Just went here for the first time. I normally went to Hopes Uniform for all of my uniform needs, but I really got tired of their wait time. Everytime I went to Hopes, I would have to wait 3-5 days for my uniform to get tailored. Thats if they actually got it done on time. There has been many occassion when they did not have it ready at their promised time. In hindsight, as I am typing this, I don't know why I put up with Hopes Uniform for so long. Im sure I just stuck with up due to comfortability and familiarity. Well, long story short, I got a hole in my pants, and I needed a new one before I worked on Friday. I decided to check out Code 3 uniforms as I was around the area and heard of the place from coworkers. I found my size instantly, and the front lady guided me to the back to try my pants on. I needed the pants hemmed, and Maria was waiting for me to get it hemmed. Heres the best part... As Maria was finishing up the measurements of the pants, I casually asked when I could pick my pants up. Keep in my mind, with my experience with Hopes, I was expecting 3-5 days turn around time... Maria replied "today if you want..." I paused for a second in confusion. "She must've misheard me" I thought. I nicely repeated the question, and Maria once again replied "Yeah, later today. Of if you're busy, early tomorrow morning." HOLY SMOKES. Same day turn around time? Nice tailor lady named Maria? Good location with decent prices? Wish I found this place earlier. Needless to say, this will be my new go-to uniform shop. read more

Very, very poor customer service. Jerry is the only pleasant person that works at this business, and he is constantly mistreated by the other women that work there. They are so rude to him and their customers. Went in today to see if I could get a shirt made on short notice, and Jerry was doing his best to try and help me. Jerry had to ask for assistance from the Black lady and Mexican lady that were also working, and you would've thought he was asking for their first born kids. They raised their voices at him, and wouldn't even look at him when he was trying to talk to them. I felt so bad for the guy. You could feel and see how much they disrespect him and just use him. They looked visibly irritated and annoyed because he was asking them a question to help a customer. I was so disgusted by their behavior, I left without purchasing anything. I hope Jerry leaves this business soon and stops tolerating the treatment these people give him. This business can care less about their customers, or the service they give them. Thankfully, other uniform shops in town have opened and We don't have to tolerate the poor customer service this place puts out. read more

Today was my second trip into Code 3. I am new to the uniform thing so, needless to say, I needed a lot of help! I read the reviews and even heard some negative comments about this place but went anyways because it's where I was recommended to go. Miesha (spelling?) was the one to help me on both visits and she was so helpful. Aside from her, everyone there was a huge help. I look forward to continuing my business with them! *update* Went back to pick up my uniforms this morning with every intention of purchasing more. Never again!!! Today the staff was rude and had no regard for their customers. You must be consistent and hold your customer needs at a high standard! After all, they pay your bills. read more

Just called to see if they had female class B pants in stock. She told me yes and asked what size I needed. I explained to her I was unsure and need to be fitted. She then said, "well we're in the process of moving right now so everything is in boxes." I asked her how I would go about being fitted if everything is in boxes and she said, "just come by sometime next week, it should be unpacked by then." She was very nonchalant and I'll definitely be taking my business to a more professional, organized place. read more

My order was wrong, I got over charged, the alteration took over 4 weeks always getting told different stories. Never again will I go here and the customer service is rude feel like I am asking them for a favor even though I am paying for what I want. Sorry but I am good Code 3 Uniforms never again! read more

Should not take 2 weeks to place patches on 2 uniforms. Came in the day they told me it would be ready and they still didn't touch my uniforms. They advertise that it takes 5-7 days to patch them. Already been 14 and still not ready. Don't come here for patches. read more

The staff here are really rude. We pulled up to the store and one of the workers was giving us the stare down. It was really odd. I didn't want to believe the poor ratings this place got but our experience was no different from the bad ratings I've seen on here. They said they would call when the uniform was repaired and they didn't. When we tried calling, no one answered. When we arrived, hoping the repair was completed, we got the stare down AND rude customer service. Idk how these people stay in business. read more

Everyone be advised , this place has no customer service . They don't even acknowledge you when you walk in. They're rude and they're wayyyy over priced . Unfortunately they don't accepts any returns or exchanges so I'm stuck with what I bought. I Did some research and I over paid for everything I bought atleast $20 more each item . Stay away from this place . read more

The lady at the counter was and is extremely rude. The sad thing is that they really do put out a quality product and the people behind the scenes really do a good job. I went there initially because I was going into the academy and that is the place my agency recommended. However, since then I have been there on several occasions and every single time the lady behind the counter was consistently rude and wouldn't even look at me when she spoke. It was also obvious that the other employees were extremely afraid of her and the lady would openly disrespect them. I will never go back there and recommend you don't either if respect and courtesy is something you expect when you are spending your hard earned money. read more

Wish they were faster on stitching on patches. Almost 2 weeks to have it done. I kept getting the run around on when my uniform would be ready. Now I've been told they took it to another location and I have to call to see when if it's ready. Shouldn't the people I did business with call and not me? Will not be a returning customer. read more

Every time I have been there I was treated very poorly. They tell you a day to pick up your uniforms and they are never ready. I am so glad Valley uniform is available to us, I got my uniform with patches done within 3 days and the service was great! read more

They moved locations for more space, this store is mainly for uniforms for corrections, sheriff and fire fighters . The customer service was young but good, bathrooms were spotless clean and smelled good! They have utility belts and some boots. Selection is not great but store is clean. Call before you come to make sure they are open owners are away so the store says online that it's closed until they come back to change it online. There is plenty of on the street parking. read more

Lady at the service desk was so rude and unhelpful if your looking for gear or work accessories I would recommend going to JoPro Uniforms on Rosedale. They even got bundles and deals. read more

Poor customer service. I've only been to the Rosedale location. Sometimes they're not even open during their advertised business hours so don't bother stopping by without calling first. read more

Code 3 Uniforms offered fantastic customer service when it came to ordering the pants I needed for my class A uniform. Thanks Code 3!

I can not begin to express how dissatisfied I was in this place I mean it was so bad I wouldn't send my worst enemy here so here is my first experience enjoy I walk in I'm glared at by who I know know is the owner then with attitude says can I help you as she returns her attention Netflix and her cell phone In my head I already didn't like it I walk to the desk and tell the young lady that I need to get my class B uniforms for the CDCR academy as she turns to the owner who is still watching Netflix and said he needs uniforms for the academy she rolls her eyes stops her show and gets up with a fuss asked for my size I said I wasn't sure but if they run bigger then standard shirts I'm probably a small if not I'm a medium she looks at me like I'm stupid and says what size t-shirt do you wear I say I wear a medium she snaps back with then you need a medium because it's all the same thing so thinking she knew what she was talking about I said OK let's try medium gave her my pants size and she's throws them on the desk The young lady looks at her and says he said he needed the class B uniforms she looks at me with anger and said correctional Academy right and I respond yes ma'am she snaps back again with well this is the uniform for the Academy and walks back to the computer sits down in resumes her Netflix Young lady tells me to go ahead and try am on and points me to the changing rooms so I go in there and I put on the shirt and it is huge I'm swimming in the thing pants fit OK but a little bit big so I decide to tell her that I'd like to try small shirt and a pant size smaller with attitude positive her Netflix but not a right away mind you she waited until the good part was over gets up I might not have it rudely says to me I tried on and it fits a lot better so do the pants I walk out and I'm standing there for a good five minutes before she again pauses Netflix and asks the seamstress to come measure for the hymning of the pants so I'm finally done I get to take everything off change back in my clothes walk up to the desk tell her I need patches and blah blah blah blah they check me out tell me it'll be three weeks for them to be done I pay and walk out no thank you or have a nice day just rude silence Ps I was really hoping no stars was an option for this place but yup requires that you give a rating so just know I'm only giving a star because I want people to know how bad this place is read more

Place is so-so..first time in the store the help was no where to be found until the I saw the pro...SABA!! Then everything went accordingly...since then not too happy! Everything I'm looking for is out of stock it seems! Customer service is so so now! How I miss the SABAS! !!!!!! read more

Horrible customer service, no professionalism, nothing is ever in stock, nothing is never on time of the due date for uniforms to be done, it's always days after the initial date of completion. The only uniform shop that I was ever pleased with was VIP uniform. Uniform company's come and go here in Bakersfield and they all seem to be ran the same way. read more

Limited selection. If you wear a common size they most likely don't have it in stock. Left my name and number with the sales person and they never contacted me back about when they would have my size in. I called back after a week and was put on hold for 20 mins before I hung up. Just order your stuff online and save the gas. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. Extremely rude and unpleasant employees. They literally act like their paying customers are an inconvenience out of their day. Besides Jerry, every single time I've been there I've been treated like ****. Now that I've found All American, I will never ever set foot in Code 3. read more

Worst customer service on earth. Never go here. Owner or whoever the lady is that runs the place is very rude to law enforcement and ALWAYS makes it seem like you are burdening her. Trust me, go to All American Uniforms on Stockdale Hwy or the other uniform shop if it's still around. This is fundamentally the worst establishment I've ever given my money to. Cannot emphasize enough how poorly law enforcement is treated here. read more

I've been on the job for 28 years and have been to many uniform shops. I have always had good and honest service at Code 3. The prices are competitive to other uniform shops and are less expensive than in the Bay Area. I found the best prices to be in Long Beach. I've had bad experiences ordering gear over the internet so I will stick with buying locally. I'm sorry that some customers felt like they have had bad service but a uniform shop is a specialty business and the ones I've been to, even back East operated the same way. Sometimes they closed early and sometimes they did not have things in stock or the pickup time was delayed. read more

I love popcorn, and I love the sound of popcorn when it's popping on the stove... but what I don't love is the front girl cashier at Code 3 smacking on her popcorn with her mouth open. She decided to have her popcorn on the counter on a paper towel where everyone purchases their uniforms or puts their uniforms. This rude popcorn eating girl did not greet me, or say anything to me other then the price of what I was going to buy. I wanted to leave but the older gentleman that works there greeted me and thanked me for coming in. Also, this older gentleman advised her of something he was going to do and she rolled her eyes and said "whatever you wanna do" behind his back. It's unfortunate that this place has someone like that working the front. You would think that working with the public, and especially people who work hard in the field of law enforcement that they would have someone better at the front desk. But I don't know the manager, and I don't know their hiring process, or if it's family owned. But what I do know is that not eating, not smacking your food and not greeting a costumer is CUSTOMER 101. There isn't too many places to go for uniforms in Kern County and after the visit I had at this place I will continue to order from online or making my trips to LA to get what I want. read more

I never ever write reviews, but this company is so awful that I felt the need to write one. Been almost a month and I'm STILL waiting for a pair of pants! Kept being lied too by different people working their with different stories on where my pants are. We had the choice of going to either code 3 or All American Uniform, I 100% recommend not going to code 3. Not only is it a horrible service, they are awfully rude. They will never have my business again. I recommend any company but this one. read more

First and last time I come to purchase anything from this store. The lady at the Cashier was very rude. I wanted a certain size uniform pants and she stated she doesn't have them and wasn't planning to order them for me. She walked away and left me standing there. No customer service at all, Horrible attitude. Next time I'll take my money somewhere else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! read more

Just left Code 3 very angry. I brought in a uniform jacket to get patches sewn on. When I called the store they said it would be ready that day around 1630. When I came the next day they informed me that it wouldnt be ready until 4 days later. Then why did they tell me that day or the next? When I brought to their attention the misinformation they just told me what the ticket said. No apology or anything! I understand there are mistakes in business, but when you deny and don't apologize it really upsets me! read more

I bought a new uniform at code three last week. Picked it up Friday, took it home and washed it so I could wear it Sunday. Put the pants on Sunday, they're about 6 inches too short. Took them back yesterday. Today I spoke to the store owner who pretty much called me a liar and said she was not going to make this right. She said there was no code three label in the pants so they couldn't have come from her store. I don't think I've ever seen a code three label in any of my uniforms. I'm going to go pick up my unusable pants and but another pair somewhere else. Code three, this is the LAST time you screw me!!!! read more

These are the laziest people on the face of this earth. I live 120 miles from this store and need a uniform from this store. I called 30 minutes before the store closes and they tell me they are closing soon and are unable to help me and tell me to call the Rosedale store all I need is another same size shirt with patches sown on. I call the Rosedale store and tell me I need to drive in to order my shirt. I will never go to this store ever again. read more

Code 3 is a joke. They are the rudest people i have ever dealt with. The worst customer service. Only buy your uniforms there if you won't them to screw them up and blame it on you. The worst. Oh and by the way....Glen P would say that code 3 goes the extra mile. He's is the owner of that shit show read more

First apearence is everything, when I walked into the store I walked to the counter and described what I needed, the lady continued what she was doing and didn't even look at me.
