I have been a hobbyist of various martial arts for years. Since day 1, the environment at Rounders was a perfect fit. The people are friendly and helpful. The hours and the selection of martial arts classes are excellent. Every last coach knows their stuff, and they teach both kids and adults classes with professionalism and care. I am also always grateful that the black belts, pro fighters, and other experienced trainees are so helpful during class. Not only do you have knowledgable coaches, but your peers support you here too. I have seen multiple martial arts gyms over the years, especially in Orange County, and while all have nice things to say about them, Rounders just hits every single mark. It's a nice and spacious facility with a great setup, but the people are what make it stand out. My only complaint is that I wish I had started here sooner.

I signed up for a free intro class, and after just that first session, I was hooked. My official first class went really well, though it was a bit intimidating since I have no experience with weightlifting. I'm still getting the hang of things. The coaches are amazing--super patient and always there to guide you every step of the way. What I love most about this journey is just showing up and putting in the work. I've learned that I'm stronger than I ever thought. If you're considering joining, go for it--it's a fantastic environment with an amazing community. It took me a little while to get the hang of things, and I'm not yet where I want to be, but I can feel myself improving every single day. I feel stronger, and I love how each workout challenges both your body and your mind. A huge shoutout to Marco for consistently delivering great programming every week, my body thanks you (even when it's sore, haha). Coach Christa, Sergio, and Keikani are always attentive and make sure you're getting the most out of your workouts. Most importantly, I've found such a supportive community here. I've taken several classes at this studio and have generally liked them. However, Alejandra's…read moreteaching style just isn't the best fit for me. The class was listed as heated, but the room wasn't heated. There was also a fairly long introduction before class started, and I would have preferred using that time to begin warming up while she gave her announcements. My biggest concern was the amount of hands-on assisting. I don't recall being asked if the class was comfortable with physical adjustments, and at times the corrections felt a bit forceful. I also felt that some alignment cues were presented as one-size-fits-all, when different body types may need different positioning. There was also a comment that if our hips weren't level, it meant one side was "weaker." I understand the point she was trying to make, but the wording felt discouraging and oversimplified, especially in a fitness environment that is usually focused on building confidence and body awareness. I can tell Alejandra is passionate about form and alignment and genuinely wants her clients to move safely. I wanted to share this feedback because I think a little more flexibility in cueing, less hands-on correction, and more time spent moving would create a more positive and inclusive experience. I also encourage her to be mindful of the language she uses when addressing the class, as fitness spaces should feel encouraging and empowering for all.

Only complain I got about this gym is that they have the recovery room which is great, I finished…read moremy work out then tried going to tje recovery room which all message chairs were occupied which is understandable, the time limit too use the chairs says 30 mins, so since they're all occupied i went too the sauna for half an hour, I go back too the recovery room and its all the same people using the damn chairs still! They should really enforce this because other people that pay extra on top of the membership too use the recovery room want use the damn chairs im sorry but its very irritating!

They just posted on their Instagram page that starting March 1st no bags will be allowed in the gym floor in order to maintain a "safe and comfortable environment" meanwhile the rest of the gym issues are being ignored. That shows management's priorities are all messed up. After this month is over I will be cancelling my membership after 8 years of being a member sucks that management does not take their job serious.
