I'm so sad I didn't take any more pictures to show off! Let me start off by saying Andre' communication is amazing! He answered every question, reassured me of on time pick up's and drops even at a last minute when I had to see my surgeon. The food like all other reviews mention is fantastic!! They even have fresh fruit water that I always asked for seconds. If you're hungry in between meals you can ask for a snack, my favorite was Greek yogurt with nuts and fresh fruit and drizzle of honey!! They do have three room upstairs and three rooms downstairs. They have a chair that will take you up the stairs if you're unable to walk. Upstairs is where their in house masseuse is Neri I believe she does have packages and is super sweet and gentle! There's a bathroom in each room and they are all very spacious so you never felt cramped. They do have windows and access to a patio area so natural sunlight is perfect. They do offer pedicures, IV drops, facials and lots more they will ask you when you arrive if you would like to purchase anything. They do have street parking but it's at your own risk. Never felt unsafe since they do have alarms all over the house. They do have a living room area upstairs and downstairs in case you're tired of being in your room. Everyone gets their own personal button to call for assistance When you first arrive there's a nurse waiting for you to assist you in getting out of the car, they will walk you to your room, ask you how you're doing. They will take you to your room and help you change since most patients are draining or have been in the same garments for the whole day. They will assist in you laying down. They have stepping stools, stroller thingies, extra blanket, pillows and even boopy pillows if needed. The nurse will than come take your vitals and any meds prescribed and start to go over the time frames of the medicine some are taken in 8hr increments and they don't want to wake you if you prefer to have them before you sleep. The nurse will ask for any allergies or preference on food be specific because they cook alittle of everything. I recommend buying your meds here since it was cheaper paid around 160 for my initial meds but everyone is different and you're able to pay USD, pesos or card. They do give you a sleeping pill which works amazing if you need one. I was in a shared room and didn't have issues. They will ask you if you want to showers or change and don't be shy to ask for anything else. My nurse even went to buy me a sprite because I felt I needed to burp. So good!! They change your sheets and provide you with the pads,gauzes, disinfectant and pads if needed. The nurses I interacted with were all amazing the main nurses who provided care for me were Lori, Lupita and Kari and they were the reason I extended my stay!! I thought after three days I'd be great but honestly ended up staying three more days. By the time I left I felt good and normal. These nurses were so sweet! So professional never made me feel like I was an inconvenience. They were very knowledgeable. I loved that they always checked my vitals, asked me if I had any pain or wanted tea :) trust me putting that faja on is a struggle!! Hahah LUPITA even brought me some tea from home that helped with my cough!! Love her for that!! Karla who was so sweet, was always driving me around. She would even stay after her shift when my doctor wanted to see me to take me. Had the best convos. Communicated after drop off's to get a time frame and if not available send someone else. Sometimes I had a two hour massage. They are able to drive you to appt for the doctor or any where else but only two times. Anything other than that is 30 and they do charge extra if utilizing Zelle which kinda sucks. Uber is around 9/10 bucks so it's about convenience. If you need it one way it'll be 15 bucks. They end up adding up since some doctors offer massages in their price for surgery so it ends up being expensive. You're able to pay the deposit thru Zelle and I emailed Andre' and was told I could pay the remainder of the balance as well if needed to. The medical pass with them is 40 bucks or 45 thru Zelle. They do provide a tip envelope upon your checkout. Andre even honored a promotion. He had after I decided to extend my stay which is awesome!! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely safe and cared for, which is saying a lot because Tijuana can feel a bit overwhelming at first. They were attentive, kind, and always there when I needed something, no matter the time of day or night. The only thing I wish they had was a nice outdoor seating area to relax in, but honestly, that's such a small thing compared to everything else they offer. When it was time to leave, I literally cried because I felt so at home. The ladies here made me feel like I was part of their family, and I will 100% be coming back for my next stay. I am writing this review on my last night staying here at Cocoon with my husband. I was a little wary of a recovery home in TJ after a surgery... but this place is AMAZING. I am a skeptic by nature and they have proven themselves to be dedicated professionals. They were prompt at pickup from the hospital, kind and compassionate in his time of needs (even in delicate personal positions), and the food is amazing. I was able to stay with him and I am picky and LOVED the food! The food is absolutely incredible. They have no business with food this good..... like legit amazing better than restaurant quality food. All of the staff were amazing! Special thanks to Lorelai who was the most kind, compassionate, and just warm person you could meet. the staff was great thats why they atleast got a star. but let's not talk about the owners customer service. super unprofessional and ungrateful. I was late to my appointment. it was at 230 and got there at 237 by the time I got inside and in the office. And since they told me my new driver would be there at 3 I had to rush my drs after being dropped off 7 mins late. giving the fact that they said she would be there at 3 I ordered an uber to be ready for me at the US side. since all the drive had to do was cross me over with a medical pass. well she doesn't get there until 0330. caused me to lose my uber and get another one. I asked if they were going to pay the uber or if they were going to pay the lady and they said neither. so I had to pay for another uber after losing the first one. And also the room I was in was infested with ants. Had them in everywhere. Even when I would put my clothes back on I had ants crawling inside my faja. Even the staff who work there saw. They helped try getting them out of my faja. And not everything they say on the website is true. They said they feed you up to 3 meals and 2 snacks. That's also a lie they only feed you the 3 meals. I never got a snack I seen the other patients ask the staff to go to the store and buy them snacks. Which I'm sure it's because they also weren't given any. Never again. Surgery process should be stress free and easy especially if your paying. Do not recommend this place. Again the staff was amazing but owners can't own up to there mistakes. read more

I went to Tijuana to get a mommy makeover and my doctor recommended cocoon .As you can see from the pictures, the food was amazing. Everything was delicious. Everything was fresh. The facility was so pretty so clean. The staff was amazing. They make you feel so welcome and so at home. Lupita went above and beyond to take care of me. She showered me she made sure I didn't get my breast wet. She helped me get up out of bed. She helped me use the restroom. I am more than grateful for her. In a time where you feel so helpless because you can barely move or take care of yourself, she made me very comfortable. The Massage Girl neri did a great job. She was so patient even though she knew I was in pain she took her time. Karla was great. She's so nice and so funny and such a big help. Adriana was amazing. I came to Tijuana alone to do 6 procedures and I missed my family but at the same time I'm going to miss staying at cocoon recovery home . I felt like they went above and beyond expectations .They gave me the physical and emotional support I needed .I broke down a few times and they were there for me as well as needing so my physical help , they never complained or made a face like you were nothing them .They were always on time with medication, showered you daily . I was there May 2023 By myself I had surgery with doctor compos. I stayed there for 7 days, so let me start off by saying to ask for Safe box to secure your money ASAP. By the second day that I was there, one of the girls stole money FROM ME. I left to get a message to Dr . campos's office and when I came back I had money missing And it was a couple hundred dollars. I notified andre, who is the owner. They did an investigation, but since there's no cameras in the hallways, they don't know who was the last person who went to my room. They Andre said that maybe I didn't count my money right or that I Was confused because of anesthesia and the medication I was taking . Nothing was resolved at the end of the day. The last thing I wanted to do was fight while going through recovery. I decided to stay since I had no one else. That can take care of me back at home. I had already paid the recover house in full, and I still needed to recover. I felt so uncomfortable. All the girls were gossiping. Asking what happened. I'm now 10 days post op. I arrived to the cocoon the day before surgery per my reservation. Unfortunately due to cocoon mistake my reservation were mixed up. The short time there was very frustrating talking to the ladies was very nice. After about 45 min I get a call from Andre who immediately started with an apology. Then he came with a solution hallelujah. Andre apologize for the mistake and had already set up reservation with another recovery home. He also sent us an escort to guide us over to the new home. We did have some lunch prior to driving over. Mind you I drove from Arizona to Tijuana. Thank you Andre for being proactive. Cocoon Recovery Home, by far has the best care for all of your recovery needs. The house is clean, everymorning they are cleaning common areas, most importantly the bathroom. Meals are prepared fresh, daily, and at your service. All the staff treat you like family! I could not say enough of cocoon and staff! Everyone is amazing and kind. I stayed two night with 24/7 caregivers. The nurses are experienced, caring and knowledgeable. Miriam, who I spent most of the time with was excellent. I honestly wish I would've stayed longer because the treatment was better than the treatment at home LOL. I got took a cocoon a few days after my surgery my experience didnt begin there prior to booking my stay I reached out to Andre and he was very kind and helpful. I had seen the great reviews on this recovery house and I really wanted to stay Andrea was always very fast and replying to my questions. My first day that I got to the house I was greeted with so much care and love that I felt right at home ,being alone without my family they made me feel comfortable and cared for. They help me with my recovery with great food attention and care .Andre and his mother would always reach out to me to make sure I was doing good . I felt very safe in the recovery house. Andre goes above and beyond to help and everything he can he picks you up from the hospital or clinic you're at and takes you to cocoon or to any appointments you have. For me I had to go to an oxygen treatment for my recovery I was very scared and I didn't want to do it alone so Andrea actually got in with me for support at that moment I feel very blessed for this recovery house and for the care that they provide not just by helping you shower feeding youBut being there for you mentally because it's a hard road. I was only here for a few days... as soon as I got here the ladies showed me my room offer me a tea and checked on me offer. It's a very nice house. Food is really yummy! Let me start off by describing how you will feel here like a princess at home. OMG from the the moment you get picked up to every step of the way you feel like if you are royalty. I really love all the love and care that the nursing staff provides along with the director of the home. Everyone is just so amazing caring beyond what I have ever experience. They are constantly trying to help and never never never make you feel like you are asking for to much. I felt like a baby here they will shower you change you feed you and more. I had a mommy make over and I don't know what I would have done if I would have not stayed here. I had never separated from my family, and I never felt home sick at the recovery home.And let me say i was here for more than 2 weeks. This feeling was thanks to all the ladies in this amazing recovery home that had love and care. I 1000% recommended the recovery home you will not regret it :).Forever in my heart ladies thank you. If you're down in TJ getting work done this is the place for you! They went above and beyond my expectations. I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was honestly the best money I could've ever spent. From the friendly 24/7 nursing staff, to the meals and the lymphatic massages preform by Nery. I had such a wonderful time I left with so much sadness but also so much love! I can't even explain the amount of gratitude I have for Cocoon Recovery and it's staff. Having to travel for surgery on my own and knowing that Andre and his staff would take care of not only me but my post op appointments without a worry is the best feeling during recovery. Not to mention the nurses, they are so caring and are always helping with a smile on their face. I stayed for a week I wanted to bring all the staff home with me. They made me feel like I was right at home. Not to mention their food, freshly made juice and nutritional meals are so delicious. Im on my last day here at cocoon and I'm so sad to be leaving. The nurses here are more than nurses they really care about you & made me feel like I was at home. My stay was for 7 days and I wish I could stay longer. There is heating and AC in every room w beds that recline w a button which made my recovery so much easier. They keep the place so clean as well. They were on schedule w my meds day/night. Their service is 24/7 which is so wonderful anything you need you just press a button and they come in your room to help. I'm also vegetarian so they made me separate meals that I'm so grateful for. All the nurses went above and beyond for me to help me recovery. Merab was an angel she made me feel like she was my friend in the short time spent there... they also have a massage therapist Neri who came every day for my lymphatic massages that helped my swelling go down so much. I wish I can take her home w me! Lol gracias por todo a las mujeres que me ayudaron! If I ever have surgery again I am coming back. I will miss them! read more
