Showed up to bloodsoaked sheets. Absolutely disgusting. They gave me replacements rather than make the bed themselves, with no apology.

All soaps, shampoos etc are in dispensers so you don't have to deal with the hotel bar soap. They have staff that are happy to help and a corner shop. The corner shop charges a bit more than what you normally pay for the item, but that's the convenience of it if you don't like driving. You can even walk to Perkins, which is right there in the parking lot. It's a bit odd that you can only enter their parking lot from one of the two neighboring streets. The hotel serves wine, beer, and light refreshments every evening. They clean rooms every 4th day. The exercise equipment was a nice assortment of machines, medicine balls, and weights. Unfortunately they had a filtered water station but it had not had its filter changed, as it was showing a red light. The swimming pool was empty but appeared to be well kept, as well as the hot tub. The breakfast consists of the same foods that other similar hotels offer. Any variety of hot eggs, bacon, muffins, potatoes, and a waffle maker. This is one of the best mid-budget hotels in the Midwest that I have tried.

I am writing to formally report a concerning incident involving discrimination against my service…read moreanimal that occurred during my stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Scottsbluff, located at 902 Winter Creek Drive, Scottsbluff, NE 69361. On 05/05/25, while I was seated in the dining area where I had been for several hours, a staff member approached me during breakfast service and asked me to leave the area with my task-trained service dog. When I inquired about where I should eat instead, I was directed to either sit in the lobby seating area or at the business center. This occurred despite my having previously explained--both at check-in and again during this incident--that my animal is a service dog, not a pet. The staff member claimed that my removal from the dining area was "for the other guests" and referenced a document I had signed at check-in. However, the document in question pertains to pets, not service animals, which are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Throughout my time in the dining area, my service dog was properly positioned under the table and out of the way, as required by proper service animal handling protocols. This incident was not only extremely embarrassing, as I was forced to gather my belongings and relocate in front of other guests, but it also represents a violation of my rights under the ADA. According to the ADA, businesses that serve the public generally must allow service animals to accompany people with disabilities in all areas of the facility where the public is normally allowed to go. I filed a complaint with corporate. When corporate called the hotel, the staff reported that I carried my dog through the food line. My dog is a 50-pound Staffordshire mix. Sincerely,
