They were always available for anything you needed their your . Anytime I a ride somewhere to my they had the waiting for me. Anytime I needed to be fed. There was food there at least six times a day. I've never had such incredible care as this. I felt like I went to heaven I spent so many years raising alone in this time it was my time to get some type of work done for my own benefit sure that I was cared for and loved. They also me shower and bed was always in great shape and comfortable, and I got to have the deepest sleep I've ever had. I didn't even wanna leave. This is your go to place whether you have surgery or not to get some good R&R and you get to meet there that are friendly that are also having surgery and they also have an oxygen if you need to get treatment for that too, and if you need any type of care to get your hand and feet pedicure done, they will call it in and also if you need any type of prescription, they have someone come to you and bring it to you. The BEST: The medical attention was excellent. Lots of staff, doctor on-site, they help with bathing, bandaging, respond quickly to every call for assistance. Always very helpful and cheerful. The WORST: the food is terrible. Your workaround is to bring your own healthy, protein-based snacks. Every meal was cold if not barely tepid. With the exception of one meal out of 15 meals/snacks. Most meals and snacks were not healthy choices. Chicken/pork hot dog with veggie snack chips. Chicken lasagna was downright cold and had a strange overpowering lemony flavor. Snacks could be canned mandarin orange slices or merengues and a cheesecake cube. I had to ask for protein sources in lieu of the served meal. Every time. I'd ask for a simple scrambled egg, it would arrive overcooked and tepid. Otherwise times, substituting wasn't an option being told the kitchen was closed. Recommend ordering delivery. Something that can't be changed and is a con: the street noise at night can be VERY loud. However, Bella is one of the few recovery centers that is a certified medical recovery center. That's a huge selling point for me. I'd stay again and just plan on ordering food delivery. read more

I had surgery (tummy tuck, muscle repair, BBL, lipo to inner thighs and lipo 360) on July 29th, 2025, and I was very nervous. I chose to stay at Bella Recovery. House because I had heard great reviews. The nurses at Bellas were amazing. Carmen, Karina, Gaby, and Magali (who ran the hyperbaric oxygen chamber) were the ones I connected with most. The doctors, Esmerelda and Evelynn, along with a few other nurses, were all very kind and attentive. They treated me with love and respect, and even though I felt uncomfortable asking for help, they made it easy. They helped me shower, braided my hair, and went out of their way to make me feel cared for. When I pressed the button for help, they came quickly, and I never had to wait long. When I needed different meds, or something from the pharmacy, they took care of it for me so I didn't have to worry. The food was another pleasant surprise. I'm a pretty picky eater, so I was nervous at first, but everything was delicious. Meals and snacks were pretty much on schedule, with breakfast at 8, snack at 12, lunch at 2, snack at 5, and dinner at 7, and I genuinely enjoyed them all. Being a type 1 diabetic, I often have to guess how many carbs are in the food when it is prepared, and even guessing, my blood sugars were in the target range 100% of the time, multiple days, while eating their food. That doesn't happen as often as I'd like, lol. I also completed 10 sessions in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which I believe had a significant impact. By day 5, I started feeling noticeably better, and by the time I went home after 10 days, I'd say I felt about 80%. I still had some tightness, but no pain. I was walking around, and the only real annoyances left were the swelling and drains, which are just part of the process. Overall, the care I received from Bellas far exceeded my expectations. I felt well cared for and about, I was comfortable, and if I were to have another procedure done, I would absolutely stay there again. read more

Firstly, I wanna thank Briana and Diana (coordinators) for being able to make my stay happen at Bella Recovery House they are the most sweetest people I have ever met. They would see me around the house and always asked if I needed anything & if everything was okay, they made me feel super comfortable & at ease. Not to mention their awesome nurses: Lupita, Mary, Jessica, Charis, Michelle, Abraham, Laura, Arturo, & Alday Well they truly make the magic happen there at Bella Recovery House. They will make sure you are fed. Your room is clean, that you are bathed, they will wash your clothes. They will make sure that you keep up with your pain medicines and your antibiotics, they also check your signals vitals all that good stuff, etc. I honestly cannot thank them enough for everything that they did while I was there. It is a very vulnerable time after such a big surgery and having someone take good care of you is definitely a necessity I will always recommend Bella Recovery House and if I were to get another surgery, I will definitely be staying with them again! This place is amazing. The nurses were amazing sweet and caring. You do have to keep in mind that you are only allowed to have visits for 1 hour and no kids are allowed.They are very strict with these rules but over all the stay was amazing and I have no complaints. The premises were very clean and everyday they would clean my bedroom. The food was so good and they even gave me options to change my meals if I didn't like it. I recently stayed 10 days after having a mmo. The facility is beautiful and safe. The nurses are all amazing! They are professional, caring, and take such good care of patients during their most vulnerable time (Rosario, Wendy, Yareli, Melissa, Gaby, Denise, Fernando, Charize ) They also taught me how to care for my wounds so that I could do it when I came home. In addition, the food is delicious and different every day. Luz is there to happily clean your room. They have multiple massage therapist in house and a hyperbaric chamber, which makes it so convenient. Last but not least, there's a doctor there every day. I had a really bad experience I left today . The cleaning was bad , and the nurse had like 6 patients at once . We literally had to call more than 3 times for them to come . I almost passed out and called them about 5 times and nothing until one of the patients mom came to my rescue . It was a horrible experience. I cannot be more grateful if my stay at Bella Recovery. I got a Mommymakeover and stayed for 6 nights, I do wish I could've stayed longer because the recovery is no joke. Honestly plan your stay for at least a full week or 10 days. Most of the girls I met there recovering extended their stay upon realizing this. The nurses and staff there are amazing. Upon arrival you'll receive an electronic ring connected to a wrist band for your nurses, so anything you might need they are there for you. The food is super good and healthy in order to help you recover, full meals and snacks. On top of that you'll receive with your breakfast a freshly made beet juice. In my case my medications started at 6am, and the chef wasn't here yet, so nurse Chely would make me an oatmeal so I wouldn't take my medications on an empty stomach. This is what I mean by going above and beyond. The facilities are super clean and spacious. They are located in one of the nicest areas of Tijuana. I stayed in a shared room of 3 beds with plenty of space and it wasn't weird at all, we were all in this together and help each other. The room had a beautiful view of the city with a balcony and AC. Recovering puts you in a vulnerable position that until you go through it, you won't know how hard it is. The nurses there encourage you and cheer you on and help you. The coordinators Fer and Andrea are so nice, they'll get you anything you might need and arrange transportation for your appointment. You'll literally won't have to worry about anything. On the first day of my 5 night stay, I purchased a faja from them. I wasn't able to put it on until the evening of day 2, due to me fainting the morning of day 2 and not feeling well. While the nurse was helping me put the faja on, I could literally hear the seems stretching. I told her it felt too tight and she told me it was normal to feel that way due to swelling. I try to lay down for about two hours but the faja is soo tight I feel like I can barely breathe. I call for the nurse and tell her what's going on. The nurse unbuttons and unzips the left/right side of my faja and leaves me sitting on the bed for like 30 minutes. I call for her again and she sends a different nurse to remove the faja and wrap me in a cloth. At this point I'm extremely frustrated and decided to switch back into my original faja. I press the help button and no one comes. I pressed the button a total of 4 times from around 9:50pm -10:35pm and no one came. I started calling numbers from the website and Ana texted me at 10:37 asking how may she help me. At the same time, the nurse walks in telling me nothing can be done about the faja because I already worn it. I was calling because I needed help! That's over 30min I could've been laid out on the floor. The next day the faja is still a huge deal. I get my invoice and realize I was measured for and purchased a Large but was given a medium. They squeezed me into the wrong faja. The administrator brings the 3 nurses that helped me into my room and she's telling me how this nurse took measurements, this nurse helped me put it on etc. I know that had to be soo embarrassing for them. The issue was administrative and should had been handled differently. They ended up giving me the faja I ordered but the nurses were different towards me after this incident. I'd walk to my massage or chamber and they wouldn't look at me, wouldn't acknowledge me or anything. During a stressful painful time this made my experience at Bella soo bad. Another time I pressed the button for help and it took 30mins for someone to come. On day 4 the nurse was helping me put my faja on after my shower. The room next to me pressed the help button, the nurse left me standing with my faja half on to go see what the other room needed. By the time she returned, I had already put the faja on. She started clapping saying ohhh you did it! Excuse me? Why are you happy I just had to struggle to put this on when you were supposed to be helping me, not the other room! They could've waited like you had me waiting. I wasn't informed of or invited to any events outside of my room. Night 4, the nurse almost gave me a double dosage of my pain pill. I had to show her the prescription my doctor sent me for her to take one of the pills back. I told them I didn't like melon aside from watermelon and they served me melon as a snack. I told them I was allergic to pineapple and they put pineapple on my burger. I ordered a sandwich and it took over an hour to get it. I cried in my room, scared to press the button for help because I knew they would intentionally ignore me and take long. Karina Is the only reason I'm giving this review any stars. She was a sweetheart and treated me the same before and after the incident. She didn't make me feel like I was bugging her. Every time she entered my room, she was all smiles. OK, well here it goes so I recently stayed at Bella's recovery home, and I just want to say it was the best experience I could of have asked for, everybody was very attentive since the moment I got here I felt like I was in a resort. The care they give you is out of this world if I get another surgery in the future best believe I will be staying here. I became so close to one of the coordinators Jenoveva, I also became very close to some of the nurses like Gabby, Jessica, Daniela,Yareli, Wendy etc!!! When I came into this home, I had the mentality that I had to get ready because I know all this takes a toll on you mentally and physically. I honestly expected to cry when I got here due to me missing my family or, the recovery being tough, but I did not cry one time, and that is because everybody in this building made me feel so comfortable and loved! The whole place smells like sewer as soon as you walk in. I'm not familiar with TJ and had no idea how loud this location would be, if you're in the rooms by the window you can hear everything at all hours of the night. During my stay there was a business alarm that went off for HOURS right in the middle of the night and it ended up making me have a seizure. I asked to sleep in a different room because I was on the verge of vomiting and the nurses were very hesitant. The other private room was small and suffer stuffy and as soon as I woke up she rushed me off to my shared room again. There was one nurse In particular who was great very attentive and payed attention to detail (long black straight hair usually wore it in a bun) and a man nurse, otherwise it was apparent the nurses were wanting to do the least possible. One nurse dropped the tape piece she had cut on the floor and wanted to place it on my incision! They do like to make sure that they're charging you asap for any services which makes it seem awkward. They also wanted to overcharge me for a late check out but I had text of what I was quoted. The food was good and the in house doctor was great also very attentive and makes sure you understand what's going on. This place was talked about highly and I do not understand why I would never recommend them. My last day as soon as I woke up they rushed me to have all my things ready to leave. read more

I loved my stay at Bella Recovery #1. I thought sharing a room would be annoying, but we all helped each other out and now are going through the recovery process together. I stayed for 4 days, and my honest review is... stay longer. Bouncing back is taking me longer than I thought. The food was amazing. The fact that you are in a hospital bed that will sit up for you is priceless. The nurses help with everything, including daily showers and washing my faja. Chely, Aniah, and Catalina are just 3 of the amazing staff, but all work so hard for your comfort. I highly recommend it. Recovery house 2. What an outstanding recovery home for post surgery care. I was so incredibly impressed with the attention and care all the ladies provided. Everyone was so caring, kind, so patient especially with trying to put on the darn compression socks and fajas. Mari was so sweet and so attentive. . Yo pague 7 noches sin ningún descuento a 160 la noche en cuarto privado pero la lavadora está a la par de el cuarto privado y la enfermera de la noche lava toda la noche así q escuchas lavar secar hasta como a las 2 am ! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Bella Recovery home! If you have surgery DO NOT go home the next day TRUST ME! You will need a lot of care and help. If you can book 1 week here DO SO! The home is in a very nice area of TJ and the home is very nice and comfortable all around. I booked a shared room. PROS OF A SHARED ROOM: You're not alone and can talk and bond with 1 to 2 other girls because after a while you do get emotionally overwhelmed. CONS: When you're there to rest and recooperate and another girl is arguing or fighting on the phone and you're irritable it gets annoying! THE STAFF IS AMAZING!!! All the girls are very accommodating and nice. You have your own call button and you can hit it all day and night long and they never are rude or give you attitude. They are very helpful. They help you get out of bed and take you to the restroom. If needed they stay in there with you. They help you the whole process through and back into bed. You have snacks, teas and 3 meals a day. They shower you, clean your incisions, dress you, comb and braid your hair, give you your medication. They have a lymphatic massage therapist who comes to the house and is amazing! Highly guarantee booking your massages and carry cash! The only suggestion I would make is to hire more staff for Sundays because since the chef and cleaning lady are off the poor Sunday staff of girls have extra duties and it's a lot already to deal with all the girls care then to have to worry also about cooking and cleaning. read more

Mix reviews on this recovery home. I stayed with my daughter. The nurse in the day time was amazing the only reason we stayed. The shower never worked in our room and no one cared to come fix it or acknowledge it was not working. The futon was very uncomfortable. The night time nurses decided to clean the bathroom at 2am laughing and giggling so loud they woke us up. I did not end up staying at Bellas due to my surgery being canceled but the communication with them.was excellent. They are prompt to respond with all of your questions which made me feel very reassured. When I needed my refund in full minus the deposit, I was refunded immediately. I've heard of horror stories of not getting refunded and getting blocked by other recovery houses but Bella was professional and refunded me within the hour I reached out. I stayed at the Bella Recovery House in January following a tummy tuck, lipo and bbl. During the pandemic I was uncertain I wanted to stay in Tj and recover but I was at ease because everyone has to get covid tested and the entire staff wears masks at all times when taking care of you. Cook that prepares healthy delicious meals to get your strength back up. They treat you with so much kindness and are there for any little thing you need.
