My husband and I were so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown during one of the hardest days we've faced. Having our beloved cat Chaussettes peacefully cared for at home made an incredibly difficult goodbye much more gentle and comforting. Dr. April was patient, respectful, and truly caring throughout the entire process. She answered all our questions and let us proceed at our own pace. We couldn't have asked for a more compassionate experience, and we will always be thankful for the dignity and peace she provided for our sweet furbaby.

    Fancy

Dr LeBlanc - I couldn't say thank you more. You were extremely humble and sweet. You're the perfect person for the job you do. My family was so thankful for your kind words and gentle nature. Fancy was a fixture in our lives for 18 years - a very sweet, very feisty old chiweenie. After she stopped being able to stand, walk, eat, on her own, we knew it was time. It was a slow progression and we tried our hardest hoping it was just an illness...every two hours for weeks and weeks and weeks. Special foods and special beds, special harnesses and special attention - a hole is in our hearts but we're happy our baby isn't suffering any longer. She deserved the best and that's what she got. We shopped around, but everything kept leading us back to Dr LeBlanc...if you need this service, you don't need to look anywhere else. CodaPet is what you need when you need it. We are eternally grateful.

Our beloved Lizzy.our loved buddy and companion

Euthanasia for your beloved best buddy and companion is difficult enough to contemplate and carry through. My fourteen year and four month old female yellow Labrador, Lizzy had reached the end of her life's journey. It was my duty to see that the end for her was without stress and consternation. So I decided upon in home treatment. I'm so very glad Dr Lori Thomas was our CodaPet professional. She made us and our loved pet relaxed. Everything went so dignified and without any troubles. We are Thankful. I recommend this significant service to anyone in their time of need.

Cremation services came with an option to choose a wooden box. I chose the handcarved cedar box.

It was really important to us to be able to bring him ourselves and have that sense of control. I had also heard too many stories of larger operations misplacing pets or losing ashes during transport, which felt unimaginable. Some of the places we spoke to also felt very transactional. It didn't feel like they were meeting us in what was a very real, emotional moment. Restful Pets was completely different from the first call. They were genuinely compassionate. Being local made everything easier, and their turnaround was much faster than what we were quoted elsewhere. It's definitely no-frills, with no big packages or upsells, but that ended up being exactly what we needed. What mattered most was knowing he was close and that we were in control of the process, with someone who treated us with care. That made all the difference.

After the unexpected news at the ER I spent the entire night panicking and calling around 20 different in-home services with no sleep, terrified I wouldn't be able to give him the peaceful goodbye he deserved at home. Although Allied was closed for the weekend, Yuto still returned my emergency call a few hours later. He went above and beyond by providing a referral for an in-home vet visit that allowed me to secure an appointment for the exact same day. Allied Pet Crematory was the #1 place I had set my heart on from the very beginning and they truly lived up to that. Yuto made every step of the process seamless, handled everything with the utmost dignity, and even sacrificed his own office space to allow me time with my Son. The turnaround time was remarkably fast, taking only one day before Shadow was safely back home with me. Going through such a tragic loss is so unbearable for me, it's only been 6 days but the wound is still fresh. The extraordinary level of kindness, empathy, and professionalism I received from Yuto gave me a sense of peace when I needed it most. Thank you Yuto for treating Shadow with such love and respect, and for taking care of both of us. There are really no words and I appreciate everything you did for me to make everything perfect.

As we both began to decline from terminal illness and disabilities, where mine progressing caused my attention to split- This caused further issues for her wellbeing and safety. A traumatic accident resulted, and where I also couldn't rush to her to stop it in time. She survived the tragic fall, and yet her injuries were far too much to add. I had to choose to set her free. Part ways with my other half, and lay my baby to rest. To have an angel of a mobile vet come to us, so Lucy would not need to be in pain and anxiety in a car to a clinic, then scared in a clinic as her final moment, was a huge gift. Then what saved me from full blown drowning after, is finding Pets Rest. Where I could stay with Lucy's remains, and all the way through. This option to witness was a must for me. To never take my eye off of her ever again, even after her passing. This was not something I even knew I could do, until looking into Pets Rest. The got us in very quickly, in just 2 days. The chapel, the grounds, the employees-everyone and everything about this business is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps an example of something I've heard of called "sacred commerce". They're not trying to get rich here. In fact I wonder how they afford to be so fair and generous. Taking no shortcuts, but going the extra miles to create and maintain such a gorgeous heartwarming setting. Giving us plenty of time to grieve and say goodbye, in their Saint Charles Chapel. What I got out of this experience, I'm sure would cost a fortune anywhere in the country. And here this is San Francisco... The operator was so kind, patient, compassionate and very informative. I learned so much from him. He was the best part of my experience with Pets Rest. I always want to drive by when i can, even though I didn't buy a burial plot, I'll always see Pets Rest as where to go to honor Lucy's life. Very blessed for this family business. Thank you,

Pet's Rest did, however, and they didn't overcharge us for witnessing like some others would have. Javier assisted us and was incredibly patient, kind and gentle not only with Hank's body, but with us. You could tell Javier knows what it means to love and be loved by a dog. Pet's Rest allowed us to be there with Hank's body as he was prepared for the cremation, and be there when the door opened afterwards. Javier assisted us as we determined how to best manage Hank's remains. We honestly could not have imagined anyone being more compassionate and professional in light of the very difficult circumstances. We were able to bring Hank's remains home with us that day and transporting him to and from gave us a peace of mind we didn't have with past experiences. We highly recommend Pet's Rest in your greatest time of need and Javier is your man. I'd trust him with my broken heart again.

When I contacted Restful Paws, I didn't know what to expect. In fact, I felt bad crying on the phone because I couldn't imagine trying to talk to someone like me at that moment. But the staff couldn't be more understanding and supportive. Unlike making end of life decisions for your fur baby, the process of scheduling this appointment was very easy. Restful Paws asked all the right questions, set the expectations, and made this process that much easier. And on the day of, Dr. Ami arrived promptly at the scheduled time. She was very caring and understanding, and she put all of us at ease. We could not have asked for a better last day for our Sodapop. I'm thankful that we reached out to restful pause, and grateful that they were able to come to our house to help us get through this phase. Weeks later, we received a card from Dr. Ami sending us her condolences. Thank you, Restful Paws, for doing the service that you do. I'm sure it's not easy, and I can only imagine how sad it is to do this on a daily basis. Thank you so much!

From calling to make an appointment, receiving reminder emails, and day of texts from our vet, each step was handled with so much compassion. We were able to find a weekend availability which was best scenario so everyone could attend. Dr. Vine was very punctual the day of and gave us a thorough breakdown of what to expect (pain reliever, anesthesia, and euthanasia). We didn't feel rushed at any point, and we were given ample time before proceeding to each stage. She was very respectful and the process was smooth. After the euthanasia, we were able to choose where we wanted the fur clippings. The paw print was perfectly imprinted with Christy's name, which added such a sweet personal touch. We chose to pickup Christy's ashes at Sage, and it was quick. The only thing is it felt very jarring going to an animal hospital filled with so many people and dogs. Considering this was only 2 weeks after the euthanasia, I was still grieving and it was difficult being in that environment so soon. The only feedback I'd give is it'd be more mindful if there was a separate pickup location away from everyone else for more privacy. Dr. Vine sent a sympathy card as well and it was very sweet. Thank you so much for giving Christy such a respectful experience and having her pass comfortably and peacefully. I will definitely recommend this organization to loved ones! Thank you Dr. Vine for such a smooth experience. You made this process much easier and we were able to focus on grieving afterwards. Rest in peace, sweet Christy!
