The food is pricey but it was good. The pretzel was salty salty.. I still ate it (don't judge me) get cheese or it's dry. Service- EVERYONE was nice. The chaperones were all phenomenal. The ambiance well it's the Cobb Energy..... the performances was nothing short of amazing! Will Downing & Jeffery Osborne did that.... It was freezing- which a few were saying made them uncomfortable (I get it). Love this place!

I love this place for concerts, shows and the like. Not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are good. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of them, never any issues as Cobb County PD is always present and accounted for. Parking is $17 on-site, there are plenty of hotels nearby you can park at, I'm sure it is cheaper, etc

Me seated and ready for the show to start.

This was my second time at this venue and it still does not disappoint! There is plenty of parking($17). The inside is nice, not too big, nor too small. I love it! There looks to be no bad seat in the house. I've done tier 2 and this recent event 2nd row. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. I was here December 1, to see my top favorite rapper Jadakiss perform with an orchestra and it was great, great!! They offer concession style food hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, etc. but they do have a full bar. If you have ever been curious about going to show here, definitely go check it out. And they have clean restrooms....Win!!!

I had a Rex Orange County concert here and it was so amazing! The staff was the NICEST staff i've ever encountered in a concert setting; so helpful, kind and professional. The drinks were good and not crazily overpriced. Area was clean, the center was BEAUTIFUL and parking was a breeze! Absolutely LOVED this arts center!!!

Super venue - great seats everywhere, easy parking, everybody really nice and friendly. The ballet performance was outstanding, the music, the dance, the stage production.

I absolutely love this venue! There's literally not a bad seat in the house. It's nicely decorated, restrooms are always well maintained, they have several bars to accommodate the guests adequately as well. We went to see the Jazz Explosion this past Sunday. When I say it was an amazing concert, it was!!!! The artists were Mindi Abair (which we missed because we were coming back from Orlando ), Norman Brown - who did an incredible performance, and R&R - Richard Elliot and Rick Braun - absolutely killed it!!! It was a phenomenal show! Can't wait for Sea Breeze later this month!....more live jazz posts to follow!

We went for Madama Butterfly's last performance this season. A few things on my mind... The organization sent good and informative emails for prep. The reality at the door was a bit more chaotic... from access to the parking lot (that was the longest I've ever waited to turn to the lot in my life), staff not equipped to receive cashless payments (it's the 21St century... might be worth updating the systems), and the entrance bottleneck... I mean... this is not the first show they've had, right? Going up to our seats was fine, the seats themselves were some of the most uncomfortable I've been in in a while - not ideal for 3h sitting down. The worst of it was... leaving... we were in a line to exit the parking deck for a good hour. About time Atlanta expands the MARTA away from the city center... this place and the Battery could certainly benefit from that. Not to mention the environment...

The food was okay. Eat before you go if possible. We sat in RMEZZ 2&4 , which is an aisle, and seats were pretty decent. View was good. All seats are inclined so you are not looking at the back of anyone's head. The only headache about an aisle is that you have to move every time someone wants to get up and go to the bathroom or concessions.

Some friends wanted to see Don Quixote by Atlanta Ballet. Tickets were relatively affordable; we chose seats that came out to just under $50. I didn't have a chance to check on parking details (one friend bought all of our tickets and we paid her back), so I sweated a bit when I pulled up to the parking garage and saw a guy accepting cash for parking ($15). Luckily I found a $20 in my wallet...not sure if the attendant had a card reader. There was a long line of cars trying to get in, so definitely arrive at least 20 minutes before show time since you also have to go through security (metal detector), I saw others say this in reviews too, but the exterior definitely looks more fancy than the interior. I thought the rows were pretty close together...just me? The height of the tiers could be improved; I had to lean over in my seat a bit to see between the two heads in front of me. I was impressed by the stage design and the set. The performance was great! The concessions area was packed before the show and during intermission. They definitely could use more space to accommodate another stand for people to get food (there were two bars set up). People came back into the room just in time for the show starting back up.

    The Nutcracker, December 2024

Saw the nutcracker December 2024. The show was great but the venue was so clean. The parking close by directly across the street, it was more than convenient. It was free! The Staff was super friendly and guided us to our seats with a smile on their face. They were well informed as to the length of the show acts and the intermissions.

I got the chance to visit the Coca-Cola Roxy to see Miguel in concert for his Caos Tour earlier…read morethis month, and I was not disappointed. It is located in The Battery and is surrounded by various other bars and eateries. So, it's a great spot to make a whole night of. The overall venue was quite spacious, despite the massive crowd that attended the concert that evening. The security check process was efficient and, honestly, pretty quick considering the LONG line. This event was not seated, so it was standing room in the main open (ground) floor area. Seats were available for purchase at the upper level (or for VIP, but do not quote me on this). Even though it was standing room, I still had a solid view of the artist(s) once they came on stage to perform. The acoustics were GREAT! All performers were clear of sound, and there were very minimal audio issues. My friend and I were near one of the bars near the venue entry and bathroom area, so we had easy access to all points. Price points for food, snacks, and drinks were a bit high, but that is to be expected in these types of venues. I typically try to eat prior to avoid spending extra money on snacks that are upcharged. The specialty cocktails were also on the pricer side, but the upside is that they came in a cute container that you could keep and take home as a souvenir (or at least that is what I did). As far as parking goes, it looked like it was a challenge. However, I cannot speak fully to it as my friend, and I got dropped off and picked up by another friend. Traffic in and out of the area was a challenge, but again, it's to be expected when there are games or other concerts / major events occurring. All in all, for my first concert experience at this venue, I truly enjoyed myself. I would definitely go back, and I'd like to see how the experience is when it is a seated event.

Every year for 8 years I've said whenever Miguel goes on tour, I'm going to see him. The crowd for this was 3 times the size of the venue so I'm not so sure where they all went. I don't like the idea of standing room only. The concert got interrupted twice for ppl passing out. My boyfriend paid too much money for last minute tickets to be seated up top to deal with interruptions. Miguel is so good he recovered fine, but it still was annoying. It's also a scam because even though you pay for seated tickets, they claim you still have to wait in the "general standing population line" which is insane. I kid you not, the line! Length of a football field or as far as I could see. So guess what, he paid another $80! for fast pass entry on top of already paying $300+ each for tickets. Come on now! Plus! $35 to park? This is why I stop going to Cobb. Insane price gouging. And I love going to braves games in the summer. And I really like The Battery, but this was a lot. We sat in row "A" directly in the center of the venue facing the stage which was nice. There was no one in front of us. They have no projectors, so if you can't see, you'll need to be on the right or left closest to the stage up top, or standing room only on the floor. Overall, any other act I would probably be mad, but the show was so good Miguel's performance made the great. Only other gripe is the show was short to me. Lastly, I have no clue what happened with gps or if CCR was ever associated with downtown Atlanta, but I've never noticed the Coca Cola Roxy at Truist Park. I've never been to this venue until now, so it didn't occur that it was in the Battery on Cobb pkwy. The map took us to 65 Trinity Ave SW. I was so annoyed. Luckily it was early enough before the show to account for all this error like parking, driving another 30mins from downtown, and figuring out the bogus line. I was not going to be late. If someone you want to see is performing here, get the tickets early and do pay over $150. That's about the value this was worth for me.

Unfortunately, the discomfort continued after we were seated, as our table for two was positioned near the entrance, and we were repeatedly subjected to cold drafts throughout our meal. To add insult to injury, I ask the server, a black lady who looked like she was a recovering crack addict, what sides would be a good choice with the lump crab cake? I was simply directed back to the menu. I ordered one lump crab cake with two sides. However, when the plate was delivered, she told me that an extra crab cake had been added. This significantly increased the cost of the dish to nearly $80. I did not request an additional crab cake and was surprised by the charge. 2oz. of red wine served in a Bordeaux glass at a cost of $25.00, LOL. This is to be expected, but not serving an extra crab cake to inflate the bill. Overall, our bill exceeded $200, which was especially disappointing given the service issues and overall experience. I had much higher expectations for a New Year's Eve dinner; however, that extra charge was taken care of in the tip. Thanks Ms. Disingenuous! Maybe your service will be better going forward. Sincerely, Will never eat there again!!!

This month, it was The Wizard of Oz. I feel like I should join some membership program or something. Like Oklahoma!, The Wizard of Oz is part of Gas South's Broadway Series. It showed February 3-6, 2011. Out of the performances I've seen, The Wizard of Oz has been the most entertaining thus far. It's mainly because of the bright, colorful, and lavish costumes and sets. It also doesn't hurt that The Wizard of Oz has more well known, catchy, and classic songs ("Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "We're Off to See the Wizard," and "Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead"), uses a projector and several special effects, and a real dog for Toto. There are also some scenes in this stage production that were not in the 1939 film. The cast was excellent: Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Lion, Wicked Witch of the West, etc. Great voices, great acting, great singing. And there were Munchkins of all shapes and sizes. You could tell the audience was really getting into it -- singing along with some songs and clapping with enthusiasm before a scene was even over. Too bad the free parking lot across from Cobb Energy Centre (which Addy C. told me about for Moulin Rouge) is now under construction. We were forced to park on-site in the deck for $6. The $6 parking fee was not as bad as getting out of the deck after the show. The traffic was so bad, it was like leaving a football game. Anyway, that does not deter from the good performance on stage. #Yelp365 - 41/365
