Mixture of stuff

Really good froyo!!! Quick and easy service It's quite small with good energy and the ambience here is nice. Very likable place!

Strawberry ice cream, cookie dough ice cream, and a bunch of toppings

I love Cocomero so much it is a classic froyo place with all the best options for toppings. They have something for everyone, if u like sweet, fruity, salty, they have everything! The frozen yogurt tastes so good and fresh (so much better than dining hall ice cream). I ate mine up it was actually perfect. And the window seats upstairs are perfect for watching campus life. I love going here with friends and i look forward to my future cocomero outings!

This is As good as I remember it from 6 years ago. I liked the simplicity of the froyo options and it is cheap. Quality- I got the green tea and taro flavored froyo. The green tea flavoring is great and you can taste it but I thought the tarp could have been brought forth more. It was pretty tasteless. Quantity- 65 cents for each ounce is ok for froyo. There are cheaper places around for ice cream and yogurt. Price- see above Atmosphere- this is what sells it. I like the coffee shop atmosphere and sitting upstairs while studying is nice. Service- good service. It is self serve.

iced Americano

I grabbed an iced Americano and sat on the second floor this Sunday afternoon. The beverage was okay, and the decoration made it cozy for studying. However, it was noisy afterward because more and more people went in, sitting around tables and chatting loudly. The music was loud as well, which made it hard to continue to focus on my work, even though I was wearing noise-canceling headphones. Maybe this place would be better for studying during the holidays!

Strawberry & Banana smoothie

A great place to catch up with some friends, while also having some great cold drink. Anytime I go yo Cocomero, I get the strawberry and banana smoothie. It is usually sweeter then what I would like my smoothie to taste like, however, it's still a good smoothie overall. They also serve frozen yogurt(plus the toppings) here, and have a lot of seating. Whether that be for hanging with friends, or trying to find a niche place to get some studying in.

Great service and prices but drink tasted a bit too powdery for my liking. The place is clean and quiet enough to study or do homework!

My favorite froyo spot on campus!! The green tea flavor always hits and the fruit is usually really fresh

Chocolate and green tea yogurt with all my favorite toppings I got a 10% off with a receipt from another Korean restaurant. Cost me $9 with discount

Friendly staff. Teas are okay, mine was bitter though. Decor reminds of an airport lobby café. There are seats by the window. You could sit by the window and work and/or people watch. They have a second floor where there is ample seating, and good for groups.

It's self-serve frozen yogurt. Is this a new concept to you? If so, welcome to America! It loses a star for not handing out tiny cups to sample the flavors. The guy at the counter said the U of I students tend to abuse the privilege. So thanks, Thieving Illini! Toppings were fresh and the yogurt was tasty. It was also cool that it has a second floor, so you can climb the stairs to look out toward campus.

The topping selection is unreal.
Chelsea S.

I took my girls for the first time. There is so many flavors to choose from and toppings. You pay by the ounce so keep that in mind before loading your cup up. Our cups were about $8 each.

Lots of yogurt flavors and mix-ins. Seems a bit expensive. Worth a visit if you like to customize your dessert!

The green tea and taro flavors are really good!! The topping choice is decent as well but the boba has a weird texture.

Fun place and good froyo. Marked it down from 4-3 stars just because of the cost--seems expensive for yogurt and a few toppings.

I even started coming more often after Dutch Brothers opened down the street because I wanted to offset the possibility of small business loss. This place has meant that much to me. What has set Paradiso apart from other coffee spots in town has always been the vibe; serving up a warm and welcoming spot to enjoy your drink and hang for a few. Up until recently the staff have always been friendly and attentive. Things have been going downhill for a couple months, but the last few weeks have been particularly egregious. A majority of the friendly and familiar faces that made this place so beloved have been replaced in recent weeks with rude and indifferent staff members. Recently I've had a half dozen instances of drinks made incorrectly (nothing fancy, just steamed milk and tea), or having to repeatedly ask for food I ordered, etc. and then being treated like I'm an imposition for asking to correct the issue. Many of the staff seem to pick and choose who they're polite to, to the point that I no longer feel personally welcome. I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Upon arrival, I checked out the menu and saw a lot of wonderful variety of items that I wanted to try; however, I only had room for one thing. Plus, you could get them in a swirl or just as two flavors in a dish. I immediately decided that I wanted the Hojicha and Ube pairing. My son got the Matcha and Ube combo. Both were good. I liked all the flavors. Hojicha was my favorite, followed by Matcha, and then Ube. Each of these ice cream had rich flavor and the texture was smooth. I have to give a 4 star rating though because within the last year or so I noticed they have stopped filling the cup full to the top. I asked to have more ice cream added to my tornado and the girl said she couldn't fill it after I had eaten it and I hadn't eaten anything and had just picked it up from the counter. I let her know I hadn't eaten anything and I had just got it from another girl working there and she apologized and gave me a small cup of ice cream to add to the top to mix in myself. But it had happened multiple times since then and it's pretty frustrating when you are paying so much for a tornado and it isn't filled to the top like it used to be and also making the drive for it too. I also don't love asking them to fill it after getting it from the counter. It's awkward. Overall, I will continue to get ice cream from SDB because it truly is the best. Just wish they would fill the cup all the way up without having to ask. :) *The photos attached are before I had eaten anything from the cup.

They offer the most selection of froyo flavors we've seen in Champaign-Urbana. There is also the option of getting a scooped version of the froyo onto a cone. Many toppings to choose from. You can even choose a color changing cup for your froyo for an additional $1. All of the spoons are color changing (again, major plus for our toddler). Docked two stars because the froyo itself is almost overly sweet. The consistency is a little icy for some flavors (strawberry) esp for soft serve/froyo and the taste could be better. It is, however, on par for taste at the other froyo/soft serve places in town. Bonus here at TCBy is they have more flavor options. While it's not terrible, it's just ok. It will satisfy your cravings and be loved by a toddler but if you're looking for Yogurtland quality or Pinkberry, this is not it. Service was great and the parking is easy to find. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The place is clean and I'm sure my toddler will want to come back soon!
