The team was very helpful kind considerate understanding they found a way to get us approved. It was amazing. They also took both our trade-ins and gave us a really great deal for them paid off our old loans & put us in a brand new 2025 Ford F150. I can't say enough about this dealership they're amazing. We're definitely gonna refer friends, and family, and I'm definitely gonna buy another truck from them in the future. They treat you like family. They will do anything to find a way to get you approved. They will help you. They will listen. They will find the right vehicle for you as well too. Ps. Stop by talk to Frank, Juan or Jason one of the managers. Tell them you only want to deal with them. They will make sure they will make you feel at ease. I'm sharing my experience purchasing a used vehicle from Cocoa Ford because of serious concerns…read moreabout how my financing and credit inquiry were handled. After approximately two weeks of negotiating the price and working through various markups and add-ons, we finally reached an agreement. Despite my top-tier credit, someone in the finance department told me that 9.4% was the best rate they could offer. They encouraged me to seek outside financing if I could do better. Within five minutes, my bank approved me at 6.4%. Because I live three hours away, I arranged to visit the dealership to inspect the vehicle, get the out-the-door price in writing, and leave a deposit before finalizing my bank loan. My plan was to return two days later, on Saturday, with a cashier's check and complete the purchase. During my visit, I clearly explained those intentions to Alex Braun in financing and my salesman, Andy. Alex repeatedly encouraged me to finance through one of the dealership's lenders. I told him I would only consider that if he could beat my bank's rate. He said 9.4% was still the best he could offer--three percentage points above my bank's rate. Nevertheless, he continued suggesting that I take the dealership's loan and then pay it off with my bank's loan. I firmly declined. I wanted a straightforward transaction and explicitly stated that I did not want two loans for one vehicle. Alex and Andy then told me they needed to pull my credit to hold the truck. They said that even with a deposit, someone else could purchase it the next day unless they checked my credit. I questioned this, explaining that holding the vehicle was the purpose of my deposit. After considerable discussion, they assured me that the inquiry would be a soft pull, would not lower my credit score, and would not be submitted to any banks to shop for financing. Relying on those specific assurances, I reluctantly agreed. I then waited approximately an hour while Alex and Andy met privately in the finance office several times. Eventually, they returned with paperwork and a temporary tag, telling me I could take the truck home that evening. I declined and reiterated that I would return Saturday with my bank's check. When Alex presented the paperwork for my signature, I understood that we were preparing the purchase documents for Saturday. After initialing the first page, I turned to the second and saw a 9.4% annual interest rate. At that point, I realized I was being presented with dealership financing documents despite having repeatedly declined that arrangement. I stopped signing, expressed my anger and concern, and left. On the drive home, I received a Credit Karma alert reporting a hard inquiry from Cocoa Ford, along with a decrease in my credit score. This directly contradicted the assurances I had received about a soft inquiry. I ultimately returned and purchased the truck because it was the specific vehicle I had been searching for and was difficult to find. However, completing the purchase does not change my concerns about what happened. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend obtaining your own financing quotes and carefully reviewing every document before signing. The dealership offered me 9.4%, while my bank approved me at 6.4%. More concerning was being presented with financing I had explicitly declined and seeing a hard inquiry after being assured the credit check would be a soft pull. I found this experience misleading, unprofessional, and deeply troubling. Customers should be able to trust that their financing decisions will be respected and that statements about credit inquiries will be accurate. My experience at Cocoa Ford left me without that trust.

In the end, I let them take repossession of the car, bc I could no longer afford it, and they STOLE $500 from my bank account, using the debit card info I had trusted to them for payments. As it turned out, the Amigo had been sold and not yet removed from the website, even now when I write this review it's still listed. We were instructed to travel a few miles more to their "budget" lot as I'll call it to see the Jeep. We found it but the Jeep had a flat tire that was well into the black top. All of these vehicles were around the side and back of this repair shop so I went around to the business to ask about the Jeep and to my surprise that repair shop had nothing to do with the ten or so vehicles littered around. At this point we decided to just head back home. Yes, I should've called first to confirm their inventory but no where on their website is it listed that their lower priced cars are at another location several miles away.

He often goes out of his way to help his customers, I when I said that he is always willing to go out of his way, I'm mean from the day you make your initial down payment on your vehicle, until the day you make your final payment, he is there for you. He's definitely a man of integrity, which isn't something that you come across easily these days. Don't get me wrong, he's has a business to run, and he's tough when he needs to be. That being said, he will bend over backwards to take care of his customers, he is just that kind of person. 14 years has passed since I first met Steve, and I still think back on my experience with purchasing from RJL fondly. Additionally, Steve personally picks out each vehicle he sells, really takes the time to purchase the best cars for his customers, then services them to make sure they are in top running condition, and finally, he sells them at a reasonable price. I've heard customers say, on numerous occasions, that their experience with purchasing a care from RJL has been so great, that they now refuse to purchase their vehicles from anyone else but Steve. I actually went by went by RJL recently (after 14 years...) and I can safely say that Steve hasn't changed one bit, he's still the super awesome, easy to talk to, and kind hearted person that sold me one of my favorite cars to date (a 96 Mitsubishi Eclipse), he's still the same, hard working, caring person, that was so good to me all those years ago. He cares not only for the quality of his business, but for his overall reputation, for his customers, for his employees, and he's also one of those rare business owners who genuinely cares about offering his customers a quality product and at a reasonable price. You can pretty much guarantee that any vehicle you decide to purchase from RJL is going to be a good one, he's not one to cut corners at the expense of his customers, if anything he put's the needs of his customers above all else, even his overall profit from a sale. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from RJL, please take my word for it and don't hesitate to purchase from Steve. He has a great selection of quality vehicles, competitive pricing, and offers excellent customer service, service that I guarantee you won't find anywhere else. On top of all of this, he's actually cares about his customers, and that is not something you find everyday... especially when purchasing a car.

This dealer is no kind of business man, and should be put out of business. Grok diagnosed my issue, but none of the local auto shops could get me in, and my car was dying at intersections. Kia got me in the same day that I called, concurred with the Grok diagnosis, and resolved the issue before lunchtime... and bonus, didn't charge me an obscene fee. My first interaction with Jackson Kia started online after I received a Kelley Blue Book offer for my vehicle. Shortly after, I began receiving multiple calls from the dealership expressing strong interest in purchasing my car. During the first conversation, I was completely transparent that I was currently in a lease with Acura but was interested in potentially getting out of it and purchasing a Kia. From the start, the experience felt pressured. A manager told me I needed to make an appointment and made a point to say that if I didn't come in, it would take away from other customers and the dealership. That immediately made me uncomfortable. That same week, I received at least five more calls from different salespeople asking when I was coming in. I explained multiple times that my fiancé was also purchasing a truck that day and that we would come in when we could. I was told they would be "ready" & "roll out the red carpet" for us. When we arrived, it was clear they had no idea who I was. A salesperson sat down with us, pulled up inventory, and took notes on all of the vehicles I was interested in. Once I mentioned my Acura lease, he brought over a manager who immediately began asking how much I owed. At that point, I simply wanted the offer on my vehicle that they had aggressively contacted me about. Instead, I was told Acura blocks dealerships and they couldn't help me get out of the lease. That was fine - I said I'd handle that myself and reiterated that I was still interested in purchasing a Kia, cash. While there, my fiancé asked for an appraisal on his Toyota 4Runner to compare it to another dealership's offer. They were gone for less than five minutes and came back with "about $10,000," handed him the keys, closed the browser, shook our hands, and ushered us out. No breakdown, no effort. I wasn't even offered the chance to see a single vehicle I had come in for. For context, another dealership had already offered him $24,000, and the next one offered over $20,000. The offer from Kia was an obvious lowball & made it clear they had no interest in working with us once they realized the lease situation wasn't easy. We walked out stunned wondering if that actually just happened. The next day, I received a text from a manager saying, "We're sorry we missed you yesterday." This showed a complete lack of communication, considering I had been physically in the dealership the day before. I explained what happened and commented that the "red carpet" they promised felt like a joke. Trying to recover the situation, the manager told me there were "ways around" the lease and encouraged us to come back. After confirming details with Acura, we foolishly gave them another chance. During this visit, the same manager accidentally sent me a text clearly meant for another employee about an upset customer arriving--unprofessional, but consistent with the pattern. He hyped up what he called an "insane, crazy deal" on a vehicle listed around $32,000, already over my stated $30,000 budget. He returned with a final number of $43,000 out the door, including nearly $11,000 in fees, one of which was an almost $5,000 mandatory warranty. If a fee is not optional, it should be included in the advertised price. These fees were significantly higher than every other dealership we visited. We walked away. We went on to work with several other dealerships including Dodge, Toyota, Honda, Acura, etc., and I can confidently say this was the worst experience. One dealership even warned us not to go to Jackson Kia because of poor service and excessive fees. Ironically, I did decide to purchase a Kia--just not from Jackson Kia. The lack of communication, aggressive pressure followed by dismissal, and outrageous fees made this one of the most stressful car-buying experiences I've ever had. I will absolutely be warning others to avoid this dealership, because I would hate for anyone else to go through what we did.

I texted them, I called them and asked for updates on the issue and what they were going to do about it over and over, they would tell me they are going to call me and talk to me about it and very rarely did they actually go and call me until I nagged on and on about it. I first called to ask for a quote for a specific repair job for a specific car. They would not provide a quote over the phone as a couple of other shops did. They insisted I bring the car in for diagnosis, so at the appointed time I showed up with the car. After three hours of waiting, they provided a quote for the service I asked for that was ~50% higher than the next closest quote. They also did a 'courtesy inspection' which I did not ask for. This inspection resulted in 7 additional recommended items totaling about $1,800. Things like this fluid change, that cleaning, etc. The car has 300k miles on it, and the majority of these items have never been done. The experience reminds me of the slick marketing we get at the dealership repair shops, and is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by choosing a 'family-owned' shop. The actual work product may in fact be excellent; I don't know. But it is probably over priced.
