It was about 7 on a Saturday night and we found ourselves in Evesham, a nice enough place. On the riverside across the bridge from the town centre, there's a cluster of Asian restaurants. The Blue Lagoon was busiest and the menu looked more interesting than the rest, especially for my pescatarian husband. We were quickly seated and spent some time looking through the menu. Not sure if I just chose the wrong things, but the chicken filling in my stuffed pepper was particularly tasteless, as was my main course - the lamb was tender at least. I used some of the sauce from my husband's salmon Hawaii to cheer it up a bit. Although the bill only came to £35, it wasn't itemised, so we couldn't check it without making a fuss. We had read on another site that someone was overcharged by a fiver. Would I return? Probably not, but they were very busy, so must be doing something right! read more
