The gentleman running the truck was super friendly and helpful. We ordered a non-cheese cheeseburger (dont judge, my mom is weird) and a smashed burger....each burger order comes with a side of fries and its just the right amount. For the picky-ist burger eater, my mom ate her well done burger down to about 2 remaining bites. So proud of her lol. But man oh man was that smashburger phenomenal. Juicy, saucey, cheesy and perfectly cooked patties. A+ too for the seasoned fries that were perfectly fried, golden on the outside and soft on the inside.

I got the steak Gordita($7.50) & the French fries with steak & pastor($16.50). I'm so lucky the lady working the front told me I could do both meats on the fries because I tend to always get pastor but my husband loves steak. I'm always iffy when it comes to steak at restaurants because it can be chewy, but their steak is so soft and tender! Definitely recommend their steak. The French fries with the pastor was my favorite, best nacho cheese fries I've had in a while. The Gordita was a nice crispy texture on the outside from being cooked before adding a nice layer of beans, meat and the additional toppings.

Located on Monument Blvd, close to a gas station, it was poppin. There was a small wait, with some music coming from the taco truck, so the wait didn't feel long at all Bad news was they ran out of the Ramen Birria (which I was excited for), so I went for other options. Regardless of a New Mexican spot I try, tacos are a must. I got shrimp and asada tacos. I also went a bit different and tried out their seafood cocktail. Tacos: double tortilla, warm and spicy Same applied to the cocktail: it was very spicy. I couldn't finish it there, but took it home to consume later. Eating and chatting with my friends in the car, we all enjoyed the spot and are willing to give it another visit if possible. I might have to come earlier to get that Ramen birria

I've been looking for a new local taco truck to hit since the Los Rancheros truck cut their hours (they ain't even open on taco Tuesday anymore!! Wtf?). I've been passing by it for at least a month now. Finally stopped by on none other than taco Tuesday to get my taco fix! The gentleman who was working the truck was real cool (can't remember his name). He told me that they just opened up their taqueria around the corner, but the truck will be parked there from 5p-12a everyday. SCORE! Late night street taco fix for the win!!! They had a taco Tuesday special going on: 5 tacos for $10. It's cash only but still a great deal! They also make quesadillas and a few other items too. The tacos are friggin' HUGE! At first I was thinking, 5 street tacos?! Naaaw, I'mma need me about 10 of 'em. But once I felt that heavy plate in my hands, I knew I wasn't gonna be able to finish it. Fully LOADED! He packed these damn tacos up with meat for dear life. Made it all purdy by adding those lovable grilled onions, green peppers, and limes. I ordered two chicken, two steak, and one pastor. The steak were clearly the best. It was marinated extremely well and retained the most flavor out of them all. The al pastor was also pretty good. The chicken was on the drier side and didn't have much flavor. I'd skip the chicken next time. Also, they could have used a lot more salsa. I'm not used to street tacos being packed with this much meat, but maybe that's why they seemed to lack a bit of flavor. It just needed a bit more flavor and a little more of a kick. Some spicy salsa would probably do the trick. Other than that, the tacos were pretty good and cheap at $2 a piece on Tuesday. Not sure how much they're regularly priced, but their taco Tuesday is an excellent deal. I'm excited to try their actual taqueria soon too. I can foresee many more visits to this truck in the future. Next time, I'll be trying out their quesadillas.

If you enjoy more flavor and some heat, the habanero sauce is amazing and definitely worth trying. They also serve drinks, but the staff never seems to ask if you'd like another round, which may be a positive if you're only planning to have one. On the other hand, if you don't enjoy sitting with empty cups for long periods, it can come across as inattentive service. The small plates are very good. One thing to note is that they don't seem to rush guests out. Even after clearing the table, they'll often let people linger, which is great if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience and have plenty of time. If you prefer more attentive service throughout your meal, that may be something to consider. Overall, the food is enjoyable, especially the small plates and habanero sauce, but go in expecting a slower, more hands-off service style.
