This Ford dealership refused warranty work on my 2025 Ford Bronco because it has a lift kit and tires. The work that needs to be done is on the computer and nothing else. Ridiculous. Incredibly incompetent. I brought my F-150 there twice for the buttons on my steering wheel not working properly. Both times they replaced the buttons (didn't work the first time... and no surprise, doing the same thing the second time didn't fix it either). Took days to do this work. Frustrated, I simply googled the problem, and found that this is VERY common, and it simply requires replacing the clock spring. I did it myself in approximately 10 minutes of work following a YouTube video, and has been working for about 2 years great now. I would highly recommend you never, ever, use the shop for more than an oil change. Anything else and you're paying double the cost. I got a two minute diagnostic done by AutoZone for free. Took my truck to Quik lane for service. They quoted me $3000 which didn't include an item that I wanted them to fix or needed fix. Then charged me $315. For the diagnosis which I already had for free from AutoZone which took two whole minutes. They had my truck for seven hours before they could tell me the same exact thing that the report I had said. I was charged for a disposal fee, and a shop supply and material fee. Again nothing was done to my truck. Except for plugging it into the computer and reading a report. Coconut Point's QUICK LANE service is very disappointing. They quoted low for 30k miles service and it tried charging me $400 more when I arrived to pickup my F150. A week later I noticed they hadn't reset the maintenance reminder so had to go back twice for that (first time Quick Lane referred me to service dept who quickly reset). 3 weeks after service I started getting a low battery warning so they never checked the battery apparently. 5 weeks later I noticed something hanging off the bottom of my truck and it was the splash shield which was poorly rigged up with wire. Even if they didn't break the shield they should have alerted me to this when they performed the service. I called and left a detailed message for Dillon who never returned my call. Ok, this will take a while but bare with me. I work in Bonita Springs, so I thought it was a good idea to go to this particular location for auto repairs on my F-150 truck. I'm a pretty fair guy, and I don't like to give bad reviews. However, in this instance, it's well deserved!!! I took my truck in for a bad injector line for my windshield washer, and for brake pad replacements. It turned out, I had bad calipers on three tires, so I just had the fourth wheel done to ease future troubles. This meant that the repair would be ready for the next day, as they don't keep calipers in stock. I had no problem with that, but I did have a problem with, is I wasn't offered a loner vehicle while they completed the repairs on my truck. This caused me to have to UBER back to Ft. Myers, which was $45! The next day, I get a call informing me the warehouse sent the wrong part, so it would be another day to complete the repair. The good news is I was finally offered a loner vehicle. The bad news was I had to take an UBER again, back to the dealership to pick it up. This was another $40! The third day, I finally pick my truck up, and realized that after paying $1300, these folks didn't have the decency to run my truck through their car wash, which was 10 ft. away!!!!! WTF!! Not to mention, the injector to the windshield was not fixed! However, I wasn't about to give these people my truck back!!! I did what anyone with any kind of brainpower would do, got the hell outta there!!! I've been to many Ford dealerships over the life of my truck, and this dealership rates at the second from the bottom! You pay more to receive excellent service from a dealership, but the service provided to me was anything but stellar! I will never go to this place again!!! read more

I had ordered a 2022 Bronco (was a Dec. 2020 reservation) and agreed upon the sale price with the Internet Sales agent. I was concerned that a verbal agreement would not be honored (based on others experiences posted online with other dealers) so the Dealer's sales agent agreed to give me a signed price agreement with the clear understanding that this would be the final price. I picked up the Bronco on 4/9/22 and they declined to honor the signed agreement, stating that is was just an estimate. They required an additional $1250 to make the sale. Will be working with Ford Corporate to try and get resolution. My opinion is for anyone looking to buy from this dealer - get a signed and notarized contract on price. Other than that major issue, they did prep my vehicle even though I arrived unannounced, were fully transparent on all fees other than the sales price, took time to show me the vehicle features, and were friendly. If they decide to honor the signed sales agreement (either a refund or FordPass points), it would allow me to give them 5 stars and consider using them again in the future for my vehicle purchase, service, or warranty needs. read more

I recently had my truck in for 90k mile maintenance and some additional issues to fix- tail gate etc. I was able to get a service appointment in a timely manner. The " after hours " key box was easy to use. The service center called me the next business day had an estimate ready and did the repairs and the maintenance within 24 hours!!!! I received a text message that it was complete - was able to pay over the app- and arranged the pick the car up after hours when it was convenient for me! I was in an accident on Easter morning. I was hit on the front fender on the highway and spun in circles. This broke the tie-rod ends and the front fender. I had a friend fix the tie-rod ends and decided to repaint the entire car while fixing the fender. Before I painted the car I wanted to make sure it was only the tires causing the shake at high speeds. I took it to the Quick Lane at Coconut Point Ford (which I had used since they opened) to get an oil change and asked to check the tires as the car shook at higher speeds. They told me the tires looked fine, there was plenty of tread on them (as I already knew). Since I had a problem I wanted to find the cause. They told me they could do more diagnostics on it for over $200. I got the car painted at a body shop and they said the tires probably needed to be balanced, which they said they would do. Since this didn't fix the problem, I called the Quick Lane and asked on the price of balancing (as I thought the body shop may not have done it), and they said maybe $120 and forwarded me to a Service Advisor (which never picked up). I called the Quick Lane again and got no answer. I decided to take it to a tire shop and they took very little time to tell me the front tires were indeed chewed up from the accident. They replaced them and the car drives perfect. I will no longer buy tires from them again, as I no longer trust their evaluations. My mother took her car in for some routine maintenance work. By the time that they returned the vehicle, they broke the windshield wiper mechanism. We came back and informed them the wipers weren't working and they told us we had to order a piece for the repair plus pay for the repair. Mind you, it is June. In Florida. It rains every day or every other day. Whether the mechanic lost the piece, misplaced the piece, or intentionally removed the piece to sell another repair service, it exhibits unprofessionalism and incompetence. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. We gave this business two opportunities and yet a total disappointment and frustration. The first time we took our truck, they kept it for almost two months to then tell us they couldn't find the part needed. Brian even told my husband that he should just junk the vehicle. At that point we asked for the part number, googled it and found out that every dealership around us had it available as well as other places. My husband made them aware so few days later they called to let us know it was ready. Finally, after two months and a hefty payment we were getting the truck back, fixed or so we hoped. Went to pick it up and on the way home the dashboard looked like a Christmas tree, all the lights were on. Took it back and apparently the issue was something else which could wait. We started driving it and one day just stopped working, it wouldn't turn on. We called them, and asked for a tow. We scheduled it and when the day and time came, no one showed up. I called the business and Raquel told me that Brian knew the previous Saturday that we were out of their 10 miles therefore they couldn't provide the towing service and Brian was supposed to call but he just never did. Well, not surprised that Brian didn't call to let us know but surprised that living +/- 4 miles away we were denied towing service. Again, we took it to Coconut Point Ford (with a towing service that we hired) and asked to please have a different service Manager assigned, as our experience with Brian had been nothing short of a nightmare. To our surprised, who called, yup Brian did. Anyway, they gave us an estimate and guaranteed that upon completion, the truck would be fixed and all lights would turn off as this new repair would fixed the issues. Surprised! It didn't. The car would turn on; however, all lights were still on. Now, Victor called to let us know that it was a new issue, something else we needed to repair. I would never go back and unless you want to extremely overpay for repairs and parts on top of receiving horrible customer service, I will highly discourage you from ever going in that business for any type of repair. read more

We've been charged $800 for multiple things we haven't asked them to work on and the original problem I went in for has only gotten worse. The first time I went they ordered the wrong piece and had to wait 2 weeks with no phone call back letting us know the piece had arrived and when they finally installed it the sound got louder and more harsh. So back to the scratches , so Jay tells us we will get you a paint pen.. we say we want it fixed its a new car and should be flawless specially paying over 60k for it. He said ok they would take care of it but in the mean time I still will get the paint pen.. now Jay is no longer there and they have no records of anything lol go figure. We even bought the extra paint and Dent warranty and they still refuse to fix it. Today Nov 8 I had my girlfriend go up there ..Dan continued to bully her ..said we aren't doing anything .. threatened with a lawyer saying we owe money now after we have the title in hand. I've had two very poor experiences with Cocnut point ford. The first was with a 2012 Ford Fusion my girlfriend bought. They sold her the car with a transmission issue, which I found out later would eventually lead to the transmission going out. When I called them wanting to have it looked at, they wanted $150 just to put it on the computer to see what was wrong (before the repair changes). They also sold me the car with and ac problem that I still haven't figured out. My second experience is with my friends 250. His alternator went out and they wanted $750 dollars to replace it. We bought the at auto zone for $120 and It took me And hour to put in. Cocnut point ford will rip you off. I do not recommend purchasing any vehicles or having any vehicles worked on there, Unless you have endless amounts of money to give them. If I could give them no stars I would. I recommend going to the ford dealership in port Charlotte. They are very fair and will take good care of you. I've had a great experience with them so far. read more

We bought our new Expedition on December 4, 2017. We opted for the FORD extended warranty and service plan. The dealer that we dealt with assured us on multiple occasions that we were getting a FORD warranty, not a dealership warranty. Fast forward to January 2019. I show up for a service and I am told that I do not have a Ford plan, but some other "good" service plan. I have been unable to speak with anyone in reference to this matter - no one will return my calls. I think it is completely distasteful for this dealer to take advantage of a couple with two small children (one of which was an infant). We are very unhappy with Coconut Point Ford. We bought an Escape there about 3 1/2 years ago. We added the 5 year maintenance plan and the "Butler", the premium paint protection plan. After we bought it we stopped by for a promotion they were having. They really pressured us into upgrading. When the salesman couldn't convince us another person tried until I finally said "NO!" Then we started getting calls from the salesman trying to get us to trade our Escape. I told him, that were weren't interested in trading and please don't call us again. After the salesman called again we had to call Coconut Point Ford and told the manager to tell him to stop calling us. In September we made a trip back to Plymouth, IN where we lived before moving to Florida 5 years ago. We stopped in to Oliver Ford to visit friends we had made there over the years. While there we saw an Explorer on the lot that we liked. We test drove it and fell in love with the car. We traded the Escape for the Explorer. Oliver's told us that we should get a refund on the unused portion of the maintenance, which we did get. That still left 2 sessions left on the Butler, which Coconut Point Ford would not honor. I feel they should have compensated us for at least one of the Butler treatment. Between the high pressured salesman and not getting the rest of the Butler treatments, we are really disappointed in Coconut Point Ford, especially after dealing with another "Top Class" Ford dealership. read more

First, let me be clear this negative review is more about Ford than this dealership. I bought the vehicle in November. We bought the "Certified" warranty for used cars. On paper it looks good and worth the price. However, shortly after I got my 2112 Escape, the passenger side seat belt didn't work. The Ford site for Certified, "Relax its covered," says that Safety Belt Retractors and Track Assemblies are covered with a $100 deductible. I brought vehicle to Coconutpoint Ford and the service person noted the part will not be covered after all. She ordered the part and then showed us an email she received from Ford denying this was under warranty. The part is called "Seat Belt FRT St Retractor." So, the part would cost me $353 and the labor $100, $453. I have not been given a satisfactory answer as to why Ford is not standing behind the repair of the passenger seat belt, which clearly represents a safety hazard. Our salesperson doesn't understand either. I got a call today from a man from Ford who did not give me his name, but was reacting to my service issue. He kept repeating, "It is not a retractor." When I asked for his email address he said, "I do not have that capability." I then asked him to send me the transcript of our conversation and he said, "I do not have that capability". Hence, this public airing of the complaint. Thanks for your follow up. Victor called me this morning and is working on a solution. Desiree is calling this morning to set up an appointment, Victor told me. We'll let Victor add his findings when he feels it's appropriate. Updated additional info January 24, 2017: First, thank you Victor who readily agreed something was wrong when the Ford Warranty listed seat belts as covered, but the info given to service contradicted that. As I understand it, an error in the nomenclature exists. I wonder how many people have paid for the Ford Certified Warranty and then paid for repair because of this? Victor and Desiree helped me schedule the repair this morning. Thank you both. I've not heard from Maxwell, the Ford Service Supervisor, who loved to say "No, No, and No." He is a supervisor and does not have "capability" to either email or send a copy of the transcript he said flatly. He refused to even discuss the disconnect between the promise and the reality.
