It's easy to fill up the bucket with ripe strawberries quick. Although it doesn't seem like there's a lot of strawberries at first glance, there's a lot as I walked through the rows of strawberry plants - that was part of the fun! One thing I wasn't prepared for was the dirt and how muddy the strawberry rows were. I'm not sure if it was always that wet. Perhaps it was because it rained earlier in the day? My shoes got extremely dirty and there wasn't a convenient way to wash it off there. I recommend wearing rain boots. In addition to strawberries, there was a sunflower maze and a separate section for a simple sunflower field. For those who don't want to worry about food, there's vendors and food trucks on site. They also sell jam and fresh strawberries at the stand, which doesn't require an admissions ticket. Service wasn't anything special. The staff there were efficient and friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and I recommend visitors trying out the U-Pick experience!

But back to the review, please take time to go on the first week of May! There was around 500 vendors, I might be wrong but it was about six blocks full of fun things to be found. They do need some more things for men but then again, women are more in to shopping as a collective. If you love jewelry, small business finds, and food, it's definitely something I will be coming back for. I can't wait to go next year and replenish my earring collection. Recently started to collect them! We also had the most amazing freakin cake!!!! OMGAH!!!! I promise, if you like a cake that isn't dry, even a coffee cake that isn't dry, this company is worth ordering from! I am going to be ordering some yummy gifts for people in the future. It's called Dolce Monachelli's they do have a website and it's the best Bundt cake you will ever have. They have a cute sampler you can always get as a gift bc I will be gifting with these cakes! I think this is the best cake I've ever had! Sorry I don't have picks of the cake lol it was just too good and I forgot.

We arrived when they opened at 10am, took a lunch break for about 2 hours, and were there until they closed at 5pm. Even with all of that time, we couldn't fully take everything in. It was rich in information! Each section had written stories, musical clips, video stories, and information about each displayed instrument. We spent 2 hours in the first room alone! There are also 4 sit and play areas, so you can play some of the cool instruments, which was a major draw for hubby. The volunteers that helped in the beginning and throughout were all wonderful and very knowledgeable! We had a lot of fun learning all of the different things and playing what they had available. If we are back in town we are absolutely coming again to finish the exhibits. So much to see and a great way to spend a day!

The entrance to the museum is on the side, and at first it seems like you're just going to a store. Well, turns out that's the gift shop section and once you finish circling through the museum you end up back where you started! Anyways, we were able to walk in and get tickets up front. We were shown a video on the foundation of the museum and we had a demonstration on how to utilize the tablet kiosks in front of each section. I thought it was very cool to see especially modern instruments and how they looked in the past. It feels really good to appreciate how far instruments have come and how music has really shaped the human experience. I saw many people of all ages come here and enjoy. My favorite part would definitely be the interactive sections where you get to strum or play with some instruments. I definitely wished I knew how to play some chords! Definitely worth a visit at least once.

Initially I…read morethought I'd made a bad call when I purchased the tickets because after buying them I saw so many reviews online saying how the flowers were already all gone, and how it's a waste of money for an Instagram photo shoot. But I didn't find that to be my experience at all. I do think that the ticket cost is pretty steep, but my husband and I had a really lovely experience here. There were still a lot of flowers in bloom when we went. I could tell that a lot had withered away at this point already, but I was still happy with what we were able to see. It did make a lovely backdrop for lots of cute photos, and I got plenty of enrichment being by so many beautiful flowers. We also spent over an hour picking our own blueberries. Since we went so late in the season, a lot of the good blueberries had already been picked, so there were slim pickings. It took a long time to gather two good basketfuls, but it was fun (and actually really tasty). Definitely another reason to go earlier in the season next time. It was a great place for a date, and we got lots of steps in while doing so many fun things like the sweet pea maze, watching the birds, and venturing out to find the sunflower field. I thought it would be a one-and-done, but we are actually looking forward to going back another year!

Just fields and fields of beautiful flowers. We took the tractor ride which took us all around the fields. They also have different little sectioned cut outs in the fields to take pictures and walk in the flowers. Please do not go over the tape and trample the flowers, there are literally spots designated to walk in the flowers and take photos without hurting them. We also went inside the butterfly room! That was soooo fun :))) We had lots of butterflies land on us and fly around. It's $8 per person but I recommend it! They also have many different snack options, a sweet pea maze, and an inside orchid exhibit. Lots of things to do whether you're a kiddo or an adult! They also had field trips with elementary school kiddos while we were there. So cool that they have programs for kiddos to learn more about plants and agriculture :) Parking- There's plenty of parking. If the lot gets full, the outlet mall is next door and has more parking. Pricing- Pricing has gone up, but is so worth it to keep the fields growing! The tractor ride and butterfly exhibit cost $8 per person, but we enjoyed it :)

There's still the one in Irvine but it's seen better days (they took out the waterslides, the mini golf is kinda sad, etc.). This Boomers in Vista (San Diego) is awesome! -They have a 2 story arcade -They have bumper boats -They have race cars (need to be 58" to drive by yourself but they also have cars for 2 people) -They have batting cages -They have laser tag -They have a large free parking lot My favorite thing about this Boomers is: -They have the most amazing mini golf! They have 2 mini golf courses: 1) pirate themed and 2) castle themed and both of the courses are really well maintained and have really cool features and tons of different obstacles. They have water features, the pirate course is 2 stories tall, they have really interesting holes, it's not just turf they have imitation sand and water and "rough" - the mini golf is really great here! I will gladly drive down from Orange County to come here to San Diego County because this Boomers is great! Just be warned they don't open until 11am on Sundays.

Want to wash your hands? Too bad. The carpets inside were disgusting. AC was wonky indoors. Snack shack was kind of gross. Just dingy. Everything needs a refresh. That said, this place is a descent spot to have some activities although its pricey for being overall sticky and out of date. You get mini golf, lazer tag, go carts, bumper boats, arcade, batting cages and a sunburn. And maybe hand foot mouth. Can we PLEASE get an out door bathroom and places to wash hands?! I really think there should be a family pass, but it's $50/person for unlimited activities which is pretty pricy, but I guess it's better than an hour in an escape room. For $150 you can get an entire annual membership to any museum....plus lunch. It's just super expensive. Probably won't go more than a couple times a year, but it's fine. With legoland passes I just can't justify the price....and the stickiness of it all. Pack hand wipes, and a pee bucket.
