after so many different escape rooms finding something that is unexpected. I would love to sit here and praise a lot off neat things I saw but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone so I will remain vague. Besides the great detail put into making the game amazing I also want to give them a shout out for their well kept waiting room and all the fun puzzles and games they provide to get your mind in gear whilst waiting your turn. To give some context of the situation, yes the play place was double booked by two birthday parties ... with about 30 people each party...Instead of trying to accommodate both parties, the manager of the place had forced us to leave. When it was left up to both parties to have a joint birthday party as to not ruin the experience for our children, the manager continue to be berating and use her on site employees who, by the way, couldn't have been older than 16 each to do her dirty work by trying to kick us out ... irregardless both family shared the space, like good neighbours...we shared in the experience of our children's birthday. ....However, the manager didn't stop there and continued to try to play games by promising returns on deposits for one family, but not the other clearly she was not willing to take a hit to her bottom line. If you are considering booking this appalling place, please be aware of the games the manager plays ... They didn't let us bring sunscreen onto trip, so I had blistering sunburns all session and still have a tan from it two months later. I got sick very early into camp, and I had been repeatedly asking to go home all session as it felt like I had covid. They didn't let me go home until the end of session, and by then everyone else was sick too. To make matters worse, the staff member assigned to our party was called away to a lengthy staff meeting while we were the only party there. We struggled to get water refills when they were most needed. Mara was helpful whenever she was available, but overall the staff seemed unprepared, and no manager came to check on our group or address the situation. What was most disappointing wasn't just the broken AC--it was how the situation was handled. There was no advance warning, no apology from the GM, no effort to mitigate the conditions with fans, complimentary cold drinks, arcade passes, or any other accommodation. Customer safety and satisfaction should have been the priority. We paid a hefty price for a memorable birthday celebration and instead experienced an unsafe and deeply disappointing afternoon. I hope management takes responsibility for how this was handled so other families don't have the same experience.
