I tried speaking to him again as he was speaking to his colleague and he was talking about me when I approached him to ask him his name and tried explaining that I didn't have an attitude he told me to leave. I decided to take my service else where before hand because I did not like his tone and attitude towards me. I will try a different location. I guess when I came in here I thought it'd be more like an old school arcade that happened to have booze in it. Sort of like that one place with rows upon rows of games, laser tag, bumper cars, and ticket machines, so you could win cheap plastic prizes while getting absolutely hammered. Think Stranger Things but fewer monsters and more high scores. Cowa-friggin-bunga. Unfortunately for my own imagination that was not the case. Still, they have some classic 90s games against the wall. Ninja Turtles (NOT Turtles in Time), Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, all manner of Pac-Man and others. Rightfully named The Dome Bar since it's... well... shaped like a dome lol. This bar is the main hotel bar for the Paso Del Norte hotel, it is a sight to behold in the daytime and then at nighttime. Whether it be a same day visit or a multi-visit experience, it is perfect for a pre-drink before going to a show at The Plaza or a just because outing. Reservations are not needed and there is first-come, first-serve seating around the bar. I've been there a few times when they have a pianist playing songs in the background. It's a bonus touch that I really admire. The drinks are pretty solid and they also have beer and wine for folks who might not want a stiff drink. I also love their take and approach when you ask for a non-alcoholic drink. Service can be five-star or servers can get a bit caught up with regulars (as with any establishment). Drink prices can be a little pricey; however, this is an absolute must for anyone.

It wasn't very crowded at all. It's a nice looking place. The drinks were very good! It would have been nice to have table service though. Then we went down to the lobby bar and it was pretty packed so we actually sat in some chairs in the lobby area as a staff member recommended. Of course there was no table service there either. It has plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and heat lamps for the cooler winter months. Very spacious. Inside, there's a full bar and restrooms. Tons of room, big dance floor and DJ area. The bar and staff are great. We had a VIP table here for NYE. But it's not just for parties. You can visit here whenever. Often, we will have a celebration dinner of some sort at 1700 Steakhouse downstairs. One time, for Judez birthday, they not only provided us with a bottle of champagne, but then afterwards they escorted us upstairs (10th floor - El Mirardor), and gave us a free drink or two on the rooftop.
