I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. This was one of the most frustrating and poorly handled car-buying experiences I've ever had. To make matters worse, we were promised a second set of keys and a gas card at the time of purchase from the salesman (Patrick Herrero) because their gas card wasn't working. Fast forward a month later -- after multiple calls to the dealership -- we have yet to receive anything. That alone is unacceptable. After escalating the issue and speaking with a manager, Michael Collins, the situation became even more disappointing. Instead of resolving the problem, we were told we would not be receiving the spare key that was originally promised. This is a clear example of the dealership not standing behind their word. Yes, we ended up buying the car here, but that was purely out of convenience -- not because they earned our business. I'd like to start off by saying that this dealership is amazing they went above and beyond to help us my family and I to purchase my first ford truck not only were they able to get us approved within 45 minutes out the door within an hour, they sold us a very, very nice truck. The team was very helpful kind considerate understanding they found a way to get us approved. It was amazing. They also took both our trade-ins and gave us a really great deal for them paid off our old loans & put us in a brand new 2025 Ford F150. I can't say enough about this dealership they're amazing. We're definitely gonna refer friends, and family, and I'm definitely gonna buy another truck from them in the future. They treat you like family. They will do anything to find a way to get you approved. They will help you. They will listen. They will find the right vehicle for you as well too. Ps. I purchased my 2019 Q5 from Cocoa Ford, and I paid what they were asking, I agreed to give them 2 keys and Cocoa Ford agreed to give me 2 keys as well. I signed for the Q5, traded my 2017 Honda and after getting the 2nd key, the keyfob didn't work, and when I tried the actual key, the 2nd key and key fob was for another Q5 and I was told they would fix it, and after finding out it was not for my Q5, I complained to the sales people and they said they would have their lock smith fix it but it turned out to be programmed and key was cut for a different Audi q5, and the GM said he would add $100.00 but that makes me pay $620.00, and the GM said I should be lucky they are helping because I didn't have it put on the paper I signed but the sales guy, and his dad that helps with the payments with the bank said they would help, and I waited 2-3 weeks for a locksmith, and then they said they couldn't help so I am so frustrated that I am suppose to pay $620.00 to Audi if I want a backup key because Cocoa Ford gave me a bad key as a 2nd key For my Q5 I purchased, that is not being honest and fair to their customers, and the GM kept Telling me I should be lucky they are even helping. I was told some customers get a bad 2nd key, and the whole dealership knows it. I couldn't believe Cocoa Ford just doesn't care about the customers'.all the way up to the General Manager, and he told me some customers get a bad 2nd key, and after I found out it cost $970.00, the General Manager said he would pay extra $100.00 on top of $200.00 it was suppose to cost to program key fob.I shouldn't have to call a dealership out that I purchased my car through but I am owed a 2nd key, not pay more money because the dealership gave me a key to another car, terrible to treat People like that. read more

Everything could be improved! - The cars in the lot are dirty, they have scratches and cobb webs on them. - Customer service is lacking, took at least 15 mins for someone to acknowledge us. - The finance guy is arrogant. Him and his son (yes, father and son sets work at this dealer), make bets on who will buy, and without class or professionalism will claim their winnings proudly in front of customers. - The finance guy came off as if he was trying to show dominance in his communication, which was extremely weird and off putting. Making statements about being a former cop and ways to identify as etc. He was very weird, and I'd say in the wrong business. - The office is dirty- furniture, floor, etc - Cars aren't maintained while sitting on the lot. Went to test drive a vehicle, and had to stop at the gas station bc it was on "E". I would not reccomend buying from here, and very happy we did not...based on the service reviews. Supposedly they are under new management as of summer 2025, but they clearly still need some work to weed out the bad apples. This has been a horrible experience, from the purchase of a new Ford F150 to the maintenance repairs. I have found nothing good from service to sales and highly recommend not wasting your time or money going here. 2023 Ford F150 lightning purchased 02/17 Truck hasn't worked right since purchase, been in and out of the shop there 11 times and over 45 days. Truck is still not fixed right now. Lemon law started. No customer service, but they will tell you they are sorry. Just a blank sorry and nothing to fix the issues. I found a vehicle advertised for $13,999 and asked for the out-the-door price. I was shocked when it came back at $20,400. After breaking it down, I learned we would be paying over $3,500 in "dealer costs" -- things like tire and battery disposal, reconditioning, certification, and dealer-installed accessories we never requested. These are normal operating costs a dealership should already include in their pricing, not extra charges dumped on the customer at signing. This kind of pricing practice feels deceptive. Got my keys back and they had stripped three of my empty D-Rings off and a Bottle Opener, for no discernible reason other than to pocket them. I'm talking an inch and a half bottle opener and two tiny little half inch clips that didn't have anything on them. It might not seem like a big deal, but if someone has sticky fingers for something so small and ridiculous, imagine the temptation they must feel with anything else in your car. I had to go home and scour my truck for anything else that might be missing, just to find that my seatbelt cutter is also missing, my visor on the passenger side (absolutely no reason for them to be in there). I would 100% take pictures of your car and strip your vehicle before dropping it off. The tech is right, I don't think they'd go as far to steal something high profile, but somebody there is definitely rummaging through your shit for smaller souvenirs. Crackhead behavior on a $2,000 invoice at an official dealership has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I could care less about the actual value of what they took, it's the principle and having to secure my truck like that after handing over that much money to someone. This is not a service oriented business this place sucks no communications and couldn't get a tire serviced that they screwed up when they installed it serviced. I dipped it off at 11am and was told they had appointments but they may not get it fix today it would be next day but would let me know guess what no call no update they just assumed that I would be ok with them keeping overnight without giving me a call then I call 10 am they said that it was in the stall and I was told she would go see what was going on and get back to me crickets again called at 12 she said it was not yet in for repairs but would check on it again crickets called at 2 pm it was out for test dive making sure it was repaired guess what they still hadn't worked on it and it might not be done on second day. I told her I'm coming to get it. I was lied to more than once and I couldn't get a repair done on a product I purchase the week before and they act like they didn't care. They said they had appointments ahead of me so they will never get your car fixed even when it's a ford warranty or their own warranty don't buy a vehicle from them they have no plans to service your car just because you buy it there but more importantly even if they did the repair the won't cover your warranty on your time so unless your car is not needed you should not get repairs done by cocoa ford read more

I've tried my best to be patient with Cocoa Ford, fka Paradise Ford. Given them time to adjust to new ownership, cutting of staff, remodeling of the customer waiting area (service) and service facility, financial impact from the pandemic, etc. In as much as I'd like to stay loyal, with some thought, I'm about ready to sever ties. Here are my complaints: No oil changes on Saturdays (although many repair shops have closed on Saturdays) Extra-long waiting times for appointments and oil changes/service work 3% fee for credit cards No longer rotate tires - for free - after purchasing all tires for almost $2,000 just a few months ago. Decided to stop providing that service. I can understand maybe future/new tire customers - but not customers that recently purchased tires and were "sold" that benefit. Shoddy work - for basic oil changes, rotations, etc. 8 months ago - new tires not mounted properly (not bolted down) and drive off with horrible shaking and almost an accident merging into SR 520 2 years ago - Air filter not installed properly - so the car stalled when accelerating onto SR 520 No cabin filters/air filters in stock for my generic Ford Explorer. Service rep asks if I'd like new filters while having an oil change - and comes back and mentions they don't have any in stock! Make an appointment - and the car sits for over an hour before it gets moved into a bay. Took 2+ hours for an oil change. Why have an appointment? I had purchased a 2020 f150 march 25th thinking I would be safe with going to an actual ford dealership and I couldn't have been more wrong! I was better off going to a crappy used car lot. With in 3 days the car started to hard shift between 3rd and 4th I had called my salesman who put me in contact with the sales manager who said they had "noted" it down and that I should speak with the used car manager Dave who is quite difficult to get ahold of. Now barely 3 weeks (April 7) later and not even my first car payment in, I have a check engine light on with a "Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power" notice to where I went in person to see what they are willing to do which was practically nothing. Best they can do is waive a diagnostic fee that they can't fit me in till MAY!! Without even a loaner or any way to get to work!! But he (Dave) was very well rehearsed with letting me know there's no lemon law for used cars in Florida and how they don't have to be responsible for anything and that should have added a warranty to it Hardly standing by their own product of not even 3 weeks old!! Please STAY AWAY and take your business elsewhere!! NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE!!! My 18 year old son purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from Cocoa Ford on May 15, 2025 and we were very excited about his first purchase. Unfortunately, today, May 31, 2025 my son was driving the vehicle and it immediately began to malfunction. The engine began knocking and crackling and he was unable to idle past 30 mph. I had him pull over and we check the oil. There is absolutely no oil in the car I mean bone dry. How is it a car just purchased from Cocoa Ford 16 days ago and it has no oil. The seller stated he personally took the car in and the oil was changed, tires good, and car was fully inspected. If there is 0 oil in the car and you can only drive the car 30 minutes with no oil how did a multi point inspection not identify such an oil leak (if that's the case) or issue with oil retention somewhere. As a parent you can understand my immediate frustration. I called the dealership 3 times today with a promise to get a call back in which no one called I actually had to pull up to the dealership to speak with a Sales Manager by the name of Harland. He apologized for the inconvenience and then went straight into defense mode when I expressed my frustration regarding the situation. Harland basically scolded me and made it very clear the car is as is and we obviously drove it and thought it was good enough to buy so its basically now our problem. He even stated he could just say there nothing he can do and send us out the door. I continued to express my frustrations as due to there negligence in properly inspecting the vehicle my son almost got into an accident because the car wouldnt idle properly. The Managers empathy was not genuine, he was basically just checking of some steps in a service recovery model thay they seem to have learned learn. He even told me that he doesn't have to do anything basically. After I complained about the disservice he stated he would cover the diagnosis fee and we would be responsible for repairs as it it now our problem basically. I am very livid considering we trusted a million dollar company like Ford to make sure the vehicle we purchased would at least drive us for a period of time but not expecting that it would be 16 days and now my son is stuck with this car loan and car that isn't drivable and a tire warranty. They never even offered an extended service warranty. I would never recommend Ford to anyone and I hate we ever purchased a vehicle from here I wish we would have stayed with Honda as they have quality cars and service but they had no inventory.No one has thousands of dollars to pour down the drain! They don't care about you after the sale. They don't return phone calls like they say they will. To make things worse, they did the transfer on my registration wrong, reversed it and canceled it without telling me and I drove around for 10 months with expired plates. Didn't know until today January 2nd 2025 when I got stopped at a check point for drivers license, registration and insurance check. Cops said my tags were expired and my plate had a sticker on it saying expires on 4/26/25. The dealers fault. I was put in back of a cop car, as they called a tow truck. They finally verified after over an hour that it was the dealers fault and not mine. They let me go and then I went in to a bad anxiety attack which is part of my VA Disability. I am suing them and filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. I am also contacting the news media and also Ford Motor Company. I will be writing reviews about this dealership anywhere I possibly can. Do not buy from this company. read more

Dealer under new ownership, thought I would give them a chance to repair my problem car still under warranty. Brought the vehicle on Friday June 14th and asked that if the repairs would take more than 3 days, I would require a loaner, they told me they would get back to me on Monday. I didn't get any information on my car until July 3rd, no loaner given or even offered. Car was finally ready on July 22nd ( over 35 days later, yet no loaner provided ). So my travel expenses all had to come out of pocket. When I went to pick up the Vehicle, They had the AUDACITY to ask me for a 235 diagnostic fee because one of the things wasn't covered under warranty ( which they didn't repair ). Even though they had to diagnose the vehicle for the other multiple repairs performed under warranty. Keeping in mind they never provided me with a loaner so I had to spend a LOT more than that during the 36 days I was out of a car. SO the minimal courtesy would have been to not charge the BOGUS fee, since the car had to be diagnosed and put on a lift for the other repairs anyways. read more

Last week, I went into Cocoa Ford to look for a new used truck. I made an appointment ahead of time and went to see a specific truck that had been sold before I got there. I was very up front about what I wanted to spend and mentioned that I expected a decent APR because I knew how good my credit was. They showed me several vehicles, some were really nice, and in my price range, but not exactly what I was looking for. I asked to see all of the trucks they had. Most of them were out of my price range or not quite what I was looking for. But one truck was never mentioned. When I asked about it, I was told it was brand new to the lot, and the salesman didn't know anything about it. While it's possible, I had screenshot a picture of this exact truck 2 days earlier from their website. Regardless, it was the style and price I was looking for. I took it for a test drive and fell in love. I was ready to discuss terms. They offered ne a decent trade for my car. I will give them credit for that, but then the lies began. I was told there was something on my credit keeping them from being able to give me a competitive APR. I asked what that was and was told only the manager hs access to that information. I asked to speak with this manager and he would not come speak to me. They never even told me what APR they were offering. they just kept coming up with monthly payments. They told me they couldn't possibly get my payment down to something I was willing to pay unless I put 5,000 down. I thanked them and left. Felt very confused and like they were trying to scam me. Wanted a $691 monthly payment on a 23,000 loan for 72 months. If I gave them 10,000 down, my payments would have been around $442.00 monthly for 72 months. That was on a 13,000 loan. The math wasn't mathing. I went home and ran the numbers. Wanted to see what I could do since I loved the truck so much. They said they would call the next day. Never heard a word. But that is ok. BecUse I called my bank. Asked them if they could give me a loan. They took some basic info and ran a credit check that I was immediately notified of through credit karma. Immediately approved me at a competitive APR. I continued to look at other vehicles in the meantime and found myself a different car dealership. They offered to also run my credit to get me the best delivery on any car. Again, I got an immediate notification from credit karma. At this point, I realized the Cocoa Ford dealership never did a hard inquiry. The next two dealerships I went to told me my credit was amazing and I could choose any car I wanted. The last one, a separate Ford dealer,told me I was targeted as a single woman, and they assumed I wouldn't understand the math. Be careful out there, folks.
