I tried the banana chocolate bread and it was pretty good. They offer juice and coffee as well as yogurts and fruits. One night, I went to grab a quick bite from their "pantry", which would have cost me $8. An employee pointed out that dinner was also available for free. The hotel had a nice spread of sloppy joes, various chips and desserts, soda, beer and wine. My room was clean. The staff decided not to clean the room but was running late and so they didn't even get to cleaning rooms on my floor until about 6pm. They're a bit insistent on not performing extra cleanings if they don't have to. When I checked out, I saw a mouse run into the supply closet. Considering this is an area with lots of fields of grass, I can see why this might be a thing but I did notify the front desk so they could address it promptly.

This is a nice hotel in an unlikely location. It's also a convention-center-style hotel with all the amenities: meeting room, a lounge, business center and convenience store. The rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, safe, and the beds are comfortable. The wi-fi was just okay -- not for intense use -- but good enough to check messages and mail. The temperature in the room is controlled by the unit below the windows. Despite being on the main street, it's quiet at this location. The breakfast is good -- more than a continental breakfast with all the usual choices. The person at the front desk when I checked in was prickly but polite. Of course, at a shift change, I'm sure she was ready to leave and not deal with another check-in. Cobblestone is a nice hotel in an unlikely location.

When I spoke to the manager there were no apologies or solutions besides "we can't refund you until checkout." I suggested a cash refund so I could use my money over the weekend and she stated she would call me back in the morning and never did. Luckily I had savings to pull from, but not everyone can afford to be shorted $240 while on vacation. I'm extremely disappointed in this stay based on that experience. I will note that the staff I spoke to that were not the manager all seemed polite and helpful.
