Well Folks our Favorite Greenville Candy Shop closed down, so I looked locally for a Simpsonville location. Yes, stopped by main street's CocoBon Chocolatier. Upon entering the store was greeted by Three Associates, dressed in Twenties attire. Loved the atmosphere and the Selections were also great. Stopped by for some chocolates today and learned the flavor of the month is blueberry. Just delicious and also bought a few of my favorite butterscotch a nearly extinct flavor these days. Larissa was working behind the counter friendly and efficient. She embraced the old time setting of the shop with her dress and manner. The shop is neat clean organized with many surprises like NECCO wafers from New England. This is what a shopping experience should be. The box chocolates make great gifts for any occasion. We stopped in for a little local egg hunt. I had never been in before but knew I had to get something. The people are dressed old timy. It's a cute little shop but isn't super friendly. I didn't get a good welcoming. I felt kind of awkward being in there. I ended up getting a chocolate bar and it was delicious. It was pricey for how thin it was however it was worth it. It tasted real not like most store chocolate bars are so I think it's worth it. I would go for the chocolate but not for the customer service. Very expensive but also very excellent chocolates. We tried four; caramel, butter toffee, raspberry, and truffle, all delicious. It's a lovely shop, small and beautiful with an old-fashionably dressed young lady working who perfectly matches the ambiance. Stopped into this little gem on our way home from Atlanta during the holidays. They had a wide variety of chocolates and truffles at very reasonable prices. This shop is a delight! The chocolates are delicious with lots of variety. My favorites were Key Lime and Raspberry Truffle. There were a lot of different sizes of gift boxes and even some decorated high heel shoe chocolates. The feeling in the store was very old fashion with a piano and banjo against the wall. The lady and gentleman that waited on us where dressed in period costume which added to the store. I will go back next time I am in Anderson. read more

I can't comment on the chocolate because we weren't able to purchase any. We had dinner last night at Doolittle's which is across the street from Cocobon. We had 3 kids who noticed the chocolate store and we promised them a visit after dinner. Their website said they were open until 7pm on Saturday's. The kids rushed to eat dinner and we got back to Cocoban at 6:50pm to find all the lights off and the closed sign up. Maybe there was a reason to close early but we had some disappointed kiddos. read more

Very reasonably priced for gourmet chocolate (this from a self-proclaimed chocolate snob). I went into this store yesterday with my boyfriend to check it out hoping that we would like it. We looked around a little bit then I found a black licorice stick and a blue raspberry stick that kinda remind me of a candy cane without the hook end. We went to checkout and the total was $1.05 so I gave the man my card because I didn't have cash on me at the time and he said "you're going to use your card for $1.05" I said yes I am I don't have cash on me at this time. I'm sorry but I find this extremely rude money is money and if you're an owner of any business you should be happy to take anything seeming that you are a small business. Will not be back. read more
