She is very stubborn and didn't want to do the required 3 hours of therapy/day. The therapists were unfailingly polite and professional, but would not take no for an answer. Despite herself, she progressed very well. I am sure that she improved more here than she would have anywhere else in this part of Florida. And the food is great, too! Case manager Tina was very helpful, and always kept me in the loop regarding the plan of action and her progress. My only complaint? They are a short-term rehab facility. Their average stay is 10-12 days. My mother has definitely improved, but she had basically no mobility when she arrived and will definitely need more therapy before she's ready to go back to her home by herself. So we are looking for another short term assisted living or skilled nursing facility so that she can make enough progress to go home. I really wish she could stay here for another 2 weeks with her excellent team, but they won't change their policy. I am sure that wherever she ends up won't be half as nice as Encompass!

To Alan J Thank you…read morefor your review of Solaris health care and all the issues. I had the same issues and more at Lifespace Communities dba Abbey Delray North in Delray Beach, FL, an Unskilled Nursing Facility, where My Dad languished for 85 days. What he went through was horrible. We could have used a good Doctor like you there, but likely you would have ran into the same brick walls as you did at Solaris. As My Dad and His Family also did. I'm writing this because Lifespace Communities dba Abbey Delray North hires Select Rehabilitation, a contract therapy solutions company. The regional manager is Rachelle Breanne Sterling. Employed by Select Rehabilitation. I see she is or was at Solaris. She was very cordial and wanting to help the first time I spoke with her but nothing after I expressed issues. Natasha Gerlach is the Rehab Director over at Abbey Delray North also employed by Select Rehabilitation who knows about every issue. But the CONFLICT OF INTEREST between SELECT Rehabilitation and Lifespace Communities is just too HUGE. Rachelle and Natasha are afraid of losing their jobs if they speak up about all the issues going on at Abbey Delray North. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing because they are too fearful to speak up. I was told by a Lifespace administrator that with one phone call to Select Rehab they can get rid of one person or the entire Rehab Team. It's already happened. Is it the same at Solaris? Also like at Solaris, the attitude of most of the people over at Abbey Delray North when you have issues is HORRENDOUS. They will cover for each other and they will blame your Loved One for their issues. Absolutely Disgusting. Btw, Mark Raynor the Lifespace Communities administrator attempted to tell me the issues My Dad had was My Dad's fault. What a bum for even thinking that. Abbey Delray North is like a rudderless ship. With the attitude of Raynor and others who think their titles mean anything in the real world, sadly their underlings follow their overlords with their attitudes, work ethics and everything else. Truly Sad but it appears from hearing about Solaris, it's the same at all of these Facilities. What a sad but true fact. Thank you again for your honest thought provoking review.

Also, I was told that what my insurance did not cover, they would not bill me. I would not owe anything- I asked this over and over and was confirmed that I would not owe any money. Don't chose Executive Recovery Center; here's why:…read more I was a patient at the Executive Recovery Center from February 24th to March 2nd 2016. I ended up filing a HIPAA complaint because one of the staff left my patient profile up on his unattended computer with his office door wide open (with a welcome sign hanging on the doorknob). This staff member also left documents containing personal medical information on his desk under the same conditions described above. Also, I was summarily discharged from the Center because I suffer from Paruresis (an inability to urinate with someone in the room). I filed a grievance requesting an accommodation (being searched prior before closing the door or submitting to a blood test, etc.). I was then discharged from the Center because of my Paruresis. I asked for a written response to my grievance but the Program Manager refused to provide a response except to throw me out of the Treatment Center. Lastly, the patients are required to turn over their cash and credit cards during the admission process. If you need money for ancillary items during you stay you have to use cash and they actually charge a 10% fee to obtain cash from your own credit/debit card. I also witnessed another client leave because of poor housing conditions and lack of food. There are plenty of rehab places in Florida, I strongly recommend that you choose another one.

He diagnosed it quickly, lanced it on the spot and for 15 days he met me in the office with massive shots, clean and repacking and probably saved my life, while keeping me out of the hospital. That made me a believer in him, because he met my husband and I on weekends when they were closed too! He was wonderful, and balanced, measured when we had Covid too. No judgments, just a willingness to support us with accurate information so that we could make informed decisions about our own health. A year ago I ended up in the heart with an undiagnosed heart problem. He referred me to both heart and lung experts, Dr GoJarity, Cardiology, never gave up until an answer was forthcoming. Dr Carpino promised a year ago he'd get an answer and he did!! We have also found Andy and Suzanne and others at 24 Hr to be amazing, very supportive and helpful. Quick note. I'm a professional athlete and am pretty familiar with a lot of injuries. I've also…read morerevived medical treatment for these issues at other locations across the country. I was visiting Florida for a month and was seeking physical maintenance for the duration of my stay. I was not seeking treatment for an acute injury so perhaps that's why my care was not taken seriously. Extremely unimpressed. So the staff were all very warm and friendly. But the care was mediocre. The primary doctor tried to tell me that I could have hip bursitis after I had described pain symptoms that had nothing to do with bursitis (the pain was located in my hip and was in fact related to my psoas). I had previously been diagnosed with mild scoliosis. The primary kept telling me that it didn't look like I had scoliosis (until the x-rays proved out that I have the mild scoliosis as I told him I had already been diagnosed with). The chiropractor was very nice. However, I had to explain to him why I needed a modicum of muscle work done before an adjustment (I've been to many chiros - minor muscle work before an adjustment is standard procedure). I had initially come in because I heard that they were an integrative practice that incorporates PT.l and chiropractic. I was promised at home physical therapy because my condition is not severe and being a professional athlete, I would be able to accomplish the work on my own. After several visits of mediocre adjustments and 3 weeks of being promised that my PT regimen was "being prepared" (and me following up) I never received it. I'm still waiting. I cancelled my remaining appointments and I won't be returning.
