We stopped into Coco Fresh Tea & Juice after my son got his haircut next door at Luxury Crown Barbershop. They had a few kiosk where you can place your order which I'm a big fan of as I feel this is efficient and convenient. They also had some fun merchandise for sale such as a cute Coco Boba Plush, keychains, pins, cups and one of those fun machines where you fish for the plushies! So smart with all the merch!!! Clean and organized space too. We got a mango slushie and my son wanted lychee jelly, but they only offered coconut jelly. He's not a fan of coconut, so the idea of that option was not appealing to him. The young guy who is working overheard us and offered to let him try the coconut jelly as we were trying to let him know that it doesn't really taste like coconut so he might like it. Lucky for him, we were right and he ended up getting the coconut jelly. Ha. Score! Chris was the young guy who helped us and he was incredibly positive, friendly and just so personable. I really appreciate that as so many places lack customers service nowadays. Chris also noticed the shirt my son was wearing which was a Stranger Things Hellfire Club shirt. So they started chatting about Stranger Things. Such a nice guy! He got our order out pretty quickly and the mango slushie was tasty. My kid loved the drink but he didn't love the mango pieces in the drink which may have been a texture thing for him. I personally thought it was fine. But maybe because they weren't firm mango pieces, he didn't love that part. Everything else was wonderful. Thanks Chris for the awesome service on this particular day! My wife absolutely loves Bo Ba, and we really missed it ever since our favorite spot closed down. Recently, she discovered a new place in the same area, so we decided to check it out! It's a franchise with several locations, which I thought was fine since making Bo Ba milk tea isn't too complicated. You can definitely tell it's a chain by how they prepare the drinks, and they offer the convenience of ordering online or via a kiosk in-store. As for the taste, it's pretty good--nothing out of this world, but enjoyable. You get to customize your drink with your preferred sugar level and add extra toppings, which is a nice touch! They're consistently good with their drinks, they have a variety with fruity and milky teas--and you can adjust the sweetness and amount of ice. The staff are always friendly and take the time to explain their menu (including seasonal items/specials). I do appreciate that they regularly do specials for certain occasions like Chinese new year, pi day, with discounted prices or mini holiday gift with purchase like a pin or canvas cup holder. My favorites so far include the 3 guy (milk tea with boba, pudding, and grass jelly) and taro milk tea. For that sweet creamy indulgence, taro with the creme brûlée topping was great for me--I made the taro 0% sweet because the creme brûlée topping. Took it to-go and it lasted well in the fridge, the creme brûlée topping still intact by the time I drank it. The coco cake is also light and fluffy if anyone is craving a light sweet snack. Coco was one of my favorite chains to get boba at when I studied abroad in China a few years ago. So, I was very excited to try out this spot. I don't think it 100% stays true to my experience at other locations, but it's still a good spot for tea drinks. I got the fresh taro jasmine milk tea with sago. The sago was cooked well, not too chewy or squishy. And the taro was fresh and not powdered. However, the drink itself was wayyy too sweet. I got 50% sweetness, and it still felt like it was at 100%. That's my main complaint. Also, the boba inflation is crazyyy, my drink was nearly $10, and I only got 1 topping. I didn't factor price into my rating, but something to consider...if you're going to pay almost $10 for a drink, I think it should be really high quality. The menu offers a variety of drinks, from fruit teas to milk teas, to milk tea lattes. I was so happy to see you can have the option to have your drink either hot or cold! I had a Japanese matcha milk tea (hot), 70% sugar with boba and it was delicious - just the right amount of sugar and creaminess for a chilly day Inside is a clean cafe that's spacious enough for a quick stop. There's a new spot in Davie & it's CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice! Came here to grab a quick drink while in the area and opted for the Green Tea Yakult. The shop is small and clean but has a good amount of seating: 4 tables with 2-3 seats at each. They have wifi in case you want to bring your laptop and get a little bit of work done, which is what I did. The service was super friendly and helpful and my drink of choice was very good. You can control your level of sweetness and ice, which is also good. I like how they had a good amount of options but not to a point where it was overwhelming like some other drink spots. read more

Came here to get some work done and enjoy a refreshing boba and I will say, I did get work done and I enjoyed the boba, but there are some things that didn't sit right with me that maybe they'll improve on over time! I ordered their peach kefir drink and when I asked about changing the sweetness, the cashier looked at me confused as if I wasn't supposed to change the sweetness. She looked over at another person I may assume is the manager and he then tells me it's not recommended because the drink is pretty sour already. So I just trusted the process. I'm not sure if the AC is broken but it's hot here. I had to fan myself with my hand or a paper a couple of times and I'm actually the kind of person who gets cold easily so to overheat after drinking my boba (which got warm pretty quickly unfortunately) wasn't pleasant. I ran out of water in my water bottle so I asked if I can have a cup of water, in which most boba shops and coffee shops have, and the girl said they don't have water... Yikes. Idk how they make their teas without water. But let's get back into the good stuff: free wifi, cute mural, good boba consistency, and a good variety of drink options without being overwhelming. They just recently opened in this location, I wasnt expecting too much from another boba shop since there has been so many shops opening in the area but Coco Fresh pleasantly surprised me! First off, the decor is just so adorable! They have a mural of basically what represent florida with their Coco character I have enjoyed all the drinks that I have gotten so far from them! But my ultimate favorite is the Jasmine Brown sugar milk tea, its just the perfect combination of floral tea and also some sweetly cooked brown sugar boba! Visited this place after working a 12 hour shift looking for something refreshing. They have plenty of options to choose from. They have milk teas, green teas and slushies of different flavors. This is strictly a drink/tea shop so if you are looking for snacks, this is not the place. When I got there, it was quiet and there was no one in the store. I ordered and the owner (I'm assuming is the owner) immediately started making my drink. I got the mango green tea with coconut jelly with less ice and 70% sweetness. It has a slight mango taste and very refreshing. At 70% sweetness, I still thought it was a bit too sweet but that's just me. I'm going to try 50% next time. The coconut jelly was an ok consistency. I tried one of their new drinks, Osmanthus Floral Tea Latte, and it was perfection. I have tried milk teas in China and this was one of the closest ones I have tried in Florida. The tea is strong and fragrant and the milk gave it a nice silkiness. I was surprised there was whipped cream and nuts on it, but it did not make or break the drink. Never in a million years did I think CoCo would make it down to Florida but here they are and in 2 locations! I'm so glad there is one close to me in Boca Raton. I visited opening day and was pretty happy with their menu and prices. The shop is really large and there's plenty of space even though there aren't that many tables inside. I love this place for boba tea so much! They're really close to my house and I get to come here for a weekly treat! I love my Taro tea and I really appreciate that you can ask for the perfect amount of sugar. I take my boba tea at 30% sugar so it's not crazy sweet but still has that sweetness. This place is located in a smaller plaza which seems to have a few other Asian cuisines there as well. Walking in we were immediately greeted by the staff which were extremely friendly. There was a menu on the right side on the wall and 2 payment kiosks on your left side which they probably use if it gets busy. The music was played a low volume so it is very easy to have a conversation there if you decided to stay as there were several tables there on the inside as well as a couple on the outside. On the left front corner there is a wall mural highlighting similarities of characters like Harry Potter, Mickey and Minnie which they probably have there for their photo ops. One thing that really stood out from other boba tea places is that this place had "series" of teas; meaning a variety of brown sugar tea options as well as taro teas as well. Of course there are other specialty options as well as different flavored boba you can have as well. I had the brown sugar boba tea (the one with black tea) in it. This place in my opinion has the best tea and boba combo out of any other place I have ever had to date officially. The flavor of the tea was excellent and the boba size and amount was more than ample and had great flavor. I have been here twice and would definitely be back in the near future. read more

Super solid chain to open up in Broward! Took me a while to try this location but I'm glad I did! Location is nice with a good amount of seating on the inside. Service was great both times I was here, and super helpful as well. For drinks, I was recommended the pudding topping and that is what I'll extend to you as well. I came here for an event with Yelp. I decided to take my grandson with me. He's never had Boba Tea. Coco is located in a shopping center off of Stirling Road. Inside is very clean, tidy and cute. They have some tables and chairs inside to sit. There is no outside seating. Both my grandson and I enjoyed the event. The owner was present and was very kind and inviting. He is very knowledgeable with his products. He took his time in explaining certain drinks and items they use to create their drinks. He let my grandson try different bobas since he's never had them. Go! This place is great! The parking is so easy cuz the plaza is not busy. The inside is very cute and bright. The drinks are made fresh with quality ingredients. You really can taste the difference between powders and syrups vs. the actual ingredients of certain stores. And the employees are so helpful. They're always making suggestions trying to find what you'd be interested in. I'd say my only critique is that the items are not as customizable as other shops. For example I got the Brown Sugar Boba Latte and I'm not a fan of tapioca so I usually get that off, but keep the brown sugar syrup. They can't do that here. The pearls and syrup just come as one.
