Open M-F 10-6 and Sat 10-3 My husband and I each had a pair of trousers to adjust, mine needed tapering and my husband needed a hem taken up. Holly Alterations had it done quickly and did a great job! Not only that, they were very honest in directing my husband not to bother with the tapering he requested, as it would have been only 1/4 of an inch, and not that much difference (they could have let us go through with it getting our money for the job, but they were honest in their assessment of the request!). Also, when we picked up our items I asked their recommendation of where to find a special button for a cardigan I had at home. They pointed me in the direction of JoAnn's but asked me to wait a moment while one of them headed to the back. She came back with a jar of buttons similar to the one I was looking for, and found one. She gave it to me at no charge. I thought this was a very friendly gesture, as they hadn't even worked on the sweater! A great tailor/altering experience!

I recently lost a lot of weight, so I have been replacing all my clothes. I buy Tall sizes to fit a longer torso, but then all pants need to be shortened due to my shorter legs. I feel fortunate to find someone who does such beautiful work on all my brand new clothing. The owner who has done my fittings has a gentle smile. Although she is soft spoken and a woman of few words, she isn't ever rude. If she was an extrovert, she might choose another line of work -- as a top notch seamstress, she is kept very busy in a quiet setting working her magic independently. My only hesitation in offering this recommendation is that this business 'Perfect Fit' will continue growing and become in such great demand that I will have to get a very long line for the best service anywhere. Still and always, this work will be worth the wait! Well done, ladies!!! ~ Leslie Simmons, Columbia, Mo

After moving back to Missouri…read morefrom New York, I went on a hunt for a good seamstress, found Perfect Fit, and she's been amazing from day one. She has a quiet demeanor, but she is kind, professional, and her work speaks volumes. I'm quite picky (and admittedly awkward about my requests), yet she consistently understands what I want and delivers flawlessly. Having lived in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New York, and New Orleans, I can say she's one of the best seamstresses I've known--second only to my grandmother, who also owned a seamstress shop. Yes, her prices might be on the higher side, but the results are always perfect. Over the years, I've given her some quirky requests, and she nails them every time. Even when I'm in a rush, she's accommodating and always kind. I've referred friends and my own mother to her, and they share my admiration. Her craftsmanship is impeccable, and she is truly professional.
