    Food they provided!

Awesome lovely ladies there! They were all so caring and catered to me every minute! They never were rude or made me feel uncomfortable, they made amazing food and the masseiuse Zaida is the best along with Rosita she was lovely! They even went to the pharmacy for me and they even sent a nurse to the house so I can get an IV when I was feeling really sick! They also are super affordable and I wouldn't have been able to do this without DOLLHOUSE!

    The rest of my stay.

PT. 1. I stayed at this house for a full 7 days. This was my 3rd surgery and I had previously stayed at 1 other recovery house for my other 2 surgeries. I reserved the private room and was excited since I saw it was a nice place. Before my surgery I sent them my address of where to pick me up. My mother was going to accompany me for my surgery. The day before I resent them the address so they would for sure have it and I noticed they only read it. The day of my surgery the driver (Damariz) contacted my mom in a rude manner demanding the address. After my mom sent it to Damariz, she claimed she didn't know where it was and to resend it. She had an attitude and said she needed to speak to who was responsible for me. My mom said well I'm responsible. Damariz said that wasn't enough and she needed to speak to my doctor otherwise she wasn't going to pick me up. My mom sent her the number even though it didn't make any sense. Damariz proceeds to say she needed to speak to the doctor and that she would pick me up once I let her know I was ready. This all happened before 10 am. They gave me a shower and of course I was feeling dizzy and nauseous since I had just had the surgery. My doctor was running late to release me but I knew he would be there by 11. It was around 10:30 when Damariz messaged my mom saying she was on the way. We had NOT told her I was ready. This confused the nurse, my mother and I because that meant she had called the dr and he must have gave her the ok then to pick me up even though he hadn't shown up yet. Since she was near the nurse decided to take my IV out and they started getting me ready. Within a few minutes my dr arrived and when he saw my IV was taken out he was angry because he had NOT been contacted by the driver. Meaning Damariz lied and decided to show up just because she felt like it. This created tension between the dr and the nurse because of the lack of common sense from the driver. Damariz showed up to the room, not saying hello or introducing herself and only said "Oh I thought you guys would be ready!" With an attitude. Everybody was obviously upset because it created tension, anxiousness and unnecessary rush to get me out. My mother was upset because obviously we know the drivers are on a time crunch but what was the point of demanding for my doctors number if she didn't even contact her? My mom went downstairs to the van and said my daughter has to lay on her stomach because I couldn't sit due to my glute implants. Damariz said ok. My mother went back upstairs to grab the stuff and when she comes down Damariz said that the owner Maria was on the phone and wanted to speak to her. The owner sounded upset saying that if "I needed an ambulance I should call one because it was against the rules to be laying flat on my stomach." And that "I seemed to be anemic or have had lost lots of blood in my surgery because the driver claimed I looked sick." My mother was so surprised because the driver Damariz manipulated the situation before we could even do anything. NO WHERE in the emails or booking does it say I could not lay on my stomach in the VAN. When you get a bbl the doctors tell you that is the best way to position yourself. And if I can be positioned like that in my small car why couldn't the driver be considerate to let me do what's best for my body? And obviously the day after your surgery everybody experiences nausea, dizziness, and even faint. I am not anemic and to assume my state of being without even seeing for yourself is unbelievable. Damariz continued with her attitude and said we could follow her to the house but what difference would that make? My mother decided to take me herself. When I got to the house I met Alma. She was very nice. I started crying out of frustration because of how rude Damariz was and the unnecessary conflict she caused all because she didn't want to accept the fact she was not doing her job the way she was supposed to.

Listen up, folks, because I've got a recovery center tale that'll blow your socks off! So, picture this: I'm at the Dollhouse recovery center in TJ, and let me tell you, it's like the big brother house home away from home. From the get-go, I'm treated like royalty, and I can't help but feel like a pampered superstar. I recently had the privilege of staying at Dollhouse recovery center in TJ which exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in a home away from home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being throughout my recovery journey. The first thing that impressed me was the exceptional food they served. The meals were delicious, nutritious, and tailored to individual dietary needs. The chefs genuinely cared about providing a variety of options and accommodating any specific requests. Medication management was on point. The staff members were incredibly diligent in administering medications promptly and ensuring I had everything I needed. I felt safe and confident knowing that my health was their top priority. The showers were impeccable, and cleanliness was a paramount concern for the staff. They paid great attention to detail and maintained a spotless environment. I appreciated their dedication to hygiene, which further enhanced my overall experience. At night all you hear is the sound of Lysol cans lol. The nurses at DOLLHOUSE were truly remarkable. They were not only knowledgeable and professional but also caring and kind-hearted. They took the time to listen, address any concerns, and provide unwavering support. One memorable gesture was when they went out of their way to pick up headphones for me. It was a small act of kindness that made a big difference during my recovery. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible the massages were. The recovery center had skilled therapists who provided spectacular massages that helped alleviate my physical and mental stress. It was a truly rejuvenating experience that complemented the healing process. The DH recovery center's location offered breathtaking views, which added an extra layer of serenity and tranquility to my stay. Whether I was enjoying the view from my room or participating in outdoor activities, the scenic surroundings were a constant source of inspiration and motivation. The beds were not just comfortable but also had massagers, providing a luxurious touch. It was wonderful to be able to relax and unwind after a day of therapy and activities. The recovery center truly understood the importance of creating a cozy and soothing atmosphere. In conclusion, choosing to stay at this recovery center was undoubtedly the best decision I've made. The exceptional food, timely medication administration, amazing showers, kind and hardworking nurses, caring staff, thoughtful gestures, spectacular massages, incredible views, and comfortable beds with massagers made my recovery journey unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this recovery center to anyone seeking a supportive and nurturing environment to aid their recovery. I will never forget this! I recently stayed here for a total of 5 nights. I would say communication was good. There was no hiccups. Owner was very responsive to me and staff was very generous. However, Rosita was just a plus for me. She absolutely made me feel welcomed & just overall taken care of. Meals are 9am, 12pm & 5pm. Medications are based on their meal time as well. I guess if I were to find something to complain about was just that it's really cold in the house during this winter time so showers were very intense. But other than that everything is pretty well. Rosita was always cleaning. Every shift change the ladies would sweep, mop, & disinfect. I stayed in a shared room and there was only one lady besides me in there and it was pretty cool to have someone to talk to. I would also say. Be prepared to feel home sick because the house remains quiet for everyone's privacy and resting so I cried like 2 nights into my stay because I missed my family lol but other than that what a great experience! This was my first surgery so if I ever get another one I would def come back!

The staff were not friendly or reassuring at all. The overall vibe felt cold, robotic, and impersonal, which is the last thing you want when you're about to undergo a major cosmetic procedure. What really concerned me was being told I would not meet my doctor until the actual day of surgery. I was also receiving text messages with surgery instructions while I was literally sitting in the lobby, which made the whole process feel very disorganized and unsettling. Social media can be very deceiving, so I highly recommend visiting any facility in person before committing to surgery. When it comes to cosmetic procedures and your safety, trust your gut. The cancer started to come back and she was set to start chemo (in the USA) at Kaiser. She heard about CHIPSA and wanted to try it. They don't guarantee a cure. When she told me about the program, I figured worse case, her condition would stay the same. That was not the case at all. Her Kaiser doctors (in the USA) said the cancer was coming back but pretty slowly. When she got back from her 3 week treatment the cancer had suddenly picked up speed. To make things worse, she started to lose a lot of hair, which was very traumatizing for her. The CHIPSA treatment included a "weak" chemo with supposedly no side effects (the CHIPSA doctors said hair loss would not be an issue for sure). Her hair loss started a few days after returning home. The so called "weak" chemo was strong enough to cause massive hair loss but completely ineffective against the cancer itself. On top of that, she developed 2 serious bacterial infections, one in her lungs then one in her intestines. Both infections were difficult and time consuming to treat and both were very hard on her. She said there were issues with her chest IV Port, it kept coming loose. Some of her treatments included circulating her blood thru some kind of machine. Plenty of opportunities to pick invasive bacteria which is probably how she got infected. She had to delay the start of her chemo till both infections had been resolved (which took 4 weeks) by which time it was basically way too late for the Kaiser chemo. She passed away 5 weeks later. If I could go back in time I would have stopped her from going to CHIPSA. It was a huge mistake. The trip wasted precious time and caused her harm. I'm sick of people exploiting the fears of cancer patients for financial gain. They know cancer patients are desperate and they prey on them. They typically promote a few miracle cures largely based on anecdotal "evidence". So basically we paid $35,000 only to have my wife return in worse shape than when she went down there in addition to the time wasted. She had a small window of opportunity for the Kaiser chemo to maybe help and that window was squandered because of the CHIPSA visit (and its harmful after effects). My advice is, stay clear of CHIPSA and don't trust people peddling miracle cures. Use the time saved to do something actually beneficial for yourself or your loved ones. Don't make this mistake like we did. I lost my beautiful wife as a result.
