Now I consider myself a master connoisseur of butter tarts! Can't pass up on any offer just to discover a better recipe and so far Mohawk Casino is tops on my list. Cobs Bread is located at plaza development on the northeast corner of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Ave E. While venturing into this outlet today, I was drawn to the display featuring butter tarts. Besides weight, what do I have to lose? A box of 6 homemade tarts for $9.50 (no taxes) and the sale was a done deal. I decided to leave the purchase of the many delicious bread products for another trip. Service was friendly and prompt. But what about the tart? Well, I was hoping for about double the amount of pastry to go with the great tart filling but that's my personal preference. I was left wanting. Still, I give this tart a 4 out of 5.

Some places give you the thumbs up vibe as soon as you walk in!This place is definitely such!I walked in on a dull gloomy early afternoon wanting to buy a bread for all the different spreads and cheeses I have collected over this past week from all the exotic grocery stores I have been visiting! As I walk in I'm the third in line-after waiting I get welcomed by this lady behind the counter with a huge smile. She asks me what I want and I tell her it's my first time here. She with her wonderful customer skills briefs me with the bakery goodies they keep at the store!Meanwhile she also offered me pick the free bread sample of I liked!! I then pick my sourdough bread which I later tasted was absolutely fantastic!Perfect crust and the center of the bread was baked to perfection. They also slice the bread in 2 sizes right in front of you! Ok now about the store: It's not a very huge bread store but pretty much keeps all the famous breads along with lots of bread with different toppings like olives, jalapeños-they call it the Turkish bread, I might just try it the next time. The store itself is very clean and all the bakery items and displayed very conveniently for the customers. They have a wonderful selection of Danish pastries, many different kinds of scones, assorted focaccia and croissants that all looked very fresh and appetizing!I have tried to capture all in the pics I have posted! I will for sure stop by again to get more BREAD!!

Yep over priced bread for Mississauga Hipsters. With so many local Italian and Portuguese bakeries in the city selling bread at half the price. They do sell a lot of different kinds of bread. But I went in there for corn bread and they don't bake that LOL . So I bought some over priced cross bread for $6.95 will post picture later.

They have very convenient working hours and I pass by to pick up a loaf of whole wheat bread every 2/3 days.

In the box was: White Chocolate Peach Mousse Fruit Tart Coconut Exotic Fruit Pistachio Mousse Raspberry Mousse Log Cake Aesthetically, all the pastries looked amazing! I felt bad cutting them to take a bite! My favourite is the Coconut Exotic Fruit. All the layers tied nicely together and tasted really good! The fruit tart was also good. Im not the biggest fan of peach but it was not bad as well. The Raspberry Mousse Cake was well balanced and not too sweet or tart. Sadly to say the Pistachio Mousse that was shaped as a cute Christmas tree was my least favourite. As this was a gift, I did not visit the location in person or know the price, but I do want to eat other selection of pastries and cakes if I get the chance!

The place was full of delicious-looking desserts, but I stuck by my cookie craving and wound up grabbing a Florentine. It's fantastic. It had a deep, super rich caramel flavor I found irresistible, while the chocolate coating on half of the cookie was equally satisfying. I also bought some Mini Xmas Cookies to try later and they were equally top-notch. French Corner is the real deal. I'll definitely be returning.

The texture of the croffles had a crispiness on the outside which made this dessert delightful to take a bite into. We chose the Honeycomb, Tiramisu and White Chocolate Matcha. We thoroughly enjoyed each flavour but a personal favourite of mine would be the tiramisu. My friend's personal favourite was the honeycomb. We're both not into white chocolate but to our surprise, we enjoyed the White Chocolate Matcha flavour as well. The matcha's earthiness really complemented the touch of sweetness of the white chocolate. The cream on top of the croffle was also rich and smooth. The ice cream was a good addition. As mentioned in my previous review, the server was friendly and had a warm smile. The place encouraged people to connect with each other and I thought it was a cozy place to do just that. Overall, I would come back again to try out their other desserts.

Great atmosphere and friendly service! I will be coming back again for another sweet treat soon.

The cake was spongy, and the cream cheese frosting was spread evenly. However, I would have preferred if the frosting was less sweet although this wasn't a deal breaker for me and I would buy this cake again. The coffee is self-served in a corner of the store by the front door, but you pay at the register. There are also two chairs by the front window but the overall space in the bakery is quite small so I wouldn't imagine a lot of customers staying to enjoy their drinks and baked goods there. We also got a latte and they offered to add cinnamon on top which was a nice touch. We also got the ham and cheese croissant which was good, but I wouldn't say that it's the best croissant ever. I would want to try other bakery items and will definitely be returning soon!

The chocolate croissant was perfect, just like ones we've had in Paris and Napa. The muffins were very good, too. Took advantage of muffin & coffee special.
