I'd recommend stocking up on groceries on your way in to the house so you have everything you need right there with you. The piano could use tuning and the shower upstairs - while in a large bathroom - is good for only those under 5 feet tall. Some design elements could have been eliminated or rethought, but overall this place is lovingly restored and appointed. I was very comfortable here and felt like I was at home.

Location to Fundy National Park (literal minutes), Hopewell Rocks (30 minutes) and the restaurants/brewery of Alma (5 minute walk) made it ideal for exploring the area. Very nice to have it be dog friendly- the dog would've loved to spend the whole trip laying outside, watching the ride and the village. Would definitely come back and stay longer in the future- kitchen set up made it possible to prepare food. Great price- four adults loved our stay!

We were in the third cottage, where electricity main entered our building and a massive electrical main situated in the lower bedroom. No other cottages had this, which suggests that underground wiring supports the others. The cottages are cozy and we opted for the lower bedroom as it is closest to the only bathroom. Our cottage could use some work but given the late season visit and the lack of options, it was perfect. The owners were also quite nice. Like I said, it's quaint but it's a good spot to rest your head and watch the tides from a ridge. Oh, they have wifi. It's not advertised on their website so do ask.

The bed was really comfy and I had a great sleep The cottage felt very homey. WIFI was included and it was speedy. I imagine it's really nice here in the summer time. We were starting to get tired out and decided to skip a venue in Maine and come to PEI instead. I found this cottage in booking.com for a low price. I was a little skeptical at first as I had never used booking.com and this seemed too good to be true. I booked our cottage for a Fri-Sun and as soon as we got there and saw the setup I asked if it was available for 3 more nights and it was! It was exactly what we needed. We have had fun touring to some of the costal sites and just sitting on the cottage deck staring at the huge North Atlantic Ocean. We even learned that there is an Atlantic time zone! Funny that when we first got here I walked down to the cliff to take pictures and picked up a wood tick on my way back to the cottage. Where I grew up we had nightly tick checks before going to bed at night. It brought back memories. I couldn't find these cottages in Yelp and didn't mean to name them cabins. If I can figure out how to change them I will to Cottages on PEI. Our host were easy to communicate with and the were a real pleasure to work with. We were hear toward the end of May and glad we brought warm clothes with as it did get cold, especially seeing the light towers. I did touch some of the water at one of our stops and it really did feel warm enough to swim I . We went to visit a beach 5 miles down the road but it was closed until June 1 as are a lot of attractions and restaurants. But there was enough open for our pleasure. Renting a cottage also enabled us to stop at a grocery store and purchase some eat in foods. Each cottage has a couple of chairs that sit out by the cliff, a picnic table, gas grill and chairs on the connected deck. We can see a light house off to our right and the fabulous Confederate bridge off to our left. We are 1700 miles away from home but are enjoying the great Canadian hospitality and scenic views.

The amenities, like access to laundry facilities and needed items helped make our stay in the cottage comfortable. We stayed in Cottage 2 with 3 rooms. The kitchen was great to have. And while there was a tv... we hardly watched! Overall, it suited our needs for a place to rest after lond day trips along the coasts around PEI. We also had an opportunity to have a camp fire inbetween the rain thanks to a young entrepreneur selling wood for $5. The evening low tide was amazing! We could walk out about 50 meters along the ocean floor and watch the gorgeous sunset! I would stay at these cottages again... as the location was great, the amenities were comfortable, the price was affordable. Awesome stay!

The view of the water is unbeatable (and when the tide is out you can walk down and stroll along the ocean shore!). We love these so much that we've been there twice in the last month. Economy isn't too far from Halifax, so you don't feel like you're killing much time in travel. But it's far enough that you feel like you're far from home and away from it all. There are three Bernese Mountain Dogs that roam the property and love making friends with guests. The owners are friendly, and the duty manager Warren couldn't possibly be more helpful and happy to make your stay the best possible. I really can't recommend these cottages highly enough. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

We happened upon this place only to find them full. The people were so nice, and after some calls they found us a place in Parrsboro. We were impressed with the place and decided to return the next day for a night. That one extra day turned into three extra days. The cabins are very well equipped, clean and reasonably priced. It's right on the bay and the tides are amazing. We definitely plan to return some day.

We were visiting Historic Stanley Bridge for the traditional "Ceilidh" {traditional Scots/Irish music}. Owners Drew and Frances made sure we were secure with tickets and great seats. All units at Linden Homestead have been newly renovated and are fresh and sparklingly clean. These 2 nights at Linden Homestead were the beginning of our trip to PEI and Nova Scotia; Frances and Drew were exceedingly helpful and friendly with tips about our further travels. We would highly recommend this property and would certainly stay here again.
