We moved here a little over 3 years ago and we have tried several dry cleaners in the area and Cobblestone has become our go to cleaners. I drop off my husband's dress shirts and suits once a week (they have a drive thru that makes it super convenient) and the clothes are always ready when I come to pick them up. We have not had a broken button yet and we have been going here over a year now. I have also used their altering service. I needed a long dress hemmed for a wedding and Luma got it finished in 4 days and her handiwork was flawless. She had to cut off 2" from the chiffon outer layer and the lining, she hand hemmed them and the dress was pressed and beautiful. Cobblestone also did a great job washing our custom made king size comforter. read more

Lets talk military uniforms. Turned two tops in for a press and I get double creases back in multiple spots on both tops not to mention the creases were dull and not sharp at all. I am paying for things to be done right. I was told they just follow what was there wrong or not and it would be 2 days before they could fix it. Now I have to go home and fix it myself because I cant trust that it would be done right. Unacceptable! I would rather do it myself than turn anything in to Cobblestone. read more

On a visit home from NYC my little sister accidentally washed two of my favorite vintage shirts with jeans. My once white and ivory button-downs were now a patchy faded blue. I left them with the woman at the counter with no promise that they would be fixed. However, unlike the competing cleaners in the plaza across the street she assured me with confidence that they would try their best. For me that was hope and assurance enough to let them try for $6/per shirt. I dropped them off first thing Monday morning and they were done Wednesday. On the drive over I was still hopeful but still prepared myself for the possibility of a disappointing reveal. I'm what I like to call an "essentialist"; I own what I need with little to now fluff. So, the clothes I own are deeply cherished and usually thrifted/vintage/investment pieces because I buy things own for years to come. So, I entered the store with a bit of anxiety, thankfully hidden by my mask. I'm not sure if she sensed this but as soon as I handed her my ticket she delivered the good news in saying, "they look amazing by the way!" As the garment carousel came around with my shirts she shared the behind the scenes details on the process my shirts went through saying, "the process wasn't easy and they had to use a lot of supplies... way more than we are charging you for... but we were able to fix them." She was right there was a trace of the patchy blue in sight and they look better than they did when I took them home from the random NYC thrift store I purchased them from. I couldn't be happier with the service provided to me. I asked her to please thank everyone who helped and left a tip to help cover some of the additional costs. I drove home with a smile and the windows down, and immediately shared my positive experience to my parents over our morning tea. They were using a different cleaners but assured me they too would go to Cobblestone Cleaners from now on for their cleaner needs. read more

Dropped off a blazer for one day dry cleaning service. I wore the blazer on Sunday and dropped it off on Tuesday for cleaning. When I picked up the jacket it was totally different! Aside from not looking like the same material the jacket was not even pressed properly. The jacket no longer looked like something I would wear to a business meeting, instead it looked like something I would put on to run errands in on the weekends. It appeared as if their dry cleaning process changed the entire composition of the jacket. When I went back to speak with the female owner she indicated that the jacket did not look different in anyway. Even after showing her a picture of what the jacket looked like on Sunday she indicated that they had cameras too and that she can prove what the jacket originally look like when I brought it in. I requested to be compensated for the cost of my jacket. That request was denied and not even considered. In fact she insisted that I trust her over myself, and even the image of the jacket in my phone before I dropped it off. She offered to give me $4 for the cleaning, however that was not going to cover the cost of my jacket. My family has patronized this cleaners for 5 years, and it is extremely disappointing to see how they treated a loyal customer. They have lost 3 dedicated customers. WORST DRY CLEANERS EVER!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I gave them a bright white comforter for cleaning, the first time I went to get it back it was never cleaned; the second time I went, it was stained with something that looked like gum or candy that it did not have before, and it was all over it. The owner tried to lie to me tell me that it was there before! After a week later and four more washes from them, the candy or gum stain is still there. They ruined my Goose feather comforter, What A TERRIBLE!! I tried to pick it up six times until I gave up my ruined comforter! read more

I had a client who got oil paint on his expensive jacket and tried to make me pay for a new suit. They got the stain out and only charged me $4.50 even though they had to clean it twice. This is the absolute best dry cleaner I've been to in Jacksonville. Any time I've taken something there with a stain on it they give it back to me looking good as new. They're always so nice to me and the prices are the best for the great quality work they do. I take my fiances dress shirts and pants there all the time and he even says they're the best! I gave this business a bad review yesterday. I have since removed the review since the daughter of the owner took the time this morning to find out why I was displeased with their service. My problem had to do with a pricing dispute but I have a clearer understanding now why I was charged a higher amount on a tie. I also thought the owner engaged in the practice of "rounding up" his ticket prices to avoid giving coin change. I was incorrect about this. It was simply his handwriting on the ticket that caused my misunderstanding. There had also been some comments that the owners daughter had made to me regarding their same day service that made me want to discontinue doing business with them. Truthfully, I think it was more of a personality conflict that I don't think I can repair at this point. However, these are good people and they run a good business that they are clearly passionate about. I would highly recommend them going foward. Their product is excellent but I think their pricing is just a little high as compared to other dry cleaners in the area. But for the convenience of the location and the high quality of the product it is probably worth what they charge. read more
