What happened to my Mom is a nightmare. She has been hospitalized multiple times now for these wounds. DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE THERE BECAUSE THEY WILL BE NEGLECTED!!!

His arms are bruised and skin broken open and scabbed from rough handling. he has never had issues with incontinence but because the staff is lazy and afraid of liability problems they put him in a diaper and tell him to pee in it instead of respecting his dignity and helping him to the bathroom. in their care he has gone from being a normal human being to a shell of a person in just three weeks. we have done everything we can to find him a new place and finally ready to move him. so, my wife told them the day before that he was moving and the morning of with three hours of heads up to please get him ready. but when she shows up, they have done nothing. Absolutely the WORST Office. I had a Psych and a Therapist…read morewith NH, and I had issues with both. The Psych Dr. that I had kept insisting I had a disorder that I did not believe I had. When I mentioned that I believe I am Autistic and have ADHD, he declined that it was possible. The therapist, every visit would tell me that I am a problem, and after 3 years of outpatient care with this office, I was MORE SICK than when I arrived. The therapist would try to confuse me into thinking a certain way, by putting me down!! My husband heard what they were saying to me and told me to quit seeing them immediately, as he obviously saw signs of medical malpractice, manipulation and psychological abuse after I told him what they were saying to me. When I tried to leave the Therapist would call me trying to get me to stay with them for some odd reason when they heard I wanted to switch to a completely different company. I finally found a proper Psych and therapist with a completely different company, and for reference in this situation, I will note that they are amazing in comparison to New Horizons. The new Dr has Diagnosed me with Autism & ADHD, and have given me proper therapies for that without forcing pills down my throat the way New Horizons was trying to. I have been able to learn about my disorders and how to cope with them properly, and it has helped me stabilize my life and start healing. (You will not get help from New Horizons if you have ASD or ADHD--they admitted they don't deal with it, at all) It has taken me 2 whole years of therapy with a proper office to heal from the damage New Horizons ensued on my mental and physical health. And it's also worth mentioning, when I talked to management at New Horizons about my situation, they will gaslight you and still act like it's not their problem. And they admitted they don't deal with Autism. And that's the kicker! They kept me SICK for YEARS just because they know Nothing of Autism, misdiagnosed me because they know nothing about Autism! If they knew nothing about Autism or ADHD than they should have been honest when I said I believed I had it, and referred me to someone who does know and can properly evaluate me for it, instead of gas lighting me and insisting I couldn't have it and making me sick for years. Because as soon as I was diagnosed properly with ASD & ADHD, I got better. And that was NOT going to happen at New Horizons because they were labeling, misdiagnosing and putting me down constantly. All while not even acknowledging my concerns or letting me know that they don't deal with ASD. How Horrible, and I really hope that they don't put anyone else through this. I am genuinely concerned that they are still continuing to do this to other people. Please be careful if you go to New Horizons!

She was persistent getting orders from my Doctor and authorization from my insurance. Both made her job difficult, but she suceeded. I can't thank Justin S, Justin G, Marisa, Megan and Kendrick, enough. My husbands is getting up and down better and he is walking better. My balance is so much better. As mentioned by others, the call button is ignored. You could sit with loaded Depends for hours in your bed. Troubled patients walk in on your loved ones and frighten them until they scream for help. Call the nurses station and no one answers. You have to go down there all the time for them to address anything that should have been done regularly. I could go on but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
