Mixture of stuff

Really good froyo!!! Quick and easy service It's quite small with good energy and the ambience here is nice. Very likable place!

Strawberry ice cream, cookie dough ice cream, and a bunch of toppings

I love Cocomero so much it is a classic froyo place with all the best options for toppings. They have something for everyone, if u like sweet, fruity, salty, they have everything! The frozen yogurt tastes so good and fresh (so much better than dining hall ice cream). I ate mine up it was actually perfect. And the window seats upstairs are perfect for watching campus life. I love going here with friends and i look forward to my future cocomero outings!

This is As good as I remember it from 6 years ago. I liked the simplicity of the froyo options and it is cheap. Quality- I got the green tea and taro flavored froyo. The green tea flavoring is great and you can taste it but I thought the tarp could have been brought forth more. It was pretty tasteless. Quantity- 65 cents for each ounce is ok for froyo. There are cheaper places around for ice cream and yogurt. Price- see above Atmosphere- this is what sells it. I like the coffee shop atmosphere and sitting upstairs while studying is nice. Service- good service. It is self serve.

iced Americano

I grabbed an iced Americano and sat on the second floor this Sunday afternoon. The beverage was okay, and the decoration made it cozy for studying. However, it was noisy afterward because more and more people went in, sitting around tables and chatting loudly. The music was loud as well, which made it hard to continue to focus on my work, even though I was wearing noise-canceling headphones. Maybe this place would be better for studying during the holidays!

Strawberry & Banana smoothie
Kayla B.

A great place to catch up with some friends, while also having some great cold drink. Anytime I go yo Cocomero, I get the strawberry and banana smoothie. It is usually sweeter then what I would like my smoothie to taste like, however, it's still a good smoothie overall. They also serve frozen yogurt(plus the toppings) here, and have a lot of seating. Whether that be for hanging with friends, or trying to find a niche place to get some studying in.

Great service and prices but drink tasted a bit too powdery for my liking. The place is clean and quiet enough to study or do homework!

My favorite froyo spot on campus!! The green tea flavor always hits and the fruit is usually really fresh

Chocolate and green tea yogurt with all my favorite toppings I got a 10% off with a receipt from another Korean restaurant. Cost me $9 with discount

Friendly staff. Teas are okay, mine was bitter though. Decor reminds of an airport lobby café. There are seats by the window. You could sit by the window and work and/or people watch. They have a second floor where there is ample seating, and good for groups.

It's self-serve frozen yogurt. Is this a new concept to you? If so, welcome to America! It loses a star for not handing out tiny cups to sample the flavors. The guy at the counter said the U of I students tend to abuse the privilege. So thanks, Thieving Illini! Toppings were fresh and the yogurt was tasty. It was also cool that it has a second floor, so you can climb the stairs to look out toward campus.

The topping selection is unreal.

I took my girls for the first time. There is so many flavors to choose from and toppings. You pay by the ounce so keep that in mind before loading your cup up. Our cups were about $8 each.

Cocomero provides the worst Taiyaki ever! It's way too salty than it should be. The frozen yogurt is good tho.

I'm a late riser and was looking for a place still serving breakfast, where I could also get a good mocha latte (my favorite!) This place hit the mark! The inside of the cafe is so cute and welcoming! They have a couch and a comfy chair, and a little gift shop too! And their baked goods looked mouthwatering, but I resisted them as I'm trying to watch my sugar intake! Their menu is great, I got the egg and veggie patty breakfast sandwich which came with the option of roasted potatoes or a salad! A great option!! I chose the salad which was a refreshing balance and allowed me to get some greens in with my first meal of the day! The mocha latte was delicious and so was the food! I was half way thru my sandwich when I remembered I should take a pic to post a review! :-) I will definitely be back to this place and have already shared with my daughter so she can support this business as well! The barista was so kind and sweet also!! Big shouts out to this beautiful local cafe!

Upon arrival, I checked out the menu and saw a lot of wonderful variety of items that I wanted to try; however, I only had room for one thing. While scoping out the menu, my eyes fell on their soft-serve flavors. They not only had chocolate and vanilla flavors but also, hojicha, matcha, and ube. Plus, you could get them in a swirl or just as two flavors in a dish. I immediately decided that I wanted the Hojicha and Ube pairing. My son got the Matcha and Ube combo. Both were good. I liked all the flavors. Hojicha was my favorite, followed by Matcha, and then Ube. Each of these ice cream had rich flavor and the texture was smooth. The pricing of the soft-serve was on the high side but the portion size was good. The Ice cream is made in-house including the Hojicha. The shop was busy. We got a couple of croissants and a canele, and we each ordered an espresso drink. It was everything she promised - and more. The croissant was flaky and buttery. Thai Tea Caramel Canelé {5/5}: The best canelé I've ever had (okay, I admit, I've only had maybe 6 in my life). Great caramel and good Thai tea flavor. The texture was AMAZING with a nice slight crisp and chewy outside and almost custard-like inside. Just a personal preference thing, but the flavor combination of peach, oolong, and matcha was not my favorite. I can see how someone who likes this flavor profile would find this drink refreshing!
