A lovely little hideaway in Evesham, me and my wife visited on a Saturday and it's one of those places that is tucked away - a nice surprise when you find it. We both had the plough mans and a couple of soft drinks, service in there restaurant is attentive. The only problem we had was with the apple being substituted for pineapple, something that was not explained before ordering and only brought up by us when my wife ( who is pregnant - and just wanted cheese and apple for lunch!) told me she really wanted apple with her plough mans. An offer was made that one of the waitresses went out and bought some! Not wanting to put anyone to such trouble we obviously declined this offer. I suggested that they gave us our soft drinks on the house, a compromise was made with one soft drink on the house! We eyed up the lovely desserts fridge, the extensive drinks menu and the coffees on offer, but my wife just wanted to get the bill and enjoy the rest of the sunny day. read more
