We evacuated in the RV, which was fun, ahead of hurricane Irma in our newly purchased RV. On our return to Florida we experienced a tire blow out. The blow out tore out a storage bin and the floor of the RV above it. We were on a deadline to get to SLC so when the insurance adjuster said "it could take 3 months for repairs", I nearly had a heart attack, and my the stress level went through the roof. Gigi, Ivan, Jen, Katie and Gary are spectacular! EVERYONE at Planet RV has been wonderful. They have assisted me with EVERYthing; from navigating the insurance world of woes, to a place to live, to getting the repairs done in record time-- NOT the predicted 3 months--about 2 weeks, the first of a total three weeks was waiting for insurance people. We requested a bank transfer, which was approved, but for $5,000 less than the agreed price (which had already been lowered beforehand without explanation). Since 2020, we still haven't received our money, $25,000. Nothing for such a company, but a lot for a family. The memory of an incredible trip ruined for what? They didn't hear us, didn't listen, blacklisted us, and were dishonest. If you don't want to take any risks, run away!

The Tires Plus had a low 2.6 rating with 45/93 one star reviews which is horrific but seems to be common at vehicle repair shops with an array of customer experiences in the reviews. So called each of the three repair shops and spoke with a mechanic or manager from each place. The Tires Plus price quote was provided by Brian and at the lower end and he provided discounts with an appointment time slot today that we chose. Dropped my daughter's car off at the location. The service of an oil change, new battery and tire rotation would take only 1.5 hours. Brian notified me of a few other maintenance concerns including the engine filter and cabin filter that would be completed by me. Somehow every repair shop does this upsell and I hate it. My engine filter had plenty of life left on it which was also confirmed later at an auto parts store. Also, the tire air pressure light was on and drove back to the Tires Plus where they immediately checked all the tire pressure which was perfect although he could not figure out how to reset the digital Tire Pressure alert. My smart wife pulled up YouTube and we reset the Tire Pressure notice in about one minute. Not really sure why so many 1 star ratings here - clean job, repairs in timely manner and price quote honored/cost efficient. Maybe would have eeked out 4 stars if a discount coupon was given for the next oil change and the tire pressure light was taken care of at the first visit.

Warning: Do Not Trust This Repair Shop!…read more Yesterday, our 2009 Toyota Camry would not start and several warning lights were on. We brought the car in for inspection and repair. The shop told us that the alternator and fan belt needed to be replaced. They also said the battery was still at 65% and was fine (just needed charging or not replaced). We agreed to replace only the alternator and fan belt for now, and they charged us $1,400. Today we picked up the car -- and the warning lights were STILL on. We immediately drove it back and asked them to check it again. This time, they told us another part needed to be replaced and it would cost another $1,400. We decided not to move forward with more repairs at this time. Then they told us the battery was dead and had to jump-start the car for us to drive away -- even though yesterday they said the battery was fine. This whole experience feels dishonest and unprofessional. We paid $1,400 and the original problem was not even fixed. Now they are asking for another $1,400 and suddenly the battery is "dead." This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this repair shop.
