The mammogram area had little extra touches that made me feel a bit more comfortable. A dressing room to get changed, a large bathroom, a nice waiting area. It had a feminine touch. Maddie was absolutely amazing. She walked me through the entire process, explained what she'd be doing and why, the next steps for the visit, and just truly took the time to make sure I felt comfortable. That extra detail really goes a long way! The receptionist scheduled my appointment to coincide with the doctor's in-office day. I waited just a few minutes and he was able to review my images. I explained to the intake receptionist that I didn't have an appointment but I wasn't feeling well and hoped the medical staff could work me in, instead of me going to ER. Without blinking an eye, the intake person told me to have a seat and told me to have a seat and that I was checked in. I was very relieved expecting to have an issue because I didn't have an appointment. Within 5 minutes they called me back. Gage (PA) was very thorough. He ordered blood drawn an EKG. He was patient and listened to all my concerns. This is by far one of the best Medical practices I have been to.

After a checking they noticed a something suspicious on my back. Oddly enough it was located next to where I had a melanoma removed 30 years ago. The biopsy came back that I have melanoma again but they caught it thankfully in its early stages. They followed up with an appointment to remove a larger area so that they got it all. That will take place end of the month at their Hilton Head location. Next they scheduled appointments every three months for the next year to do checks on my body. I think they have done an excellent job catching it so soon and their plan to get ahead of it is wonderful. Thankful that they are very detailed and got it early.

I had only an appointment for one of my kids but the other wasn't feeling…read morewell either and he very happily examined the other one and wrote them both for prescriptions. The nice thing about the medical home is after seeing your provider you may walk into the waiting room and fill your prescriptions at the pharmacy that is in the office. Also if you have kids they have toys in the waiting room. My kids never seem to mind going and have fun playing while they wait. The waiting time for me has always been less than 10 minutes. My only complaint is sometimes appointments are a little difficult to get, but they do have after hours clinic which can be helpful.
