I am VERY picky about my nails and that is why it is so hard to find a good nail shop that does great service and is super professional. The bad: I was not greeted when I walked in. I told them the services I needed and they looked confused (fill in, Spa pedicure and wax) and took about 15 minutes before letting me know where to sit. The woman who was doing my pedicure splashed water all over my legs and upper body (ummm what are you doing) which is tacky. The lady doing my nails ended up not knowing how to make my nails "flat & skinny" & round. The price for a acrylic fill is ridiculous. It was about $41 what?!?!? My eyebrows were $10 and my pedicure was $25 + my tip for the 3 people who provided the service. I definitely think she was lying about the price which is terrible. Overpriced for no reason. The shop is hard to find but you can park on the street. The good: The shop is clean. The guy who took over doing my nails was very attentive. He made them into a good round shape but I wanted them thinner. I did not know if they would do a good job so decided not to get a design and matte color, I stuck with the basics just in case If I ever returned to this shop I would only want the guy that works here to do my nails because he was the most professional and actually listened to what I wanted. read more

I love this place, Amy and her staff take care of their customers well, I have been here twice for a dip mani and reg pedi and have never had any bad service or issues, and my nails looked good for weeks!!! Came here as it was the only salon with walk in availability in the area that day. It is a pretty big salon but it's dark and doesn't look very clean. They did put a liner on the pedicure tub which I appreciated. The service itself was efficient and prompt I probably won't come back unless I am in time crunch. read more

The service was horrible, and the workers are extremely rude. The woman giving me a pedicure didn't bother to remove my cuticles... messed up the nail polish on my toes and didn't fix it. I paid $10 to get my calluses removed and she didn't remove anything and continued to scrub the center of my foot. When the woman asked if I wanted a manicure and I said no she turned to her coworker and giggled while they both looked at and pointed at both my hands and feet . Will not be going back!!! read more

This is my go-to neighborhood salon for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. They use a new pedicure spa cover for each client, and a new pack of tools as well. The 3 minute massage is an added bonus. Nick is best for your manicure since he has a great attention to detail. It's best to make an appointment a day or two in advance since they usually have only 3 staff in at a time. I also appreciate the calming instrumental music and cooking videos on their TV. I just love the SP nail salon. I come here every 3-4 weeks to get a regular pedicure and a dip manicure. If you haven't tried "dip" I would highly recommend it. I think it's so much better than gel and it gives you the same results. It also last a bit longer than gel. Plus it doesn't make your fingers hurt because you won't have to put your hands under the UV light. read more

First time customer and first time getting the SNS (dipping powder) nails. Status of nails before service: short, rounded-square shape, and clear polish. Slow Wednesday - had an appointment with Nick. I'm not sure of the manicure process when getting dipped nails, but I didn't get the usual manicure treatment. I had clear polish on so he cleaned it off and began with the electric nail buffer. There was no nail filing/shaping of the natural nails during this time, which I found odd. But it was done after the powder was set. Cuticles and sides of the nails were not cut - the buffer did a little of it. Dip, polish coat, dip, polish coat, dip, polish coat...you get the point. He used the electric buffer to buff down the top then proceeded with filing the nails. I normally do a rounded side - straight shape nails - but this time I wanted to try a slight rounder top. It was definitely a bad idea. Turned out more round than I wanted - short and rounded shape nails are not pretty. I usually file my own nails before I get them done for that reason. Techs rarely get the shape I want right or they file it too short. Yes, I'm really particular with the shape of my nails, so it's really bothering me when I look at it right now. I don't put all the blame on the tech I asked for it. Also, it's a little painful after the polish has hardened and you're filing the nails. I noticed after how thick of a lift the polish is from the side profile. Like if you put too much polish on it, it looks like a bump. Definitely not even with the fingernails (see side photo). Lastly, he didn't quite give me a clean finish after it was all done. A nice sea salt hand scrub at the end, and it was done. You know the glue/polish gunk under the nails after a manicure, well all of that was left. I was picking it off on my drive home, then using one of my nail tools to get most of it out. BUT, I do LOVE the color. A milky white! Nick is nice and soft-spoken. I think if my nails were a bit longer, it would look nicer. I wouldn't mind going back to him - maybe just ask to shape the nails first then the clean up after the nails are done. I usually pay $35 for regular gel manicure and reg. pedicure at my usual place, so spending $40 +tip was a bit steep. Definitely a fan of the dipping method, it's so much healthier on your skin - no UV light or stinky chemical polish! The place is clean, and not too much chatter with the staffs. Hopefully, my next visit will be a 4/5 star! read more

Got a pedicure, woke up in then middle of the night with a throbbing big toe, hurt so bad. Returned the next day to tell them, they sat me back and down and proceeded to DIG into the side of my nail. I was in tears!!!! They asked if it felt better, if the pressure was relieved, I said "no" they told me it was because of the work they did - I should feel better later. They used tweezers and impacted the side of my nail with cotton, told me to take it out that night and soak my foot in hydrogen peroxide. I knew something was wrong, I made an appointment with a podiatrist and when I went in he was appalled at what they had done! When I told him about the cotton he said it must have fallen out because he didn't see it, I told him about the tweezers, he then had to dig into the side AGAIN to find the cotton and pull it out. He emphasized there is absolutely no reason they should have done this!!! I have a bad infection and am now on antibiotics for a week. I so regret coming here! read more

Sad to say that after my experience yesterday I will not be coming back. This was my go-to nail salon for 3 years but will need to find a new place. I went to get a regular manicure and pedicure like I always do. The lady that did my pedicure was super nice and gentle. But the lady that did my nails was not. One hand looks super different from the other one, she completely ruined the shape of my nails. Not only that but she cut my cuticle too much and made me bleed. Don't understand what happened as this lady has done my nails before and never had an issue. Maybe it was an off day for her but it was enough for me to not want to come back here. read more
