I saw Laurie for the first time back in February... she was great!!! I have some adult acne and…read moreshe recommended products to use and my skin has looked so much better since! She was also very educational with the questions I asked and offered other recommendations to help with my skin. My skin can be sensitive at times so I was worried about trying new products. Per Laurie's recommendation I bought a toner, vitamin c & e, a pore & wrinkle serum, & a moisturizer. I love them all and most importantly, my skin does too! I would also like to note that she was not in any way pushy about buying the products. She suggested the ones to get first if I was looking to budget. I ended up buying them all and found the pricing very reasonable. I just rebooked and can't wait to see Laurie again.

I was a loyal client going for monthly appointments for 6 years until I got breast cancer and had…read moreto cancel a couple of appointments last minute (chemo symptoms come on fast and hard!) Instead of calling me and asking if I was OK, as any caring business owner would, I was blacklisted from booking appointments online. Marisa only cares about your wallet and it's evident in the fact that in the 6 years I was a client, she went through 3 different product lines in the guise of "providing the best for her clients" i.e., what will make her the most profit. She forces product sales and tells her estheticians to do the same. If you're not her daughter or a family friend, you won't last there as an employee. Her prices are on par with high end Boston spas, but in North Attleboro. I presume she has to pay the mortgage on her extravagant new location somehow. I regret having spent thousands there over the years. EDIT 1/2/2025 in response to business owner comment -- I understand the need for strict no-show and last-minute cancellations, which of course are intended to recoup loses from UNRELIABLE clients. Not from clients diagnosed with cancer who are trying their best to maintain some sense of normalcy in life who have a long history of maintaining a proper client-business relationship. My treatment based on extenuating circumstances cannot reasonably be considered "understanding and flexible". It is important to current and future clients that they consider how quickly a business devalues a client, so they can make the most informed decision on where to receive these types of services. The best way to address my concerns would be to treat clients better than I've been treated. I in no way mean to harm your business. Everyone can read all reviews here and on other websites and decide for themselves if they wish for their hard-earned dollars to support your business.

I came to SkinMD for scars on my face, was sold a $2,400 neogen plasma treatment and my scars look…read morethe same. I was sold on a procedure that did nothing for me. No one closely looked at my face or scars when I came in for the consult. One person looked at my face without any type of magnifier, just across the desk from where i shelled out 2,400 bucks because I was told the treatment works for scars. I will post my complaint nand pictures to as many media outlets possible to save others from the same predicament and to tell how SkinMD remedies this if at all. I'm sure the Neogen Plasma works, but no one should be sold something that has no value to them. Finally, The procedure was painful. The gel used supposedly has anesthetic/ numbing properties, yet it was less than 10 seconds between applying it and hitting my skin with the treatment wand. Maybe because it was Friday at 5pm and the technician was in a hurry to get done for the week that the few seconds to let me numb up a bit were not spared? My eyelashes got singed along with some of my hairline, red raw skin spots resulted and remained raw for 4 weeks after treatment.. Evidently these areas were done "extra" ; around my scars and in random areas that seem more like errors in the procedure than purposeful. The raw skin I don't think healed better with the 100 dollar plus after treatment cream they insisted worked wonders. I hope to get a refund at the least. I will post what happens at my follow up.... .

I had a BodyTite procedure on August 29, with liposuction and Morpheus8. It was a good experience,…read moreand Dr. Ko and Joey were professional, effective, friendly, and made me feel at ease. (The painkillers and tranquilizers also helped a lot :). It's been about 5 weeks and I had a follow-up visit the other day; all is healing well. The only think I think could have improved my experience is better information and details about the healing process and after-care. I wasn't aware that it can take up to 6 months for full healing, which I learned on my own through research at at y follow-up visit. I've also learned more on my own about the vital importance of the compression garment. They mentioned it briefly, but more in-depth details would have been good. I would also have liked a compression garment that fitted me better; I had to alter the one they provided because the shoulder straps were too short and not adjustable. I've purchased another garment to use, and also plan to get a lymphatic massage to aid in scar tissue smoothing and fluid removal. I suggest that SkinMD provide a brochure with detailed after-care information and healing time, and links to reputable websites and videos about healing and self-care. But overall I'm happy with my results - no regrets! - the price was reasonable and everyone has been professional and friendly. Thank you -

I originally left due to a bad interaction with an employee at another location. I moved so I decided to give it another go since this was a different one close to my home. All was fine till I booked a stretch and massage. I arrived for my appointment 5-7 min early. The stretch guy got me at the time of my appointment maybe a little later. I told him I was there for a stretch because I had been having some shoulder pain and figured this would be good. He replied, "well I'm not doing shoulders today :-O" Then we ended 20 min early. I told him that it was short he claims he got me early. I really really dislike confrontations so I let it go figured I would speak to the manager about it and make them aware through the survey they usually send after the visits. The massage was awesome though Tamara was excellent. Survey came but not for mr. non shoulder stretch guy. So, I was given a free stretch as a courtesy. I thought everything was good this was on 01/12/25. Why on 01/17/25 I see a debit to my HSA for $37.56 from Massage Envy?? I called and was told they were trying to debit the mthly fee which usually comes out on the 20th of the mth. Here is where I have the issue with them. I was told by one person it was because of the membership fee, another told me it was not them, but another told me it was for the non-compliant stretch I got. Make up my mind for me this resulted in me calling my HSA bank cancelling the card for an unauthorized charge. I waited a whole week to see if this charge fell off since it was the incorrect amount and as they said it was not them. The charge never fell off it went through and posted to the account. They were then blaming my bank and saying it was not them. I said since it was debited, I would pay the remainder I was told no they could not do that, and it was not them. I could pay the membership fee in full, or they could cancel my membership for me. I responded that they or someone there basically stole money from me. A bank/HSA would not randomly say oh let me send massage envy some of her money! Because of my response they then cancelled my membership and basically told me I could "AS A COURTESY" use my remaining sessions that I paid for at another massage envy location. I refuse to respond to them and perpetuate the injurious behavior. But I am really upset, angry, and confused on how I am being treated like this when it was my money??? If it were you, wouldn't you want your money back or not be charged an additional amount for who knows what??? Let us just say after my use of the remaining sessions I will not be giving any more business to them EVER!!!!
