Finally decided to try this place and unfortunately the boba ruined it for me. I ordered my go to, Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Overall the actual drink was tasty but boba plays a large part of the drink and the boba on this day was not good. Because it was undercooked, it was hard instead of chewy. So I was spitting out boba balls as I drank. I clearly couldn't enjoy the drink and after paying around $6 for a drink, I felt like I wasted my money. The place itself was simple and clean. They do offer a self service order kiosk. The customer service is eh. Not friendly but not rude. Just not engaging.

Weve been here a few times for boba and another time for the rolled ice cream. Both times were great!

Good drinks but the drinks are not really cold and couldn't really taste the caramel in the caramel latte bubble tea.

I've been here a few times now and every time, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The shop itself is small but very cute. The teas are great and fresh. The boba is cooked perfectly each time too. The rolled ice cream is absolutely fantastic and so many options! I can't wait to go back.

My sister introduced me to this place. What a nice little addition for Crystal Lake! They have everything from Thai rolled ice cream, bubble teas, egg waffles, puddings, crepe boxes, and much more. In my opinion, beverages are where they shine. Its not just bubble tea, they have milk cloud tea, cheese tea (try it), fruit tea, tea smoothies, tea lattes...let my thumbs catch their breath. To further elaborate, their teas consist of roasted oolong, assam tea, jasmine green tea, and matcha. Decisions decisions. You truly have the opportunity to change it up and add a unique flare to your non-alcoholic drink game here. Look at some of these flavors; brown sugar milk, mint lime, kumquat lime (delicious), lime passion fruit, cheese, taro, mango...! In addition to a healthy medley of rolled ice cream flavors and waffles, they have even more dessert options of puddings and cake. They have pastic/plexiglass protection and you can order your items on their touch screen kiosk as well as order ahead and pick up to save time. I will surely be back. For now, I can only imagine how refreshing some of these drinks are in the summer.

I was in dire need of a Boba Tea fix and decided it was about time to check out Coco Rolls, which opened up earlier this year in a shopping center here in Crystal Lake. What a cute, vibrant place! Admittedly, I wasn't able to go inside due to social distancing, but I can tell already that this will be a great place to catch up with friends AND get a delicious beverage. As a tea drinker, I've gotten used to having limited options at traditional coffee shops. That's why I love boba tea places so much-- there are tons of options that don't include coffee! Coco Rolls is no exception. Their menu is huge and also includes rolled ice cream and Hong Kong Egg Waffles. It was a bit chilly outside to try the ice cream, but in the summer, I'll definitely be back to give that a taste. Today, I ordered a Peach Green Tea with Tapioca. I almost went for a milk tea, but I wanted something a bit lighter. I'm so glad I went with the Peach Green Tea- it was delicious! I'd recommend it! The price for the size of my drink was on point, too. I found their customer service to be great, which is important at Boba Tea places, as there are so many options and it can be hard to tell what tastes good together. Always wanting to try something new, I end up asking a lot of questions. I felt the staff was really friendly and didn't mind me asking about various drink preferences. Overall, I really like this place. I look forward to being able to sit inside and really enjoy the ambiance they've prepared for their customers. Until then, I now know where I'll go to get my boba tea fix, even if it's to-go!

One of my friends told me about this place and we decided to check it out. This place quickly adapted to social distancing--especially considering that the quarantine regulations kicked in about a week after they opened. I ordered an egg waffle with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and bananas. While the waffle took a little while to make, it was toasty and delicious! All the ingredients paired beautifully together. There were also plenty of benches outside, so it was easy to relax and enjoy a snack. I definitely plan on coming back to try some of their teas and rolled ice creams!

Good tasting bubble tea. Assortment of teas and fruit smoothies. Along with ice cream and rolled ice cream. Lychee jelly has good texture and flavor. Open late which is a huge plus. Especially for this area

Deliciousness in a cup. Boba is very fresh and chewy. Although it's a bit of a wait because it's two guys running the store and lots of business, it's worth the wait. Tea is about enjoying the moment, anyway. The brown sugar woolong/oolong is very satisfying. Keep supporting Asian businesses!

Wow! I'm so impressed by this place. We ordered the Black Humor Thai ice cream, the fruity pebbles Thai ice cream, the summer escape Thai ice cream, an egg waffle cone with chocolate ice cream, and a brown sugar bubble tea. The order took about 10 minutes to get, we got to watch them roll the ice cream in the shop, and everything was DELICIOUS! It wasn't very busy (around noon on a Sunday). The shop itself is beautiful and very clean. The menu was posted on multiple places and was easy to read and understand. They had a kiosk to order on and also took orders in person, so great for introverts or people with social anxiety. There was hand sanitizer available, and everyone had masks on. It was such a great first experience with this shop. I can't wait to go back and try more items!

I went back because I really wanted to try their Korean Fried chicken wings. If you've read my…read moreprevious review and then you know that I applaud Cloud Tea for providing different ethic cuisine (especially korean) here in the LITH, Algonquin, and CL area. I had no lunch plans and I knew exactly what I wanted for lunch. I arrive and the girl at the counter was having a bad day and I could tell. She avoided all any eye contact with me, she did not want to engage in any small talk and she was there to receive a pay check and that was that. Ok fine, I get it we all have bad days, just get me my food then. I ask her "how spicy is the spicy check wings?" So goes, "they are alright spicy." WTF, I'm giving a puzzling look and I'm not sure how to respond to that statement but whatever, I get it your cat died, your bf just broke up with you, your car insurance just went up 5%, sure I get it. I place an order for the spicy chicken wings and I wait. I take in the ambiance and it's a great place to chill and grab some bubble tea and lunch. I wait about ten mins and my wings are ready! When I walked up to get my wings I noticed there was some mochinut and I had to get some! I get three flavors, strawberry, taro, and green tea and then I head home to sample the food with my family. First up were the wings, they were scary looking but in a spicy kind of way. Was my stomach and whatever after comes after ready for these wings? I sure hope so! So I went in for my first bite and I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were super good! The flavoring and everything was fire, flame, hit the spot good. And the spice level was 'alright' (see what I did there?), it had a kick but nothing that my kids couldn't handle. My wife enjoyed the wings as well and she said they were good. I'm glad I stopped by and got the fried chicken wings to try because they were amazingly delicious and I'll be back for more. I finished off my lunch and tried some mochinut and they were good as well and you don't have any complaints from me on the food. The service on the other hand, get a new girl who wants to come to work and put on a smile. Like I said I understand we all have bad days but for me to write it in my review it must have been really bad. Great job on the food Cloud Tea. Happy to have you guys in the area and keep up the good food. You've earned your 4 start review.
