Updated review: After reading my upset reviews the director of the service center contacted me to apologize regarding my experience. He generously offered to comp an oil change and explained it is policy for them to lock the car doors and keep the keys with the check out lady. I have been assured this has since been resolved. Coconut Point Ford Quick Service--just left and have to share what good service they provide. We have brought multiple vehicles here not just Fords over the last couple of years. Not impressed with their sales staff at all but for the Quick Service it's great. They handle oil changes, car was & detail as well as repairs and maintenance. Much better pricing than the Cadillac dealer in Naples and better service. The guys do a good job at a fair price. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Very unprofessional. I called in the morning at 9am, stated I would be driving 3 hours to see a vehicle that they had in inventory (Ford Raptor). I made an appointment with a nice young lady on the phone and she gave me a confirmation number. 2 hours into my drive I get a phone call from someone saying they just sold the car.. very upset. If I could give ZERO stars I would! Below is an experience my sister recently had. I wanted to leave a review because it is disheartening to see how she was treated and taken advantage of. My sister is a very hard working single mom. This situation has caused both detrimental emotional and financial stress. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM #coconutpointford I bought a used 2013 Nissan Altima aesthetically beautiful on July 7, 2020. My salesman, Ulysses Campbell promised us a vehicle that "had nothing wrong with it" and that the dealership was "held to different standards selling used cars". The car test drove well and ran nice for 3 days, started to stutter but only intermittently. I took it to Nissan who stated it was the transmission going bad. Ford agreed to look at it, Victor told me Nissan was trying to rip me off in repairs. And, because no check engine lights came on and of course the FORD technician checked it out they could not reproduce the problem they told me they couldn't help me. Basically, Victor was adamant that I bought an "as is" car even though I had only had it 9 days. Then, 5 days later with still the intermittent stuttering, my daughter gets stuck in the middle of a busy intersection and almost gets t-boned! Still heartless Victor tells me I bought an "as is" car! It's at Nissan again, needing a new transmission AND alternator!! The car WILL NOT DRIVE without these repairs! I haven't even had it 30 days! DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE!! Car $8200 plus tax, title, registration. New alternator and transmission ADD $5500, FIFTEEN days after I bought it because Ford refused to own up to selling a car that was NOT safe to drive!! Very disappointed.. I received a letter in the mail stating they would want to purchase my F 150 and offer me $41,868 for my truck, plus they say, with this Invitation, I would receive an additional 8,906 more for the F150. AND this Saturday, which is 4/24, would receive an additional 10,000 combined with $0 down and 0% financing for 72 months. ( I have a 2018 F 150 xlt which was appraised by them for 35,000.). So receiving this letter I called and spoke to a Sales person who said, yes the letter is correct and asked me what vehicle I was looking at, I told him I was looking at the Platinum F 150 2021. Perfect, set up the appointment for this Saturday, 4/24 11am. That was on a Wednesday 4/21. Received a call from same sales person today 4/24, same day as appointment to confirm appointment and the vehicle I wanted. I arrived and met the sales person who was busy with another couple, let me take the key to the truck to look at while he was finishing up; I did think that was nice. 1 hour later and a couple times telling me he would be right with me, I finally told him lets talk numbers or I'm going to lunch. He said perfect and would call me when he would be ready. 1/2 hour later received the call from sales person and tells me that the vehicle isn't part of the sales promotion. Sorry. REALLY!! It was a total waste of time and very unprofessional. False advertising. I will never purchase anything from Coconut point Ford. read more

After my original one star post, I had an immediate 180 degree turnaround and was given the great service I have experienced before at this location. I will assume it was just "a series of unfortunate events" that created the problem, and will give them a second chance the next time I am in need of service. ORIGINAL POST: I had an appointment for 7:30 am on Monday. It is now past closing time on Wednesday and I still do not have my car. It takes 3 or 4 phone calls before you get anyone to answer you, and when I brought my concerns to the service manager, Victor, I was told "we are really busy, nothing I can do". I understand being busy, but I had a scheduled appointment, which means they did not honor my time. So I will no longer honor them with my service needs. read more

I have been bringing here my Expedition ever since I got it 2 years ago (the car was just a year d when I got it). Since then it feels Le I almost live there as there is always something wrong with the car - which is not necessarily their fault I admit. But then in parts it is. The rear view camera started having issues after about 6 months and they kept telling me that hat is an ongoing issue and everyone and every car manufacturer has that problem. Then last time I took the car there after the camera working about a handful of times in the previous 3 months (no kidding!) they told me that they'd tried the camera 50 times and 50 times it was working. So I drive the car home and in the first 5 days the camera is not working a single time! So I call and they tel me again that they Ave tried it 50 times and every single time it was working and there is nothing they can do. So eventually Brian, my service guy, who I admit is a very nice guy (and the only reason this place gets 2 stars rather than just one) has the service manager Victor call me. Victor tells me again that there is nothing he can do and it was working and so on and on and on. Every single sentence I am trying to say he interrupts. Every single sentence (uh, rude?!). When I ask him to stop interrupting me he tells me that I am trying to make everything about myself. Eh what? So I say it's not about myself but it is about this freaking car (or should be anyway). He tells me that they can't do anything. So I said that wasn't a good enough answer. They need to figure out the problem and fix it and he keeps saying there is no problem and they cannot do anything. The story goes on and it was like in a bad bad commercial. Last year the coolant was leaking and they "figured out" that the water pump was broken so they put in a new one (luckily I have extended warranty) - only now the coolant is low again, after only 4 weeks since it was in the shop. Brought my Mazda Miata in for repair today. What a fantastic crew!!!! My repairs were done in a very efficient time frame. They didn't push any unnecessary repairs. Worse oil change service ever for the second year in a row and we will NEVER be back. Last year I waited 2 hours for a 20 minute oil change and the manager at that time a MR. Aly Napoleon sent me an apology and a "free oil change certificate" so this morning I went up and got in the line (I was third in line) at 7:10 am before the 7:30 opening time. One hour later my car still sat in the same place I left it and no one had touched it and no one was working on anything as the 5 "technicians" were surrounding a Honda Mini Van with a flat tire all trying to figure out how to get the jack under it. Poorest service I have ever had and I picked up my car after 1.5 hours and left and got no service. These guys call themselves the "Quick Lane Oil Change" and they were terrible. It was quite simple to walk away at that point. This follows up that the first idiot that called me who tried telling me they only sell at MSRP. I drove to Galloway, was treated as an actual customer, and promptly purchased a better truck (Lariat vs XLT) for very little more than what Coconut was offering. I was in town for a few days and in the market for a new car. I shop for cars often and my experiences have run the gamut from poor to outstanding. Coconut Point Ford wins, hands down, as the new worst in show. In this case the salesman ("Sal") was pushy and, in several cases, deceived us, or at least tried to. We were told that the closest vehicle that matched the model and options we wanted was 600 miles away and if we left a deposit they would contact the dealer and obtain that car for us. The salesman knew I had three days before I was going to head out of town. He required we drive in to leave a deposit because there was paperwork we needed to fill out. It was important we get there before close of business so they could "secure that car and go get it maybe tomorrow, for sure the next day." So we did that and there were no papers to sign. After two days of calling and receiving calls from the salesman, it became clear we were running out of time. I went on line and found the exact car 150 miles away, and as we were deciding to head out or not, the Coconut Point salesman texted us (not enough guts to call apparently)- "sorry. that car has been sold. come in to get your deposit back." Of course they could not do that over the phone either - once again I had to drive back to Coconut Point to have them re-run my card. I went in to have them refund the deposit, and they (supposedly) did - at least they re-ran my credit card - but here it is three days later and the charge that went through quickly for the deposit is on my card with no sign of a refund. I am now working with the charge disputes department at Bank of America. They tell me that the refund is often not run for fifteen days, and if I do not see the refund on my statement to call them back so they will dispute the original charge. The dealership we did buy the car from informed us that the practice is not to actually run the credit card at all in this kind of transaction. The experience we had at the dealership we drove 3 hours to get to was outstanding - I am going to write my second ever Yelp review about them as soon as I get done with this one. BTW - I just called to speak to the person who runs the transactions and surprisingly she is not available. There were several key points the guy lied to us about, and I am not going to take time to go into them. But my strong recommendation is to RUN. read more

After I posted my review Victor from Coconut Ford gave me a call to discuss my issues with them. He explained to me that it was a very busy time for them and he was extremely sorry that my car hadn't been looked at sooner. They have a smaller service division and don't have as many mechanics. They also had a car in the shop that was needing a lot of attention. He informed me that even though it was just my sun roof needing repair, that it is a tricky thing to work on. They had their best mechanic on it because it was also dealing with removing the headliner etc. The mechanic did not hurt his foot on my car. He had a prior injury that was acting up so he went home for the day. After hearing that I completely understood and since I'm not a mechanic myself, I have no idea what goes into replacing the track on a sunroof. He was very apologetic that phone calls to me were not made sooner. He also covered the current insurance I owed on the rental and issued me a check for the insurance I had to pay out the week prior. When I got into my car it was immaculate! They cleaned it from top to bottom. My sun roof is back in working order, and looks like it was never even messed with. They did an AMAZING job. They called me and were very polite and courteous, they wanted to turn my experience with them into a good one and they did! My car is in EXCELLENT working condition, CLEAN, and I was more then taken care of. I believe this justifies my rating of 5 stars. I will definitely be doing business with them again in the future! read more

My girlfriend got her oil changed at their service center in March 2018, engine blew one month after. I called ford and spoke to the manager at the service center and said it's not their fault, the have a check engine light documented on their end with my girlfriends car. I got a second and third opinion from two different mechanics who said the same thing, oil hasn't been changed in a long time. I also have a sample of the oil which is super black and gunky. I have the receipt for coconut point ford and it says nothing in the description of check engine light, it also says that the oil was changed and it wasn't. I tried to resolve this issue personally with them and they denied the fact that it was their fault, said they couldn't help me, and that they would need to check so that their mechanics could verify if it was their fault or not. Why would I bring the car back to the same mechanics that messed it up in the first place? Never the less, I have enough evidence showing that they were negligent. I have two written statements by two mechanics and two videos that shows the sound engine is making and a video with one of their own mechanics saying it was dur to lack of oil. read more

We just bought a car for our daughter at Coconut Point Ford. We did our due diligence and visited several car lots in the Naples area. We also researched extensively online. We got a very fair price and we were treated well. Our sales person, Paul Lilke, was one of the best car salesmen we have ever met. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. He answered all our questions but never tried to push us. If you ever want to buy a Ford you should ask for Paul Lilke. You won't be disappointed. read more

When my 2014 F150 with 20000 miles began to show the infamous wrench indicator, I called Brian Kline to see if I could get the vehicle repaired quickly. The schedules for the next few days were packed, but Brian went above and beyond what I expected and got me in that same day. I drove the car to the shop where I planned to leave the car and was immediately processed through by Brian. I was quickly helped by Suzy Fradley at the on-site Enterprise office where I picked up a loaner vehicle. I had a convertible to sell, and the salesman told me that convertibles were a dime a dozen in Florida, but they had no convertibles on the Used Car lot. I bought a 2004 F150 5.4L 3V and after a little while it developed a low compression in 2 cylinders. I took it to Coconut Ford and Desiree was my service rep. Now, before I took it, I did do a compression test on it myself, and 2 cylinders had LOW compression. She calls me back and tells me that 2 cylinders have ZERO compression. I came there and spoke to the mechanic and he did confirm that 2 cylinders were LOW on compression. I told her that I know that, and I told her that prior I gave her the keys, I want to know why it has LOW/ZERO compression, she said, all right we will get back to you in a couple days. The truck was there for almost 3 weeks, and she never called me back. I called her back and she said: Ohhh, we cannot find your paperwork! Do you remember who you spoke to? I said, I spoke to you and you said you would perform an additional test to diagnose the problem. She responds: We cannot do a leak down test, you would have to pay extra for it. She was very mean and rude. They're super SLOW and provide horrible service. Only 2 service reps work there! That's right, only two!! They're service hours are listed as M-S, I went there on Saturday and they were closed! I can do the compression test myself and there is no point for me to pay them $150 to tell me that it has no compression. I don't have the tools to do the leak down test, that's why I took it there. Any other mechanic shop you will take they will tell you, all right you don't have compression because you have either bad valves or your piston rings are bad, or your rods are bent. I have been working on cars/trucks for over 10 years now. Now, for those that have the same truck, beware, FORD designed faulty injectors which will leak gas into your cylinders and cause your catalytic converters to clog up, which will backfire the exhaust gas back into your cylinder head and burn down your valves. When I was working on it, the intake manifold was melted where the 2 cylinders had low compression, because of all the burned exhaust gas returning back to the engine and backfiring. read more

Drove up from Naples on a Friday, after work, because their Yelp listing showed they were open until 8:00 pm. Arrived at almost 6:00 pm and they opened the door but would not let us in because they apparently closed at 6:00 pm. I've never heard of a dealership not welcoming prospective buyers. I wrote a review at cars.com and want to share my experience with customers on yelp as well. For my first experience I had my car towed to Coconutpoint Ford, Estero, from a dealer in my home town. I knew there had to be better service somewhere and luckily I found it at Coconutpoint Ford even though this dealer is at least an additional 10 miles away. Since my original service at this new dealer I can honestly say that anytime my car is at Coconutpoint Ford either for a simple oil change, tire purchase or a parts replacement or repair, Desiree has handled my appointments efficiently, providing accurate explanations for parts needed and/or service required and completing the service on time or sooner. I always drive away feeling confident with her assurance that the work was completed and my Ford Edge is functioning as it should be. She is the best and knowledgeable service advisor I have encountered at a Ford dealership in the last 15-20 years and that says a great deal as it has included Lincoln Town Cars, Expeditions, Explorers, Taurus Pros and Ford Edges. I worked with Tom Spicer at Coconut Point Ford for a couple of weeks prior to purchasing my new truck. He was able to find the EXACT vehicle I was looking for. Prior to working with Tom, I had a very miserable experience with Sarasota Ford. Not only was Tom Pleasant and professional to work with, but he beat Sarasota Ford's price by around $750+ on the same vehicle with the same VIN #. Tom had me in and out of the dealership in about 20 - 30 mins and took plenty of time afterwards to answer any questions and sync my phone up to the new truck. My wife will be in the market for a new Ford Explorer later on this year and I will not think twice about making the drive to see him again. read more
