Coating Anatomy did a great job painting my rental property in West Adams. Eddie and team showed up on time, kept me informed about progress, and finished as planned. Price was right (got three quotes for the job) and they actually ended up doing a bit more than I expected based on our first conversations. Highly recommended and would definitely use them again for future projects. read more

We tasked Eduardo and his team with a variety of tasks including stucco repair, staining, exterior paint, interior wall and trim paint, exterior doors, and so many interior doors! It was an incredible amount of finishing work that needed a huge amount of precision. We were so impressed with the speed at which the crew completed all of the projects that we threw at them, and the work was extremely high quality. Eduardo and his team were also extremely respectful of our space and belongings as they had to work around a small child and our indoor only cats. I look forward to hiring Coating Anatomy again for our next project! read more

Eduardo was FANTASTIC - he completed the mess that was my moldy bathroom ceiling and it looks brand new. I'd had water damage some years back and the ceiling continued to deteriorate. It took him less than 4 hours (including having to wait on me). He even touched up other places that he noticed on other walls, and brought me some door handles for my kitchen cabinets. I am so, so happy. Oh - and since he came on Valentine's Day, I made sure to give him a card LOL! Also - he was early for the consultation and right on time for the work. Super patient and just great. read more

We've worked with Coating Anatomy several times, and every experience has been outstanding. Eduardo is truly one of a kind. He has done a lot of work for us in the past, and today he is painting the inside of our house Eduardo is efficient, precise, and a true perfectionist -- he doesn't cut corners and pays attention to every detail. His work is flawless. On top of that, he is kind, friendly, and genuinely cares about you as a customer, which is rare these days. Eduardo communicates clearly, shows up on time, and treats your home like it's his own. We needed a painter last minute for a nursery and bedroom and Eduardo was the only one who actually picked up the phone--everyone else never even called back. He came out, did a great job on both rooms, and finished everything in a single day. Highly recommend him. read more

Eduardo was an answered prayer. My tenants hired incompetent workers which destroyed the side of my building and the beautiful arch of my doorway. I called many, many painters and Eduardo stood out because not only was he professional, he was reliable to his word. He went to the office when he said he would, and provided an estimate when he said he would. And, he commended work when he said he would. He repaired the arch of my doorway (excellent framer) as well as the stucco. And, he painted my entire office to match. WOW, not only is he very nice, his work is exceptional. Very neat prep, and accurate painting. The frame looks amazing. They worked efficiently and finished right on time. It is rare to find a true gem on Yelp. I am so grateful to Eduardo and his team! read more

Eduardo and his team at Coating Anatomy are truly the best. I've had a lot of home projects done recently, so I've experienced the full spectrum of contractors--and all I can say is I wish everyone worked like he does. He made the whole process so smooth and completely stress-free. I reached out about repainting both of my balconies and several exterior railings. He was incredibly kind over the phone and showed up first thing the very next morning to take a look and provide a quote. What really stood out was how clearly he explained everything--materials, process, timing--he genuinely knows his craft inside and out, and his expertise immediately put me at ease. His quote was incredibly reasonable for the amount of work, and he delivered exactly as promised. He showed up on time, finished on schedule, and even went above and beyond by reinstalling a fresh lock on one of my gates--something he absolutely didn't have to do. The railings look PERFECT now. Truly better than they ever have! He also handled a few corroded areas effortlessly and even took the time to answer some unrelated questions I had about other exterior issues. His pride in his work really shows. I already have a couple more projects coming up, and I won't hesitate for a second to call Eduardo again. I've been recommending him to all my neighbors. If you need any painting done inside or outside your home, you will be in excellent hands with Eduardo & Coating Anatomy! read more

First of all, let me start off with it's been a pleasure working with Eduardo. I briefly explained to him that my mother was ill and one of her wishes was to do her Exterior Trim Paint Only. She wanted to see how her home would look with the color she had picked out. Being that she's 84 and everyday is accounted for, Eduardo made this possible in a very short period of time. I was worried about when it would get done, and Eduardo assured me that he would get it done ASAP. He sent his workers the next day. I was able to take my mother to see the final work. We saw a few areas that needed touch up that his employees missed, and when I reached out to Eduardo he said don't worry about it. I've got it! Though we had received another quote from a company, Eduardo's sincerity and response time, made me go with him. Our goal is to use him for the entire unit which includes stucco next year. My mom gifted him $2 bill for him to carry in his wallet for prosperity... With that being said, come on Yelpers hire. Eduardo read more

I ended up scheduling Eduardo for September 28th to which he agreed he would be able to do. The Thursday before, I was going to text him to confirm and he actually ended up texting me saying his truck broke down and cancelled the job. After further conversation he mentioned that his jobs are holding him back and so he would be available October 8th. Clearly, one or both of these reasons is a lie as he is changing his story. I have the text convo available via screenshot if needed. He offered to have someone he knows to do the job but I had no way of knowing if this person was reliable or good as he doesn't advertise. On top of that I am moving the following weekend and needed this job done on its original date so I was left hanging. read more

I highly recommend Eduardo. I needed a small room in my house painted in preparation for a renter who was moving in within a week's time. Eduardo quickly responded to my request with a very attractive estimate. After talking to him on the phone, I felt the choice was clear. My main concern was that the job would be done cleanly -- without paint splatters left on the floor or window trimming, etc. Eduardo assured me that the job would be clean and he absolutely lived up to his word. Eduardo arrived on time, checked the room and then knew exactly what paint to get to match it. He then went out and purchased the paint. Within two hours the job was done. Eduardo is fast and professional. The final job was pristine. Flawless. And I also really enjoyed the playlist he played while he worked. I will certainly be calling him again the next time I need a paint job on the house. Thank you Eduardo! read more

Eduardo was amazing! I contacted him same day for a last minute need and he delivered! Eddie and team were amazing. I contacted him to help repaint my rental. Great Job by Eduardo. He came in last minute when we had our painter drop out. He was able to work with our hectic schedule of work being done on the house while we were preparing to move in. We had lot's of changes and things we forgot about and he was ready to make those adjustments. He was able to patch and paint a lot of our new house and add in accent walls in the time frame requested. For the money and responsive service it was a job well done. Will look to use him for future projects. read more

Eduardo is professional, communicative, and does great work! The quote was fair, as well. I highly recommend!

Eduardo was an absolute professional, start to finish. After a round of rain created a leak in my living room, and I learned the damage was too minimal to go through homeowners insurance, I sought out someone to replace the broken tile on the roof as well as paint the ceiling. He was communicative about coming out after the rain and provided an honest opinion about the work. We established a time right away and day of Eduardo and Juan were on time and set up efficiently. They moved furniture with care and taped our room in plastic to ensure the paint didn't create a mess. They were professionals about taking care of a couple add-ons requests: changing a lightbulb in our 12-foot tall ceiling and removing a vinyl film on a tall window. In all, the price was in line with the insurance adjuster's estimate and I saw no reason to negotiate. Bought the guys lunch as they worked quickly and efficiently and finished ahead of schedule. In all, superb experience and highly recommend. Will be hiring Eduardo again in the future. Tip: he takes cash, Zelle, or Venmo. read more

Coating Anatomy - Preparing the space with care. - Painters Near Me

We enjoyed working with Eduardo. He was easy to work with and did a great job. Would recommend 5 stars!

A dear friend recommended this sensational company to me. I have found personal recommendations are the best, but it would have been irresponsible of me not to leave review. All of my kitchen cabinets had been done by a high profile cabinet company. The color was several shades and not what I wanted at all. I was told to let it dry. Well there was paint on my appliances as well as my floor. It was such a nightmare I could not live with it any more. Coating Anatomy save the day and my inner peace. The owner Eduardo was so articulate and immediately starting working on getting the right color from the first moment. He brought finished samples and surfaces to be sure I would be 100% satisfied. I am beyond satisfied. It looks like a whole new room, classy and peaceful at the same time. The workmanship was immaculate. Every surface has perfect finish. The solid color is my dream realized. This company is so professional and extra nice. They were respectful not only of my home, but my dog and my fish. Every precaution was taken to protect us from chemicals and dust. Also they work so quietly. It seemed almost spiritual. I cannot give a recommendation that is high enough to reach the caliber of their expertise and my satisfaction. Sincerely, Tony Clark Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres PS. Please see the images below. Mine were too large to upload. David Gardner posted my review with photos. read more

An update to my prior review: Eddie has returned to do additional work for me, including interior painting, and replacement of gutters plus removal of a rear deck for a dear friend who desperately needed some work over a holiday weekend. he has also provided upscale cabinet painting for another friend's home in Beechwood Canyon. He is the consummate professional and I will continue to use him, and refer him to my friends knowing they will get the same professional service he provided for me. read more

Eddie reached out to me in response to an RFP to paint the interior of my condo to prepare it for sale. He didn't have many reviews yet, but I was very impressed by his responsiveness and professionalism.
