I will say that the shop itself is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The only down side is that they are one of the more pricey nail salons! 15$ extra for gel polish for your nail and 15$ extra for gel polish for your toes! Everything was wonderful, I just believe that they should ask you if you want extra service before they give it so you don't get charged extra. I visited this establishment today with my five year old daughter and was refused service simply because I changed my mind upon leaving the front reception desk when told the price of gel polish for my 5 year old daughter in the amount of $40! I went in the back to be seated and told the young lady to polish my daughter's nail with regular polish verses gel polish and then I changed the request to gel polish on her toes and regular polish on her nails. The owner says $27 and I said ok the money was never the issue but I have the right to change my mind concerning anything I'm paying for! I went in for a dip powder manicure and chose black as my color. The manicurist filed my nails crooked and then blamed the length of my nails for their crookedness. She then left the black dip powder all over my cuticles and fingers after finishing my nails. She was irritated with me when I asked her to please remove the powder that remained after washing my hands. Her words were "a couple hand washes and that would have gone away." I thought I had finally found the nail shop that I had been looking for, but after 3 visits to this shop, they proved to be just like every other nail shop I've frequented in Fayetteville. I decided to visit this place 3 times before leaving a review because I wanted to make sure that the service I received the first time, would be equal or better on my 3rd visit, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The first two times that I visited this business, I was welcomed with a warm greeting, I was asked about the services I was seeking and within a few short minutes, I was seated and had my feet resting in warm water. The first couple of visits my mani and pedi were done by men. The first time I was in heaven, everything was just right: water temp, massage, cuticle care - everything was great. The second time I went, my pedicure was amazing, I almost fell asleep, however, my manicure was really quick and not enough attention to detail was paid to my nails. This third and final time that I visited this location, I was greeted and seated as usual, but this time the nail tech that was assigned to me was an older woman, who had NO IDEA what she was doing. She did a poor job on my basic mani/pedi and because of her poor job, I will not return to this location. I have been using Coco Nail Bar for years and was always very pleased with their work. However, lately they have been over charging for subpar service. Lately my nails break within a week and with no explanation, other than the techs using a little bit of powder to keep the nails super thin. Today I was charged $80 for a new nail set with one color and no design. The actual charge for a new acrylic set, based on their website and flyers, is $30 plus $15 for gel color. In total for a pedicure and new set I just paid $133! I usually pay that much if I've included eyebrows and lip wax plus nail design. I'm very disappointed with the price gouging and will not return, after 4 years of being a loyal customer! read more

I just moved here so I was trying out nail soots, to figure out which ones were better. This one cane up in my search because it was close to my work. The website for this business is easy to nagivate and clear in what services they offer. Although I am unsure if the online appointment scheduler is accurate, they were still able to accommodate me at my requested time and an additional services that I did not book. The atmosphere is pleasant. I got a pedicure and an acrylic nail set. The pedicure was done so thoughtfully by the lady, she put lemons in the water (one of their packages) and was so nice to my feet. Next the nail set, it was wonderful. The nail artist had several different and new nail art that I could tell he wanted to do but I was just interested in a classic French manicure. He didn't talk much but was very methodical in his work. Also when I checked out I got free cuticle Oil. Very nice touch! I returned only 2 days later with a chunk of my right thumb nail missing due to an accident. I went in a couple days later than the original appointment, and the lady that fixed it was brilliant!! This salon was once really popular with outstanding service. I feel like since they've moved to a bigger location they've lost their touch. It definitely feels rushed when you're serviced and there aren't many people there that have good customer service. I recently heard that people have stopped going there because their nails haven't been lasting anywhere near as long as before, I think they've changed the products they use. Despite this, I got a pedicure and dipping powder. Well, my dipping powder nails started popping off only a couple of days after getting them done (no hard wear and tear or anything out of the norm with my hands) and the skin under my big toe started to itch. So, I said someone else could do my pedi while I'm waiting for the tech to finish with her client because I had a busy day for my B-day. They give me the older lady in which I always have problems with her polishing my toes. I told the lady in the beginning, and throughout my service that she don't have to worry about my color because I won't need her to polish my toes & my nail tech will polish them if she had time. She became upset at the end of my service because she tired to do French tip on my toes ANYWAYS & they were lumpy and ugly from too much polish as always. I wasn't understanding why she was upset because I told her this before she started my service. She begin speaking her language. Then the owner comes over and TELLS me this woman is going to paint my toes and I will have to schedule an appt with the tech I was waiting for because she will not be available to do my nails TODAY. I was upset at this point from the change of information suddenly. I stayed calm, and requested another tech which one of my daughter's goes to, to do my nails since inconveniently now my tech can't do my nails according to the unprofessional owner. The owner said that the requested tech didn't want to do my nails and I would need to make an appt for another day. I politely ask the lady to stop the service and to remove the polish. I Paid for our service and left. Word of mouth is the best Walking billboard! I'm a stylist, so I know! I won't be back, nor my family, or clients. If I could give 0 stars I would've. I also had my baby daughter with me who received a pedi that day. She was upset but I taught her a valuable lesson that day. Was my husbands first time ever having it and he said that was the worst experience ever and he never wanted to go through that again. We were both bleeding as well after the pedicure. Horrible service by the manager! I showed her the ombré look I wanted and that I wanted a coffin full set with SNS powder and gold glitter on 4 fingers. She then explained to me that she couldn't do ombré with dip even though I had that look achieved at Pearl Nails several times. I agreed for her to do it with ombré powder because that's how they do it. Since I agreed to her suggestion she wanted to charge me $10.00 for removal of my 1 month old dip. Mind you I have never gotten charged a nail removal fee to complete my nails at any place; especially dip because they have to remove them in order to dip them again. My total for the nails would be $75.00 for ombré powder full set and glitter on 4 fingers and that included $10.00 charge for removal of my old dipped nails. After she explained the pricing twice we agreed to only glitter on 2 nails and that brought total down to $70. She started to file the tips and when I explained that a finger nail on each hand was wider than its sister nail on the other hand, she stopped and told me she wasn't going to do my nails. I asked if she was serious and she said yes because I argued about the price and now I am correcting how my 2 nails looked out of 10 nails. Obviously, she couldn't take feedback and me double checking the price because it was my 1st time there. She may have also gotten upset because # 484 Sun of Pink didn't look the same color as what they had on the nail chart; which she agreed to paint an extra coat of another color to achieve the look. She told me she usually doesn't do the nails but they had 3 employees off and were super busy and she was managing which guests went to the available nail techs while also interrupting my process to freestyle nail art for another customer that another nail tech didn't know how too. Poor management etiquette because if you cannot meet the needs and/ or designs of your customers then don't say you can do it and overcharge because of your inexperience with certain techniques and powders. On the other hand Tracy does an amazing pedicure and massage; definitely worth the price and best I had in Fayetteville. I came here exactly a week ago to get an acrylic fill. The nail tech didn't communicate with me what I wanted, I asked if I could have color acrylic for my fill, instead he gave me a gel color which I was kind of upset about but I tried to understand due to communication issues. When filling my nails he completely over drilled which left rings of fire around my cuticle area and I was slightly bleeding from the cuticle on one finger. I have a clear nail on each hand and instead of reapplying clear acrylic, it was filled with pink acrylic. Today I was in the shower washing my hair and with no hesitation my nail completely popped off. I'm pretty disappointed because I wanted to love this place and I saw so many good reviews but I'm pretty disappointed and won't be going back. read more

Katie made it out like she would "fix" my nails by giving me a new set but no she still made me pay and even DOUBLE CHARGED ME. When I came back she didn't want to give me the money she stole but it's okay the bank gave it all back. She also didn't admit that her employee assaulted me by destroying my nails and trying to pull me to go to the other table when I said no multiple times. I got an acrylic fill-in and love my nail, the only downside is that the nail polish is slightly clumpy on my thumb but that's if you only look very closely, I'm a perfectionist. My last 3 times going have been subpar. I'm hoping that I won't have to search for a new place. I had my a manicure and a pedicure a few weeks ago. My Technichan was one of the new hires. She seemed to get agitated when I would ask her to redo something or would check behind her work. When I went there was not a huge crowd but she still seemed to rush my services. I received gel polish and wanted to ensure my nails were set but she never let the machine beep and even when I asked could I put it back in she just stood with the alcohol ready to spray as she motioned no with her hands and reached for my hands . I Two days later 3 fingers had chipped polish. I was traveling but returned as soon as I got back in town in to get them fixed (one thing I appreciate about them is their 7 day repair policy). The same young lady who did the initial service was tasked to correct them and within 2 days they chipped again!!! I didn't go back this time to have them fixed. I went in on Thursday for a polish change and planned to graciously decline if the same tech was offered, but luckily another one worked with me; she was new as well. She was nice but similar to the other seemed to get agitated when I double checked her work, etc. Within 2 days my polish was chipping. Now, 4 days later 4 nails are chipped. With my work schedule I can't always make it before they close or wait in the evening lines for nails to be fixed. I'm not sure if the new employees are rushing, polish brand changed, or what, but I sure hope my next visit is better than these past 3 or I'll be on a search for another nail salon again. If you get SNS and you ask for SNS manicure this does not include the traditional manicure. You are ultimately changing the color that's it! It is an extra $15 (I think) to get the manicure. I went back a second time and got SNS again. This time absolute garbage. Less than a week later the SNS was literally just falling off my nails. The entire powder came off like it was press on nails. I have been getting my nails done for years and this has never happened. So now I am "popping" the color off and in the market for a nail salon. read more

And I must say this is the worst nail salon I have ever visited in my entire life I went there for Christmas ask them if they was good at designs well my two-year-old grandson could have done better than they did with the design. And then to make matters worse two of my friends that go to her got amazing designs and was only charged $55 I got one line and a tiny heart and was charged $65 but was quoted 60. I called the owner today who by the way was very rude and told me basically she wasn't going to do anything about it she didn't say I am so sorry for your experience your next pedicure is on me or please come in and let us try and fix them for you know nothing this chick hung up on me she must not know who I am as soon as my daughter-in-law gets to this house I am heading right over there trust me on that this is absolutely ridiculous and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau now hang up on that. read more
