Titus went through the doors with me and explained everything. I asked him if I needed a bar to go in the gap for safety. My electric bill is $85 for a 2500ft home now. My experience with Ecoview has been wonderful! Our installers were SPECTACULAR. So professional. Bagged every window to minimize construction dust in my home. Vacuumed. They installed thoroughly using the correct long screws and spray foam around every window, then trim and caulk. Didn't damage any of my stucco or drywall. My windows all work great and sit squarely. No complaints at ALL about the installation or quality. Ecoview was my lowest quote for my impact windows but had the best warranty which is why I went with them. At first, the price made me nervous but now I'm so glad I didn't waste extra money with another company. The only feedback I have is that the original estimator (owners son I believe) was young and made some unprofessional comments while he was at my house. He commented about my mattress being on the floor in my room (none of his business but I was clearly moving in- I had boxes everywhere!). I also had to call to check on the status of my windows and called again to schedule. No issues there but be sure to check on things yourself if you want them done quickly! On the day of installation two windows were broken and two screens were missing. They had no idea about the screens but they told us that they would replace the windows. This seems odd because they called me to let me know the items were in and were thoroughly inspected and we scheduled their install. Everything was great and we understand things happen but there was no communication in the interim and we only received messages that we owed them money and were to pay them the final payment despite multiple items missing or not installed at all. Finally, after multiple phone calls and text messages and emails over several weeks and no communication from the project manager and escalating the issue I was made aware that he was no longer with the company. Why they chose not to alert me and anyone else that had a current open project with them and tell me who it was reassigned to or that it was known and would be reassigned is baffling and annoying. Finally, I get a call and we schedule finalizing the project about a month out and on the day of the completion they show up without the screens that were missing and this glass but not the window frames. They disappear for about an hour and come back and put the screens in but then tell me that they cannot install the frames because the glass is not installed. The people that showed up were absolutely dumbfounded that the frames were not installed. They also were not aware that there were supposed to be screens for the sliding glass doors and could not find them in the warehouse after calling back to look for them. A few days later I get a phone call that the glass was actually shattered and could not be installed and they would need to reorder it. I'm concerned on how glass that is supposed to be hurricane CAT 5 rated shattered on a 5-mile trip to my home on two separate occasions. Last week after the 5th or 6th visit and a total of about 6 months we finally completed the job. Once again the installer was not made aware of the issues that had been documented to the front office that needed to be resolved and he showed up with two screens thinking they needed to be installed but didnt and no one ever said they did. The communication between the warehouse and the installers and the salesperson and the front office is non-existent. Every time someone made an appointment to come to my home they either had the wrong items or didn't have items and weren't made aware of what they were coming out to do. It baffles me because we used them at the recommendation of several neighbors and family members who experience the utmost best customer service experience. Simply because of that and the fact that we signed a contract in March and we're lucky enough to not have any hurricanes despite the project not being finished until primetime hurricane season is why I would caution someone before signing an agreement with this company and would get better defined timelines and expectations before doing so. I would also ask that they have fixed the clear manning and communication issues.
