It often feels like there are new staff members who are still learning the ropes. Everyone I've interacted with has been polite and friendly, but the lack of experienced employees shows in the overall service. One area that stood out to me was the night supervisor's management style. Every interaction has felt very rigid and impersonal, with little warmth or customer service. It comes across as overly controlling rather than supportive, and I can imagine that type of environment contributes to the constant turnover. I genuinely enjoy the food, but I think this store would benefit from stronger leadership, better employee development, and a greater focus on creating a positive experience for both customers and staff.

But apparently, my wife mentions that this place hired the chef from a sichuan place in plano. We ended up getting: the duck blood, pig feet with jalapeño, hot and sour soup and braised eggplant w/ garlic sauce. Out of the entrees, i loved the eggplant with garlic sauce. It goes so well with rice. whatever you do, definitely get it. The duck blood "soup" also came with other items like spam, tripe and intestines and veggies. It was numbing and spicy, but definitely not too crazy. Also the hot and sour soup was amazing. The Ambiance is really laid back. There are a few seats inside, and i feel like its more like a take to go type of place. But in the front, you'll see the poke section. but in the back you can definitely hear the wok going off when cooking chinese food. I also got a passion fruit green tea drink and it was perfectly made. If you're craving authentic chinese food, come here. Its not cheap, but 10x better than Panda Express.

Instead of simply directing customers to the self-service kiosks, Cyncere invited me to place my order with her personally, making the experience feel much more welcoming and engaging. She also took the time to introduce me to the rewards program and explained its benefits in a friendly, professional manner. She even suggested adding an almond cookie to my order without ever making me feel pressured. Rather than simply calling out my order number when it was ready, Cyncere personally brought my food directly to my table. It was a small gesture, but one that made a real difference in the overall experience. From my perspective, Cyncere is intentionally focused on customer engagement rather than simply processing transactions. She looks for opportunities to make every interaction a positive one, and that kind of initiative is something customers notice and appreciate. I also wanted to recognize what I believe is genuine management potential. Throughout my visit, Cyncere consistently demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a natural instinct for hospitality. Those qualities are difficult to teach and are invaluable in a leader. I would encourage upper management (and even other customers) to simply observe her interactions during future visits and see if they come away with the same impression I did. Based on what I experienced, I believe she has the customer focus, leadership instincts, and commitment to service that could make her an excellent candidate for increased responsibility in the future. Thank you, Cyncere, for making what could have been an ordinary meal into an exceptionally positive experience.
